* TheChosenOne: Midoriya is this even in this fic, as for whatever reason, Y/N had visions of him even as a young kid, and his determination to become a hero even while Quirkless helped inspire her [[spoiler: even through her time as an underground cage fighter]]. When Nighteye expresses his [[TheChosenZero doubts]] about Yagi's choice of successor, Y/N wastes no time defending her student.

* InVinoVeritas: After a mild night of dinner and drinking after the students' final exams, the normally aloof Aizawa thanks Y/N for all the help he has given to his class and for looking out for everyone, prefacing it with a disclaimer that he is drunk, will say something he won't normally say, and that she shouldn't tell him afterwards.

** [[spoiler: Fatgum once met her while he was undercover, helped her while she was having a fever, and wanted to get her out of there, but Y/N foresaw him getting hurt if he tried and ran away from him. They meet some years later with him as Kirishima and Amajiki's mentor, and several hugs are exchanged after recognition.]]

* AmbiguouslyEvil: Tokumei, [[spoiler: Mumei's twin brother. He helped educate Y/N, his brother's ward and child cage fighter, never helping her despite knowing what he put her through. Only when she declared she would help save the students of U.A. did he decide to help her, purely out of curiosity of if she really could change the future she foresaw, and even then he [[LaserGuidedAmnesia wiped her memories]] so he couldn't be traced from her. Much later, he helps Y/N and a newly-met Eri escape from Overhaul, for whatever his motivations]].

** And then she does the same to the "Dadzawa" meme. Though she is taken a bit aback when Present Mic lets on that she is one of his kids too.

* EmbarrassingOldPhoto: Turns out Ingenium has a whole host of them on his phone of his little brother (like little Tenya in a tuxedo or a robot costume), and loves to share them at any opportunity, much to Tenya's dismay and Y/N's glee.

* WeirdnessMagnet: After the Stain incident, Y/N wonders if Midoriya has a secondary Quirk that turns him into a magnet for trouble.

* NeverHadABirthday: When Y/N admits to Class 1-A that due to her IdentityAmnesia she doesn't know when her birthday is ([[spoiler: and probably never celebrated it anyway due to her DarkAndTroubledPast]]), they wastes no time discussing what day to give her. Y/N eventually decides on a date very important to her - the day she became Class 1-A's TA.

* TheChosenOne: Midoriya is this even in this fic, as for whatever reason, Y/N had visions of him even as a young kid, and his determination to become a hero even while Quirkless helped inspire her [[spoiler: even through her time as a cage fighter]]. When Nighteye expresses his [[TheChosenZero doubts]] about Yagi's choice of successor, Y/N wastes no time defending her student.

* UnfamiliarCeiling: Quoted directly when Y/N first wakes up in U.A.'s infirmary.

One day, a young woman is found unconscious on the grounds of the hero school U.A., with no memory of her name or origins, but with a Quirk that allows her to [[{{Seers}} see the future]] and a warning of a major villain attack on the students of Class 1-A during their USJ field trip. For the first time in her life, the woman only known as Y/N has the opportunity to change the future and protect the students from harm, and as Class 1-A's newest Teaching Assistant, she'll do her best to make that brighter future a reality.

** [[spoiler: His contact Tokumei is marginally better since he educated her, but barely since he made no effort to get her away from the criminal underworld, until his curiosity was piqued to see if she really could change the future.]]

* AmnesiacHero: Y/N counts, as she has no concrete memories of her home, past or origins, and is unsure of even her own name. All she remembers is her powers and a warning to deliver.

** Chapter 33 gives Y/N some answers - or at least from [[spoiler:All For One and the barrier villain Mumei's perspective - Y/N came from the criminal underworld, where she was a child fighter named the Prophet [[GladiatorGames who fought other children for sport and entertainment]], and she was one of the best due to her CombatClairvoyance. Mumei was her manager and caretaker, who only did so for the money she made. He left her education up to one of his contacts named Tokumei, who was the one who left her at U.A. to see if she could really change the future she could predict]].

* LuminescentBlush:

* RubberFace: What Y/N does to Monoma Neito after he takes responsibility for Class 1-B kidnapping her (without knowing she was a faculty member and not a student).

** When Y/N hears that Midoriya and Bakugou will be teamed up against All Might for their final exam purely because they don't get along (thus making the exam an attempt to invoke FireForgedFriends) and gets a vision about how it will play out (with Bakugou refusing to listen to Midoriya), she chews out both Yagi for almost breaking Midoriya's back and Aizawa for even suggesting the team in the first place, as Midoriya is already fully willing to team up with Bakugou and thus would get nothing out of the exam, effectively making the exam a test for Bakugou only and a punishment for Midoriya and Midoriya alone.

* BarrierWarrior: One new villain arrival to the USJ attack has this ability, and for some reason, [[TheDreaded just thinking about him scares the crap out of Y/N]]. [[spoiler: His name is Mumei, and turns out he's her guardian]].

