She also infects Ponyland!Kabuto and turns him into one, which the guards he ends up with find out the hard way.

** Werebeast The Mane Six arrive in an Equestria were an encounter with an evil warlock turned their native selves into [[OurWerebeastsAreDifferent Werebeasts]], but the Elements let them retain their mind and morality. Fluttershy is a Wereskunk, with all that implies, as is anyone she infects who also get a copy of were to infect. Notably, her personality in their transformed state. As Wereskunk form is portrayed realistically with spraying a real skunk, she can spray a horrible horrid smelling liquid from the base of her tail, which tail that temporarily blinds the victim if it gets in their eyes. Because she's gigantic compared to a normal skunk (especially given her Wereskunk form is actually much larger than a pony), she also has far longer range and sprays a ''lot'' more at once. [[HeartIsAnAwesomePower extremely effective]]. She also infects Ponyland!Kabuto It's surprisingly effective]], and turns she manages to effectively neutralize ''attack helicopters'' by spraying the gunner, as it's rather hard to fire accurately when you're temporarily blind and coughing your head off.

They can the primary sapient species rather than ponies. They're also do various things with realistic depictions, and use their spray thanks musk in potion making.
** Hidden Fragrance, a unicorn in several universes, has a skunk theme
to magic.her and has scents as her special talent, so she can use spells to make horrible smells. [[BerserkButton Don't compare her to one though.]]
** [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyTales The Tales 7]] and Twilight discover a version of the Tales universe where the seven are [[Franchise/{{Digimon}} Digidestined]]. Sweetheart's partner, Mephitimon, is a skunk based Digimon, and digivolves into Sukankumon, a ''bigger'' skunk themed Digimon. As the latter, her Musk Jet attack fires a jet of horrid smelling mist, and can be fired from the expected spot or [[BreathWeapon her mouth]] to stun and disorient opponents with the stench. Ironically, her Ultimate form has a sweet smelling healing version in addition to the other one and an acid attack. Her Mega is a 100 foot tall skunk. As with the other examples, it's surprisingly useful and effective.

These examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.

** The jaunting ''did'' give Equestria, its allies, and their heroes a huge power up...but you can't import and invent a lot of new technology (and in this case magic) and integrate it into society and ''only'' good people will get their hands on it. Villains of various groups manage to get their own tech upgrades and ''don't'' [[VillainForgotToLevelGrind forget to level grind.]]
** A massive war with a extradimensional invasion fleet happened. While the heroes ''did'' win, there was still a lot of wrecked warships and robots scattered everywhere. This gave factions like organized criminal syndicates and the Storm King the chance to salvage the advanced technology and upgrade themselves.
** As the tensions and bickering within the Multiverse Alliance shows, even when everyone agrees to work together, doesn't mean that they would all get along without complications; the differences between participants with so many radically different environments, culture, mindsets and protocols will inevitably be the source of much internal conflict.
** Riot and his gang are a trio of normal teenagers using some respectable weaponry, but have no clue how to actually fight because they've been attacking worlds incapable of defending themselves. When they run into Kimono, who not only has PoweredArmor but has been taking defensive martial arts lessons, they don't stand a chance and are easily subdued. Riot's katana is also a cheaply-made one he just bought online, and when it comes to swords, YouGetWhatYouPayFor typically. As a result, the sword gives out and snaps relatively quickly.
** The Tales Seven received superpowers from the Mane Six in an accidental SuperEmpowering as well as PoweredArmor, and thus are able to hold their own and defeat the Chrysalis Network's agents. However, Teddy, Ace, and Lancer are a trio of normal, though athletic, teenaged boys who haven't even fully learned Earth Pony magic yet. When confronted by ''one'' Neo-Hooviet agent, they have no choice but to run and can only fight back by setting improvised traps and keeping as far away as possible. Even when they ''do'' finally fight back directly it's only once they've managed to get their pursuer into a situation that gives them an edge and disarmed him of his gun. Even then, they have to give it their all to beat him and have close calls.
** Patch has SuperStrength even by Earth Pony standards, but she's also a teenager and even with her PoweredArmor doesn't weight enough to stop a car or a forklift even if she has the sheer strength to do so, requiring her to brace herself against something with enough weight or support to let her put that strength to good use. She's tried to learn the 'anchoring' technique from Platformer Equestria, but this trope ''also'' ensues when she's still a novice and it gives out when she first attempts in.
** The Chrysalis Network was one of the greatest military forces on the planet and nearly conquered the Isle of Pony despite the Alliance's efforts. However, after their defeat there with many of their best agents being lost, they ultimately don't stand a chance when the rest of the world retaliates against them. Also, attempting to nuke the major capitals of the world tends to result in the world coming for your blood.
** The Tales 7 might be superheroes who have accomplished a lot (including directly saving the Isle of Pony and Olympus Station), but they're still teenagers in high school. Their parents still worry about them (which is also true of the Digidestined 7) and they aren't allowed to go on Jaunts without Twilight as chaperone.
** The Digidestined 7 have managed to handle themselves and be great heroes, but being hunted by a psychopathic maniac trying to hunt you for sport is [[HarmfulToMinors naturally terrifying and traumatic]]. As such, all of them are still terrified of Huntermon even after his defeat.
** When Catrinamon proves herself to be a world threateningly powerful being, Twilight instantly tries to send the Tales 7 to safety, as that's still far greater of a threat than anything they've faced head on before (as they only faced Chrysalis's forces and her worn down in the final fight before that) and she promised their parents she'd keep them safe. She only relents when it becomes obvious that Catrinamon will win if they leave and endanger thousands if not millions of people, and even then upgrades their suits as best she can for the fight.
** The Mechanicum see artificial intelligence outside specific cases as inherently dangerous and evil on a religious level and thus should be immediately destroyed. Princess Apple Bloom of Bright Future Equestria is a Goddess of Progress and Invention who's also the mother goddess of a race of AI ponies she created. They don't get along with each other, and laws had to be passed and clarify treatment of AI in every possible situation imaginable just to keep them from coming to blows over it (something everyone is justifiably afraid of, given they ended up in HumongousMecha battle over a science fair where they ''weren't'' actually trying to hurt one another and represent two of the strongest if not ''the'' strongest factions in the Alliance).
