Authority Equals Asskicking has been renamed.

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Fantasy Hike goes nuts on this trope. Frank Tigran, the first King of Yuren and the one who first unified the kingdom form the warring states. Turns out, also one of the strongest men to ever live.
** Ivenhaar Tigros: liege Lord of Palpin and Warden of The South turned most skilled swordsman and martial artist to ever live.
** Finn Oshale, as liege Lord of Otelle, also an incredibly skilled martial artist as ivenhaar's student.
** Ozeraar and Jackwell Tigros, descendants of Ivenhaar's, also both the Grande masters of Xi Ken martial arts in their respective eras.
** And last but not least, Ogunwe. The most powerful being in the known Fantasy Hike universe with complete control over ''probability'', known in his youth (about 700 years ago) as Ogunwe the Great, the King of the then unified Botswae Isles.

* BigOlEyebrows: Too many to count. Basically all the older dwarves.
** Well, either that or no eyebrows at all.

Badass Mustache and Badass Beard are being merged into Manly Facial Hair. Examples that don't fit or are zero-context are removed. To qualify for Manly Facial Hair, the facial hair must be associated with masculinity in some way. Please read the trope description before readding to make sure the example qualifies.

* BadassBeard : Most dwarves, particularly the Stubby Buddies.
** Ogunwe sports fine example, which also doubles as a WizardBeard.

Cut trope. Can't tell if its replacement trope or any others are applicable.

* BiggerBad: Subverted. Although Horok is much older and considers himself the true scourge of all life, he is in fact not as powerful or even as evil as Koru.

->''Become the Mage of Pear.''

In the mystical kingdom of Yuren, the Dungeon Master didn't have the heart to say no when the first ever player of the game decided to be a Paladin [[{{Bestiality Is Depraved}} Beastophile]] and engage in gross sexual intercourse with his horse, Bradley. This was the birth of Paladins and Bradley.

Now, that game has become ''''Fantasy Hike'''', an only marginally less immature TabletopRPG. One Dungeon Master has a map, a notepad document open with character information, dice, and players. There is nothing else, every interaction is completely formulated by the choices of the players and the arbitrary choices made by the DM to assign different events to different rolls of the dice.

For this reason, the game tends to veer more on the bizarre side, due to the tendency of the players to push the ridiculousness of their actions to extremes in order to test the patience of the DM.
----
!!This game provides examples of:
* AerithAndBob: This varies wildly, from the legendary hero "Ivenhaar Tigros" to his great grandfather, the legendary King "Frank Tigran".
* TheAgeless: The nine Celestials. Although some, like Giru and Horok appear haggard, it's implied that this is due to their own shenanigans involving poison gas and incredibly bright lights, respectively.
** Applies somewhat to Ogunwe, who appears old, but not in relation to his real age of 700. He is a human that took around 60 years to reach a sufficiently enlightened state to halt his own aging.
* AllTrollsAreDifferent: Depending on region, trolls can be gigantic fury menaces with tusks (arctic), silverback sized hairless ugly menaces (mountain) or stinky mini blank lookalikes (swamp).
* AlliterativeFamily: Very fashionable for dwarves, most notibly the Stubby Brothers.

