** This has proven to be a rather common antagonist ability in ''Anime/DigimonAdventure2020'', but Eyesmon takes this to new levels. The individual bat-creatures that form its Scatter Mode being able to fire these from the shadows. While they prove to be too uncoordinated to turn it into a proper BeamSpam, Eyesmon's merged form is able to fire beams from all of the eyes on its head. [[spoiler:Its Final form, Nidhoggmon is also able to fire beams from its regular eyes. As bizarre as this guy already is, Nidhoggmon's BreathWeapon is just in firing more eye-beams from its tongue and focusing them into a directed blast.]] Algomon Mega is no slouch either as it spawns dozens of eyes on the walls around it and firing beams from all of them.

* In ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure'' [[OurVampiresAreDifferent vampires]] can shoot [[BloodyMurder streams of blood]] with rock-smashing pressure through their eyes. In an extremely [[EyeScream unpleasant looking manner.]] [[spoiler:Straizo]] gives them the [[GratuitousEnglish rather odd]] name of "Space Ripper Stingy Eyes".
** [[spoiler:Stroheim]] also gets one that fires concentrated Ultraviolet Light. It proved to be [[SuperPrototype extremely effective]] against creatures weak to sunlight, and backpack-mounted versions were later manufactured and distributed to foot soldiers.

* On ''Anime/{{Pokemon}}'', this is how the move Foresight is often rendered. It doesn't cause any damage, but it does dispel illusions and reveal Ghost Pokémon while making them vulnerable to Normal and Fighting attacks.

''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars'' usually makes it Mazinger's weakest attack (when it's included at all), but ''Anime/ShinMazinger'' turns it into a WaveMotionGun.

Using this attack at ''far less than'' full strength can put {{Mons}} of higher levels in their place (and a Digimon being able to take on a higher-leveled one is ''extremely'' rare. If you don't count the clear WorfHadTheFlu situations, you can count on one hand the times it's happened in franchise history. Dusky was something of a GameBreaker.)
