As the fic is set during the events of ''Diamond is Unbreakable'', which takes place three years before ''Vento Aureo'', Ghiacchio is still a member of Passione's hitman squad.

* DeathByAdaptation: Thanks in part to their early appearances, [[spoiler:Ghiaccio and Carne both die before they would in Vento Aureo. Ghiaccio is killed by Irina while she was defending Bruno, and Carne allowed himself to die against Xenovia so Notorious B.I.G. could attack her, only for Okuyasu to erase it with The Hand.]]

* AntiMagic / NoSell: Stands are basically immune to ''direct'' attack magic such as Riser's Fire or Akeno's Lightning, this is one of the reasons that stand users are terrifying to the Devil/Angel Community.

However, after Issei gets Josuke to spare her a second time, and Josuke saves her from a mortal wound dealt by Kokabiel, she has a legitimate change of heart and undergoes a HeelFaceTurn.
** Bruno, though {{downplayed|Trope}}. In canon, Bruno served as TheDragon to Polpo, having joined Passione to receive protection from the gang members who attempted to kill his father, and, with the aid of his own group and Giorno, intended to usurp Polpo and become a Capo, then identify the leader of Passione, usurp him, and use Passione to make Italy a better place. Here, he is a member of the Catholic Church, which was only vaguely alluded too by his soul ascending to Heaven at the series' end, but as a full fledged exorcist and TheMentor to Irina and Xenovia.

** Akira Otoishi, but {{Downplayed|Trope}}. In canon, he was a BigBadWannabe responsible for Keicho's death and tried to kill Joseph, but the most he ever did was steal and experiment on some rats with the Stand Arrow. Here, he's [[spoiler:Myrcella Lucifuge's]] Queen, and an active enemy to both the Joestars and the Occult Research Club.

* BaitAndSwitch: Wanting to be able to participate in the rating game in order to help his friends, Josuke offers himself to Rias to become part of her Peerage. [[spoiler: Next chapter has her promptly turn him down, because he's making a rash decision out of heated emotions rather than completely of his own will]].
