** Emma constantly tries to climb to the roof, because she dreamed she will meet her dad there. You can imagine Marinette's reaction. And then she manages to slip out of the window and almost falls... right in front of her and Adrien.
** The main reason Marinette tries to stay away from Adrien isn't that she's afraid for her heart, but that she's afraid for Emma's. She doesn't want her to bond too closely to a person who will likely be gone forever in a week.
** The morning after Marinette and Adrien make up, she wakes up only to find out that she missed a scheduled business flight. That, by itself, means she is likely fired already, but then she discovers [[FromBadToWorse Emma and Adrien are both gone]]. [[spoiler:In reality, Marinette merely missed a note from Adrien about the flight being delayed by a couple of days and him taking Emma out for a few hours.]]

Now, six years later, Adrien is back for the wedding of Nino and Alya. And when he goes to meet Nino, he finds him babysitting a five year old girl. With Marinette's freckles... And Emilie Agreste's face. And, as it turns out, Marinette used to be Ladybug.