* ChekhovsGun: One time after talking to Aoyama, Y/N gets the idea to get Hatsume to make glitter bombs for her, both to work with his Quirk and as potential distractions just in case. During the Summer Camp arc, Y/N realizes that [[spoiler: the small blue ball-shaped bombs look very similar to the prisons generated by the villain Mr. Compress, allowing her to use them as decoys to get him to release his prisoners.]]

** It turns out [[spoiler: this was her main selling point as [[GladiatorGames an underground child cage fighter]] - the kid fighter known as the Prophet was a crowd pleaser as a fighter who could see her opponent's moves before they made them.]]

* GreenEyedMonster: A few students don't take it well that, because Uraraka and Todoroki are living with Y/N at the school dorms as a trial run, they get first picks whenever she makes treats.

* ImHavingSoulPains: A major drawback of [[spoiler: Y/N's Quirk; if she manages to change the future and butterfly away injuries she foresees someone taking in her important visions, the pain from those injuries are instead inflicted onto her at the time of their occurrence (though no actual damage). Doing so has laid her out multiple times.]]

* CombatClairvoyance: Y/N unlocks this facet of her Quirk while practicing with Shinsou, and it goes into full use [[spoiler: when she is kidnapped by Stain]]. It even makes her [[GlowingEyesOfDoom eyes glow]]. Unfortunately, she can't use it for very long.
** It turns out [[spoiler: this was her main selling point as [[GladiatorGames an underground child cage fighter]] - the kid fighter known as the Prophet was a big seller as someone who could see her opponent's moves before they made them.]]

* CoolTeacher: Y/N qualifies in spades, giving out stickers and sweets for jobs well done, helping tutor struggling students, and comforting them when they're struggling.

*** And then a second one happens when she returns [[spoiler: after being kidnapped by the League of Villains]]. Quickly followed by a third.

** As Todoroki {{Defrost|ing Ice King}}s and establishes his TheComicallySerious credentials, almost all of his classmates are stunned that he's slowly learning about memes, Pokémon, and being open to Y/N's sweets, stickers and hugs. Y/N finds it all hilarious.
** Class 1-B is stunned when their masked classmate [[TheStoic Bondo]] gets in on the joke war they're having with 1-A, and actually succeeds in making Y/N laugh.

* RefugeInAudacity: During a pun war between Class 1-A and 1-B, [[TheStoic Bondo]] from 1-B hands Y/N a note that just tells her to pretend there's a funny joke written on it [[TheGadfly to mess with the rest of his class]]. The audacity itself makes Y/N break down in giggles, causing 1-B to swarm the masked boy, who they were convinced had no sense of humour whatsoever.

* SenseiChan: It's noted that Y/N is estimated to be only a few years out of high school, and she's even mistaken for a student by some.

** As Todoroki {{Defrost|ing Ice King}}s and establishes his TheComicallySerious credentials, almost all of his classmates are stunned that he's slowly learning about memes, Pokémon, and being open to Y/N's sweets, stickers and hugs. Y/N finds it all hilarious.

** [[spoiler: If Y/N manages to make a big enough change to the future seen in her visions, [[FantasticFragility all the pain from the injuries that would have been suffered by others is inflicted onto her instead]] (though no actual damage). For example, when she butterflied away the injuries that Aizawa, Thirteen and Midoriya sustained during the canon USJ attacks, she suffered the pain of broken limbs and a crushed head]].

* GroupHug: Y/N finds herself in one with all of the girls of 1-A (and a few guys) after she returns from [[spoiler: convalescing after taking on all the pain from the averted USJ attack]].

* ShutUpHannibal: [[spoiler: [[ManipulativeBastard All For One]] is almost succeeding in [[BreakThemByTalking breaking]] his captive Y/N by showing her that there's no mention of her in the news and that U.A. is not looking for her despite all she's done for their students - upon which Y/N defiantly replies that even if she was abandoned, she'd never help the person who would harm her students.]]

* TemptingFate: After watching Iida Tenya be embarrassed by his brother showing his baby pictures, Todoroki asks Y/N if he and Midoriya will have to share theirs as well, to which Y/N says that she'd love to if they have any on hand. Cue Midoriya's mother bursting through the door.

* LaughThemselvesSick: If one thing can consistently set Y/N off, it's Todoroki's DefrostingIceKing personality and status as TheComicallySerious after the Sports Festival, be it Franchise/{{Pokemon}} comments, memes, or snarks about his father.

* WaxOnWaxOff: Shades of this appear in one of Y/N's lessons, which involves her asking questions to Class 1-A while they're running laps and rewarding them with water. Most of them are standard academic questions, but she also challenges Midoriya to accept compliments without flustering or [[DismissingACompliment denying it]], and challenges Bakugou to compliment his classmates.

* BarrierWarrior: One new villain arrival to the USJ attack has this ability, and for some reason, [[TheDreaded just thinking about him scares the crap out of Y/N]].