* BackFromTheDead: Koru, and Ivenhaar if you count his horrible ghost form.
* {{Backstory}}: Oh boy, there's backstory.
* BadassAdorable: The Elves. Unlike their incarnations in the majority of fantasy, thet are around 2 foot tall and are basically ChristmasElves. They are also highly profcient with magic as well. Until they all died out that is. [[spoiler:Except not really though.]]
* BadassBeard : Most dwarves, particularly the Stubby Buddies.
** Ogunwe sports fine example, which also doubles as a WizardBeard.
* BadassFamily: House Tigros. They have had 3 seperate members of their lineage serve as Xi Ken Grande Masters, with countless others practising it.
** House Tigran to an extent as well. Though the OG Badass Family historically, as the Kings of Yuren, recent generations have seen a shift to a pampered lot of chubby babies.
* BadassGrandpa: Ogunwe.
** To an extent, King Frank I, as despite him never appearing as an old man in the adventure, he is the actual Great grandfather of Ivenhaar Tigros.
* BagOfHolding: An unspoken agreement that anyone can carry any ammount of matter as long as it's in a bag and not in their pouch exists. You want to carry the corpse of that Sea Giant? Eeeeh, I guess it's okay.
* BeneathTheEarth: The dwarven Kingdom under Mt. St. Hammerstein, Elma's Gaff, and the vast network that is the Cat-ocombs.
* {{BFG}}: Some of the more powerful weapons of grenadiers, and especially the weapons that Delmar the Gunsmith can pull from his [[{{Bag Of Holding}} Trenchcoat Pockets]].
( {{BFS}} : Koru's Sword is roughly nine feet long.
* BigBad: Koru. Was always Horok in the ancient past, but he's a) Imprisoned and b) Not as evil or powerful as Koru.
* BiggerBad: Subverted. Although Horok is much older and considers himself the true scourge of all life, he is in fact not as powerful or even as evil as Koru.
* BigOlEyebrows: Too many to count. Basically all the older dwarves.
** Well, either that or no eyebrows at all.
* TheChosenOne: Those touched by The Comet are considered this, but it's
* DarkIsNotEvil: While Koru and Erog, two of the main villains of Fantasy Hike, are primarily Umbramancers, there are also many aspiring wizards tha frequently delve into the art of shadow magic while also being upstanding members of society.
** Ivenhaar, the most Lawful Good hero in the history of Yuren, appears as a horrifying ghast to the user of the Blade Ruby in order to teach them how to use it. He continues to a be a ''real'' nice guy.
* ElementalEmbodiment: Numerous Golems and Atronach fit this trope, most notably Pitzalt, a hulking monster made of nothing but flames.
* ElementalPowers: There is a school of magic for each of the nine Celestials, each with branches of offensive magic.
* GlassCannon: Characters like Delmar that use {{BFG}} weapons, but are themselves completely unarmoured, and stick thin to boot. [[{{Trigun}} Ahem]].
* GlobalCurrency: Gold.
* GodIsEvil: The closest being to Gods in the Fantasy Hike universe, the Celestials, have a number of evil beings in their ranks. In fact of the nine in existence, Horok, Erog, Giru and Brei are all Evil, while Hamysch can only be described as neutral at best.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Gretel The Massive uses a giant bell (larger than she is) on a rope as a flail.
* InevitableTournament: Basically every class of a character has some sort of tournament that can join, and the ALWAYS DO.
** If you are a hand to hand fighter, expect wrestling. What's that? You're not a wrestler? You don't know what a supleEXPECT WRESTLING.
* KnightTemplar: Horok sees himself as an enemy of the darkness, and a champion of light. Apparently this is what justifies his habit of incinerating people with bursts of white laser.
* MoneySpider: Subverted. Many an adventurer has delved into stomach of a giant for items and found a bag of gold, only for the DM to reveal when they decide to spend it that the stomach acid has turned it to much and besides it's all stick together anyway.
* Really700YearsOld: Ogunwe, Ivenhaar, Delmar and Koru are all literally 700 years old. Strictly speaking Ogunwe is the only that actually applies to this trope, as Ivenhaar is undead and Delmar and Koru don't look at all human.
* TakingYouWithMe: When Ivenhaar and Koru fought, they both impaled each other at exactly the same moment, Koru instantly dying due to the impaling of his artificial crystalline heart and Ivenhaar dying a few hours later in a medical tent.
* TooAwesomeToUse: Not applied to items, but considering the awesome power of characters like Koru, Ivenhaar, Delmar and most notably Ogunwe, and that these characters were once in the control of players, the Dungeon Master had to implement Too Awesome To Use on their characters.
* UnfortunateNames: Welcome to Fantasy Hike, set in the Kingdom of Yuren.
* WideOpenSandbox: No one is obligated to do anything. Most notable example is the largely forgotten player character Dinkleberg, who decided that instead of question he was going to settle down in Caston and set up a successful chain of brothels.
* WizardBeard: Ogunwe's beautiful grey Christmas Tree beard.
