Three Amigos is a disambiguation

* ThreeAmigos: Daphne, Marcus, and Naomi. Daphne being the protagonist and leader, while Marcus and Naomi could scarcely be more different. Marcus is male, Naomi is female. Marcus is Filipino, Naomi is classically American. He's a rebel, she's a daddy's girl. He is Daphne's (former, on again off again throughout the story) potential love interest, and she is Daphne's best friend. Even their modes of transportation contrast each other, Marcus opting for a motorcycle and Naomi riding horseback.

* EnchantedForest: The Everfree is this to an even greater degree than in canon: besides its usual population of monsters and its treacherous, swampy terrain, it is riddled with Ways, leading it to teem with MisplacedWildlife that gives a downright surreal air, it's home to a hidden goblin town, and if you get lost you may end up in another universe entirely.

* TheLostWoods: The Everfree is this to an even greater degree than in canon: besides the regular monsters and its treacherous, swampy terrain, it is riddled with Ways, leading it to teem with MisplacedWildlife that gives a downright surreal air, it's home to a hidden goblin town, and if you get lost you may end up in another universe entirely.

* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: For fan fiction about miniature technicolor equines, the story has a fair deal of mature references and innuendo. Chief among them, when Marcus realizes [[spoiler: that he's in a world populated chiefly by naked women and can't quite handle it]].

''[[http://www.fimfiction.net/story/73404/through-the-well-of-pirene: Through the Well of Pirene]]'', written by [[http://www.fimfiction.net/user/Ether+Echoes: Ether Echoes]] and published on [=FIMFiction=], is the story of one Daphne Ocean, her little sister Amelia Ocean, and Daphne’s long lost childhood friend Leit Motif. The story begins late October, 2011 in an unnamed town in Massachusetts, outside of the fictional Everfree State Park. In a bid to entertain her sister while their parents are out of the house for the night, Daphne takes Amelia into Everfree State Park, the very place she met her childhood friend, Leit Motif, a young unicorn filly from the land of [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Equestria]]. Daphne and Amelia are separated, and both traverse the magical pathways between Everfree State Park and the Everfree Forest of Equestria—Amelia to run away, and Daphne to come after her. The two sisters are swiftly entangled in an ancient prophecy and a twisted plot spanning multiple worlds.

Through the Well of Pirene is written as a [[FirstPersonPerspective first person narrative]] following the perspectives of Daphne herself, Amelia, and later Leit Motif upon Daphne’s arrival in Equestria, switching perspectives approximately every chapter to keep the story rolling upon the two girls’ divergent paths. It has many inspirations, including ''Film/{{Labyrinth}}'', ''Literature/{{The Chronicles of Narnia}}'', and ''Literature/TheLordOfTheRings'', as well as taking inspiration and borrowing elements from Norse, Indian, and other mythologies.

Even if you escape, the Cup King will simply tempt you back by playing off of your wants and desires.

* RiddlingSphinx: Amelia, Wire and the CMC meet one in the Cup palace, who offers them the typical three riddles or death trial. Amelia answers the first two through a combination of clichedness on the sphinx’s part and {{genre savvy}}ness on hers, but the third proves much trickier. [[spoiler:They don’t answer it -- Sweetie Belle has an emotional breakdown and starts crying and begging the sphinx not to kill them, which guilts her into just letting them go.]]

bad example indentaion and likely misuse.

* FiveManBand:
** The Main Six, Twilight Sparkle and her friends, with [[spoiler: Rainbow Dash inadvertently playing the role of the {{Sixth Ranger Traitor}} to the protagonist alliance]]. Literally, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin she thinks its an acting job]].
** The Fake Five, complete with their own titular {{Sixth Ranger}}.
*** {{The Big Bad}}: Twig; counterpart to Twilight Sparkle and apparent leader of the Fake Five. She's not the Big Bad behind everything, but she is responsible for keeping the group running and does report directly to the Big Bad. Not to mention, most of the Wand goblins do respond to her orders, as well.
*** {{The Dragon}}: Pinion; counterpart to Pinkie Pie and just as unpredictable. She serves as the Fake Five's away team leader, commanding Wand goblins in the field as she's the only remaining member of the team with wings.
*** {{The Evil Genius}}: Maille; counterpart to Rarity and the only member of the team that is bipedal. As a former armorer and a fair user of goblin magic in her own right, Maille is a good second to Twig in terms of leading the group. She also seems to have a better head on her shoulders compared to Twig.
*** {{The Brute}}: Kiln; counterpart to Applejack and something of a loner compared to the others. A recent goblin conversion, Kiln is suspicious of many of Amelia's wiles, either too stubborn or too embittered to let herself be strayed. She certainly isn't dimwitted.
*** {{The Dark Chick}}: Rose; counterpart to Fluttershy and possessed of the same kind of empathetic link with animals and monsters. She serves double duty as a sort of [[TheBeastmaster beastmaster]] for the team, her most notable achievement being the control of a basilisk.
*** {{Sixth Ranger Traitor}}: Flash; counterpart to Rainbow Dash. [[spoiler: Inverted, as Flash has betrayed the bad guys to join with the protagonists, rather than the other way around]].
*** [[spoiler: This becomes less true as time goes on.]]
