* KickTheSonOfABitch: The Huntsman murdering Felicity would normally be a horrifying moment, but given that she was planning on murdering Laurel, it has elements of this. When he learns of it, Oliver doesn't even feel inclined to avenge her, only keeps an eye out for the Huntsman because of the threat he poses to everyone else.

In this timeline, they join the Legends together and thus their friendship develops much faster, especially after the visit to [[spoiler:Starling City 2046, and TheReveal that ''Barry'' is Chronos, prompting Sara to try and break through his programming. A lot of their interactions also have hints of ShipTease between them, which eventually sees a RelationshipUpgrade]].

* CallingTheOldManOut: After Quentin gives Laurel a cruel TheReasonYouSuckSpeech, she tears into him over his crappy treatment of her. Followed by an ArmorPiercingSlap.

* ArmorPiercingSlap: Sara gives one to Thea after the girl goes into bitch mode again during training.

* {{Shopkeeper}}: As a way to make up for getting her shot, Oliver helps Sara open a flower shop in the Glades, which also serves as a cover for his new headquarters, the Quiver. After Sara joins the Legends, Thea is put in charge of the shop with Roy as her stockboy. She later leaves it to Laurel and Thea entirely after moving with Barry to Central City, electing to become a doctor instead.

* AdultFear:
** Laurel gets attacked in her first apartment three times by the thirtieth chapter. After the third time, all of her loved ones outright demand she move to a more secure building, and at this point she can't help but agree with them and does exactly that.
** Once Laurel finds out what really happened to Sara in the last five years, her anger at her sister quickly disappears and it becomes obvious she just wants Sara home. That desire only grows even more after she finds out about the League, and her parents are very much the same once she fills them in. Quentin in particular reacts badly after Sara tells him she was a member of the League, remembering that its full name is the League of ''Assassins''.
** Oliver drops everything to search for Thea after he finds out she ran away from home. It's also what prompts him to finally reach out to Emiko.
** After the Undertaking is exposed, reactions of this nature occurred throughout not just Starling City, but the ''entire world''.
*** Kazumi Adachi realizes that if it hadn't been for Oliver, her and her daughter would've been victims of the Undertaking. She's also plagued by the idea that if Malcolm had found out about them earlier, he could've used the Adachis to force Robert to play along with this instead of fighting against it, which led to his death, like he had used Thea to force Moira to do the same and take Robert's place.
*** Dinah Lance, who not only knew Malcolm but considered him a friend, is understandably angry and horrified because that means her 'friend' was responsible for Sara's trauma. She and Quentin are also terrified for their daughters, as both currently work in the Glades.
*** After the bulletin is announced, Sara tells her customers that whatever bouquets they're holding are free and to go home and hug their families close, like she is about to.
** Oliver is horrified to see that Malcolm found out and kidnapped William and Samantha. In the aftermath, the two are sent into witness protection with new names so no one can use them against Oliver ever again.
** Laurel is hit with nightmares after learning about her death in the previous timeline, and finding out about Felicity's plans to murder her doesn't help matters. She begins to over-train out of the fear of dying young and Sara has to talk some sense into her.
** Deconstructed in the case of Tommy, who shows us what happens when a naive individual tries to correct such a fear, and instead ends up making everything worse.
** Quentin is hit with this hard when he sees the special bulletin about Amnesty Bay and can see Laurel running around onscreen, about to be in the midst of what assuredly will be a battle. Then she develops superpowers during said battle, basically guaranteeing she'll become a vigilante like Oliver. He later has a breakdown when Laurel officially joins the Justice League and becomes a public hero like Oliver.
** If it hadn't been for Laurel, both Thea and Emiko would've watched their brother die on live television.
** [[spoiler:The Legends are horrified to find out Barry is Chronos, as it means that their kind and compassionate friend has been brainwashed and warped by the Time Masters into their personal assassin]].
** Clark is infuriated when he realizes that, when Earth-X invades Earth, they'll be going after [[spoiler:Earth-1 Kara since it's unlikely they'll meet Earth-38 Kara in this timeline]].
** When Oliver reveals that she became a substance abuser in the last timeline, Laurel immediately asks him to get rid of all the alcohol in their home.
