* AdaptationalSexuality: Uraraka is straight in canon and attracted only to Izuku, while here she is bisexual and attracted to both Izuku and a good part of the girls in U.A.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Izuku has Energy Absorption, which allows him to absorb electromagnetic and kinetic energy in his body, as well as Energy Release, that allows him to release that energy in the form of blasts. A secondary effect is making his body stronger and more resistant, as well as making it so he can get by with just a couple of hours of sleep per day.
* AgeLift: U.A. becomes an university, making all the main teenage characters 18 instead of 14.
* AutobotsRockOut: Izuku joins the Battle Training Class to the tune of [[Music/{{ACDC}} Thunderstruck]].
