* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Eva herself. She was originally the main antagonist of the canon show but has reformed in this fanfiction's AU.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: Ava is known to be very kind, wise, and caring both in the canon show and in this fanfiction, but unlike the former, she tends to lose it and fight back the culprit instead of fleeing, especially if one of her loved ones is harmed or snatched away from her.
* BigFancyCastle: Each of the rooms and corridors of Omori Palace are described with such fancy imagery by the narration that the palace almost seems surreal. The palace has also been described as being much larger on the inside than it is on its exterior.
* BilingualBonus:
** Amaterasu means “shining heaven” in Japanese, and is the name of a major {{UsefulNotes/Shinto}} goddess. The red fox Shizukato priestess who makes her debut in Chapter 13 of this fanfiction is named Amaterasu.
** Also, Noroi means "curse" in Japanese, and is the alias taken by the main antagonist.
* BirthmarkOfDestiny: Ava has a dark brown birthmark on her right paw in the shape of a five-petaled cherry blossom, which is said to be the mark of destiny in the Omori lineage. This special mark is only shared between her and an ancestor of hers, Queen Taiyoko (the first monarch of the Pocket Kingdom who also founded the Omori line).
* BreakTheCutie: Ayaka, a young red kitsune, is chosen to be sent through the Shinnui Ceremony but was absolutely terrified of the fact. She is successfully sent, though turns out the ties to the kingdom she still took with her caused a series of events to happen in Onmyou.
