** While most authors will try to portray Adrien's mother as better than Gabriel and that Adrien's suffering happened under Gabriel, canonically she's only been gone for about a year. She was entirely complicit with what Gabriel did to Adrien.

** There's also some to the 'Adrien is starved for his model job' plot point. Yes, he's thin and on a strict diet, but he has a nutritionist who's making sure he's fed a healthy amount for a boy his age, and his activities as Chat Noir ''are'' taken into account.

** Chloe rejects Hawk Moth's offer since in this continuity she still has the Bee Miraculous, but he just turns Lila into Miracle Queen instead.

* MundaneUtility: Miraculous hero costumes include ''really comfy'' underwear. Chloe even says it's the best bra she's ever worn.

*** Several students either have notoriety in their own right (Marinette, Adrien, Chloe, Kitty Section) or have proven connections to other famous figures (Rose, Alya) so the idea that an ambassador's daughter could also have such connections is easy to believe.
*** Everyone in the class believes that somebody is either fact checking Lila or would say something if they knew. The Ladyblog posts about Lila haven't been discredited by Ladybug so no one has any reason to believe otherwise for example.
*** The class being accepting about Lila's supposed disabilities comes down to the fact that they have no reason to actually question her about it. It's not their place to request proof, it's the school's so they take it at face value. Same for Lila's prolonged absence from the school.
*** These are teenagers and ones who don't have any reason to doubt Lila's claims so they don't think too hard about what she's saying and accept it as is.
*** Lila is able to declare YoureJustJealous about Marinette because from their point of view Marinette has no reason to dislike Lila besides jealousy over Adrien, owing to the trust they have in Lila.
*** Adrien's belief that Lila's lying isn't really hurting anyone and should just be ignored comes down to a few factors. First is that he doesn't know about everything Lila has been doing to Marinette so he doesn't know how malicious she truly is. Second is that he has more limited experience with liars, believing she's just acting like a gossip monger at worst to look good. Third is that the sheer effort to disprove every single lie she comes up with would be massively counterproductive and would only result in further resentment from the rest of the class. Basically Adrien doesn't have the perspective that Marinette does about Lila and underestimates how bad she really is because of how he was raised.

** Chat Blanc is an akumatized Sabrina instead of Chat Noir (and isn't from an alternate timeline).

** Marinette's friends may have fallen for Lila's manipulations, but they're not her brainwashed minions; they just think that Marinette was jumping to conclusions about everything Lila said being false after catching a few of her lies.

* ExplainExplainOhCrap: Luka gets this when he realizes that, since his mom was in Jagged Stone's band, and she dropped out of the band because she got pregnant, Chloe's nickname of him being "Jagged Stone's Illegitimate Child," might hold more than a grain of truth. Chloe is contrite on the matter, though, as she was going with "Looks vaguely similar and also plays the guitar" and didn't want to stir up real drama.

** When Chat Noir realizes what his incessant flirting [[EntitledBastard looks like]], he has a private discussion with Ladybug about boundaries and how much flirting is too much.

* NeverMyFault: The fourth category of reason for being Akumatized is "You brought this on your own damn self" where the victim is upset over events that they themselves caused and got called out on it. This also has some MoralMyopia involved but it generally falls under the victim lashing out because they caused a problem and someone else pointed it out to them and they don't want to own up. Lila's Akumatizations count as this, as does Lady Wifi (snooping in someone else's locker is a punishable offense) and Pixielator (paparazzi got kicked out of a hotel he was stalking).

* BlueAndOrangeMorality: The third category of reasons for being Akumatized is "Bruh what the f*ck" where the reason is just incomprehensible to anyone else but doesn't fall under any other category. This includes Mr. Pigeon, and the zookeeper who was Akumatized when he heard a kid saying that he could run faster than a jaguar.

* BlueAndOrangeMorality: The third category of reasons for being Akumatized is "Bruh what the f*ck" where the reason is just incomprehensible to anyone else but doesn't fall under any other category. This includes Mr. Pigeon, and the Zookeeper who was Akumatized when he heard a kid saying that he could run faster than a Jaguar.

* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Expanded on, as Marinette informs the new Miraculous wielders what their Kwamis like to eat. Aside from Tikki's canon taste for cookies and Plagg's love affair with Camembert, Pollen likes honey, Trixx likes berries (and Alya's mother's cooking), Wayzz likes [[SpotOfTea tea]], Sass likes boiled eggs, Kaalki likes sugarcubes, and Long likes spicy food.

* FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: Chloe does this to herself, admitting that her [[AbusiveParents mother's]] influence is why she acts like an AlphaBitch but also letting the others know this means she needs them to let her know when she's going too far and help reel her in because she doesn't know better and needs to learn.

** Adrien reveals to the group that his mother was fully supportive of his father's ControlFreak way of raising him when she was around. The group is surprised by this but as Adrien points out Gabriel had been raising him that way for almost his whole life and his mother has only been gone for about the last year so she would have known about it and Gabriel would have only been able to do so if she supported him in it.