* GroupHug: Y/N finds herself in one with all of the girls of 1-A after she returns from [[spoiler: convalescing after taking on all the pain from the averted USJ attack]].

* MassOhCrap: Class 1-B's appropriate response when they realise that the girl in the odd uniform that they just kidnapped and tried to interrogate... is a ''teacher''.

* ThoseTwoGuys: While Yamada/Present Mic isn't being [[StraightManAndWiseGuy the Wise Guy to Aizawa's Straight Man]], he's playing this role alongside Kayama/Midnight. The two of them are often seen laughing at the byplay between Y/N and Aizawa in the staff room, squabbling over Y/N's spare lunch bento, or livening up Y/N's outings while Aizawa is dragged along for the ride.

* CuddleBug: Y/N is very prone to hugging her cute students whenever they do something that makes her smile. On the other end, Tokoyami's Quirk Dark Shadow would do literally anything to get a cuddle from Y/N.

** After the Stain arc [[spoiler: where she was kidnapped by Stain]], Y/N apologizes to Tenya, Todoroki and Midoriya for being a burden who couldn't defend herself and resolves to train to become someone they can rely on, but Todoroki tells her that she is already reliable, and that the whole class relies on and respects her more than she knows.

* AmnesiacHero: Y/N counts, as she has no concrete memories of her home, past or origins, not even her own name. All she remembers is her powers and a warning to deliver.

* AscendedMeme: Y/N popularizes the "Dad Might" meme around All Might after taking note of how much he dotes on Midoriya, much to her colleagues' glee.

* EntertaininglyWrong: Class 1-B wanted to find out more about the student in a different uniform who keeps hanging around Class 1-A, but since Monoma thought she'd be too high-and-mighty to answer questions, he suggested kidnapping her and interrogating her instead. Unfortunately for him, Y/N isn't a student, she's a ''teaching assistant''. When she tells them so, the entire class freaks out.

** Chapter 15 has Y/N, Midnight and Mic laughing their heads off at Nedzu's security footage, which had captured Class 1-B panicking over kidnapping and interrogating Y/N, whom they had mistaken for an unusual student instead of a faculty member. Vlad King, on the other hand, isn't laughing as he thinks of how to discipline his class.

* StealthHiBye: Nedzu has done this to Y/N twice so far - once when he startled her asking for a sucker, and another when he popped up because he forgot to give Y/N her bank card. The second one startled both her and Present Mic into a SecurityCling. Y/N is sure that [[TheGadfly he does this on purpose]].

* YouAreNotAlone: When the mere thought of the barrier villain involved in the attack on USJ sends Y/N into a panic attack, Midnight gives her a CooldownHug while Nedzu affirms that as long as she is under their protection, the villains will not lay a hand on her.
* YouCanPanicNow: Class 1-B's appropriate response when they realise that the girl in the odd uniform that they just kidnapped and tried to interrogate... is a ''teacher''.

** Y/N was warned of Midoriya's accidental encounter with Shigaraki while mall-shopping for camping supplies and warned Midoriya appropriately, but Midoriya still accidentally ran into Shigaraki anyway while grocery-shopping for his mother. This incident makes Y/N wonder [[YouCantFightFate if the important events of future really are immutable]].

** All of All Might's colleagues get a laugh when Y/N starts making Dad jokes at his expense, especially when she mentions a rumor that Midoriya was his illegitimate son.

* NoSympathy: When Y/N gets a vision about Present Mic's experience during Class 1-A's year-end exam (which would involve him getting swarmed with bugs), she just pats his shoulder and reassures him that he'll be alright; he's a strong guy. [[NothingIsScarier This doesn't comfort him in the least]], much to the rest of the faculty's amusement; Aizawa is particularly unapologetic.

** If Y/N tries to outright tell anyone else what she foresees, she gets a splitting headache, and as such has to limit herself to small words. This pain can get erased by [[PowerNullifier Eraserhead's Quirk]], but doing so also removes the memories of the vision. [[spoiler: There is an apparent correlation between the pain she receives and the importance of the event]].

** Her CombatClairvoyance can only be used for a short while, and it leaves her with severe light sensitivity, a PsychicNosebleed, and in worse cases, seizures.

* DarkAndTroubledPast: As bits and pieces of Y/N's past start to seep through, such as her always doing the cooking even when she's not obliged to, crying over receiving a smartphone gift, and having a lot of muscle memory in self-defense, Aizawa gets the implication that her missing past was not a good one.

* LikeBrotherAndSister: Y/N ends up developing this big-sisterly relationship with Shinsou Hitoshi, whom she meets at lunch at one time. It helps that she's only a few years older and he's not directly her student.

** Monoma gets this after a few interactions with Y/N, much to the amusement of his class.

* StraightManAndWiseGuy: Tokoyami and his Quirk, [[LivingShadow Dark Shadow]] count as this, especially when Dark Shadow is begging for pets from Y/N while Tokoyami is embarrassed.
