The hipsters send out powerful OU tier Pokemon, while Ash sends out Unfezant. * MiseryBuildsCharacter: Darkern believes in this, and that only by using his RealityWarler powers to put Ash through horrible torment like trying to kill his Pokemon or getting his loved ones to betray him can he mold Ash into the ultimate trainer. Arceus disagrees and stops him whenever he can.
