Unfortunately [[WesternAnimation/InsideOut due to some mental struggles, Riley has had a rough first few days around San Fransokyo, and almost ran away back to Minnesota.]] However she realized her folly in time, [[NotHisSled but got lost]] and stumbled upon a bot fighting match. This chance encounter would eventually entwine her with the life of [[Disney/BigHero6 Hiro Hamada]], with new friends, new challenges, and an adventure that would change their lives forever.

* MassiveMultiplayerCrossover: Overtly, you have the end of ''WesternAnimation/InsideOut'', and the whole story of both ''Disney/BigHero6'' and ''WesternAnimation/{{Home}}'' as the main plotline. But in the backstory, you also have references to ''WesternAnimation/DespicableMe'', ''WesternAnimation/TheIncredibles'', and even ''WesternAnimation/MonstersVsAliens'' and ''WesternAnimation/{{Megamind}}''.

* RealityEnsues: In the final chapter, Rick and Monger point out that the Supers Ban just allowed supervillains to run rampant (since criminals wouldn't be bothered breaking ''another'' law), and is only nominally recognized anymore, and that they couldn't get Metro Man to follow it at ''all''.

* CrossoverShip: Hiro and Riley.

* OneSteveLimit: Averted in ''Unity'', as Mr Incredible and 'Benzoate Ostylezene Bicarbonate' meet, with the Monsters observing the challenges of both individuals being known as 'Bob' with no clear way to distinguish one from the other when calling them by name.

** She's also eventually able to use emotions, namely anger, offensively though she [[PowerIncontinence can't really do this on purpose and frequently puts too much power into the attacks]].

** Then of course, there's chapter 24, where Riley and Tip both call out the Big Hero 6 for trying to sideline Riley from their Island exploration. Riley was mad that they're holding her arms length when she's grown so much, and Tip was mad because they never knew that she was only there BECAUSE of Riley.

* OneSteveLimit: Disregarded when [[spoiler:Bob Parr is in the same room as Benzoate Ostylezene Bicarbonate, AKA 'Bob', made even more difficult due to blob-Bob's stupidity]].

* CollapsingLair: Yokai's lair on Akuma Island ends up collapsing due to damage sustained by the fight with him [[spoiler: and the Gorg]].

* EvilCannotComprehendGood: [[spoiler: Smek]] is flabbergasted by the heroes being willing to keep fighting [[spoiler: the Gorg]], even when it's clear they can't win.
