* LetsFightLikeGentlemen: During his first bout in the fighting tournament, Izuku challenges NekotoraNekotora to a duel, meaning that he'll fight unmorphed while she fights using only her panther form, so they can have a more or less evenly matched fight.
* LittleBitBeastly: Nekotora Katherine, aka Manx, has a Quirk that allows her to turn into a CatGirl this with five different motifs at choice: a tiger, a lion, a cheetah, an ocelot, or a panther. Her ears shift into the top of the head while her hair turns into the pattern of the respective chosen feline, her hands turn into paws and she sprouts a tail from behind.

Added DiffLines:

* MasterOfNone: Nekotora considers her panther form to be the weakest overall, compared to the rest, as it increases her physical capacities, but not as much as her more specialized ones, and it's better suited for stealth rather than fighting.

However, he instead redirects the blame to Izuku for bringing her all the way there.

* MiddleSchoolIsMiserable: Notably averted, compared to My Hero canon. While Izuku's first two years (offscreen) are Aldera were miserable, gaining the Echo Morpher early in his third year makes it much better. Just having the Morpher is a dream come true. Also, it gives him an immediate physical boost allowing him to avoid the bullies. Which only gets easier as he works out and Tommy teaches Izuku both martial arts and how to deal with the bullies. The Morpher also makes him fluent in English, making his studies easier. And finally, he gains a real friends in Toshinori and Melissa, with the latter being his girlfriend for the last third of the school year. Safe to say Izuku's last year of middle school was one of the best years to date of his life.
