Such a [[NoHoldsBarredBeatDown brutal]], bloody, public, and televised crime won't simply be forgotten by the public, particularly when it is linked to a tragedy as world-changing as the Fall of Beacon.

He knows what sex and romance are but is not sexually attracted to other people and shows no interest in sex or romantic relationships in general. He only cares about other things like his family and friends, food, video games, and being a hero.

* IgnoreTheFanservice: Justified. Coco blatantly flirts with America and Canada, looks them over, and calls them "cuties", much to Velvet's embarrassment. America [[{{Asexuality}} doesn't care]] and continues on with his conversation, while Canada turns red and covers his face. The scene is in Blake's POV and she believes America is oblivious to the flirting, but he is actually Asexual and has no interest in flirting.

She keeps to minimal details and only gives information she believes will not reveal the soldier that attacked America is Ironwood. This includes telling Winter that America was locked in a basement and how a soldier wanted him to go back with him and America said no, so the soldier attacked him and threatened to shoot him. The information Penny gives makes it sound like America was kidnapped and [[AttemptedRape nearly sexually assaulted]] by a [[SociopathicSoldier sold]][[StalkerWithACrush ier]] in the mines. America does not help clear things up by forcing a laugh and saying "Well, it wasn't the first time that happened. You'd think I'd be numb to it by now." Winter's subsequent actions and questions heavily imply she thinks he was [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything stalked, kidnapped, and imprisoned]] by soldiers. And since this is [[{{Asexuality}} Ame]][[ObfuscatingStupidity rica]] and [[LiteralMinded Penny]], they have no idea what the story sounds like.]]
