* Creator/LilyOrchard delisted a few videos in January 2024 which she either felt were unjust in their criticisms and were causing too much trouble to be worth remaining up.

Looking back on it, Orchard now views such attacks as "taking out [her] anger at many other things in [her] own personal life onto something that flat-out cannot be hurt" by her words. She initially delisted the video in January 2024, feeling that the video only fueled harassment towards herself, her friends and family, and enabled a parasocial hatred towards the series as a whole. However, she relisted the video a day later, citing continued harassment over the video regardless of what she did and no longer feeling the need to placate the ''SU'' fandom as her primary reasons for doing so.
** Orchard made two videos covering WebVideo/ContraPoints, but Orchard also took them down in January 2024. As such, Orchard came to "despise the way even mild criticism of creators gets fed into the Platform/YouTube Drama ecosystem" while adding that she doesn't want to be a part of it in any way, and that she despises the videos she made for contributing to it.

* Serris, the creator of the ''Roleplay/DarwinsSoldiers'' universe ''hates'' the rebooted Furtopia RP and he seems very loath to discuss the original RP, which originated on Furtopia.. In fact he has this to say:

* WebAnimation/JoCat isn't fond of the original "A Crap Guide to [[TabletopGames/DungeonsAndDragons D&D]] - Cleric" video because he had gotten so many things wrong about it. The first version became unlisted, with it being replaced by a second edition that had an entirely new, more accurate script that includes [[SelfDeprecation a partial potshot at himself]] for [[UnderestimatingBadassery assuming the class is solely based around healing rather than being a borderline game-breaking jack-of-all-trades in 5E]].

And of course, he's fully aware of how memed whole 9/11 thing became.

On January 24th, 2024, Lily delisted the video entirely, feeling it has only fueled harrassment towards herself, her friends and family, and enabled a parasocial hatred towards the series as a whole. Lily stated any attempts to reupload the video will be struck down.

*** And the most shameful of all: the trope PaedoHunt was first launched with the name '''All Pedophiles Are Child Molesters'''. This caused actual pedophiles to discover the wiki and mistakenly think that it was a haven for them, dramatically increasing the amount of {{Squick}} on the pages (especially those that heavily mention children) and ultimately leading to Archive/TheSecondGoogleIncident, which [[ForWantOfANail changed the culture of the wiki ever since]].

* In the comments for the ''WebVideo/{{Projector}} review of ''Film/CosmicSin'', Mathew Buck apologises for his harsh comments towards Creator/BruceWillis.

*** UnsettlingGenderReveal used to be named '''Dropped A [[Characters/GuiltyGearXX Bridget]] On Him'''. Not only is this trope name [[Administrivia/EverythingsWorseWithSnowclones a snowclone of]] DroppedABridgeOnHim, [[Administrivia/EverythingsWorseWithSnowclones a completely unrelated trope, for no reason,]] but [[Administrivia/ClearConciseWitty it also doesn't make grammatical sense for the sake of the pun (how do you "drop" a person on someone?)]]. On top of that, [[Administrivia/TropeNamerSyndrome it only works if you are familiar with the fact that]] the character Bridget from ''VideoGame/GuiltyGear'' used to frequently get mistaken for a woman back when she identified as a man. ''Then'', on top of ''all'' this, Bridget came out as a transgender woman in ''VideoGame/GuiltyGearStrive'', meaning even if the trope name had persisted it would have had huge UnfortunateImplications attached to it. All in all, the trope name is a perfect summation of everything wrong with early trope naming culture and is a grim reminder of the less regulated days of the site.

** Some tropes, while otherwise perfectly innocuous, used to have names that are generally considered stupid now. Most can be found on the Administrivia/RenamedTropes and Administrivia/PermanentRedLinkClub pages, but there are three that stand out:

* A minor example with Jonathan Edelstein, the creator of the Website/AlternateHistoryDotCom story ''Literature/MaleRising''. While he still loves the story overall, he [[https://www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/mal%C3%AA-rising.226788/page-372#post-23083233 believes]] that, looking back on the history of the 2010s, he "may have {{Mary Sue}}d this universe a bit" when he started writing it in 2012, particularly with regards to how its social, cultural, and political changes often went unchallenged in-story and faced little pushback once they were implemented. He said that, had he written it today, it wouldn't have been outright {{dystopia}}n and would've ended in much the same optimistic place that the finished timeline did, but it would've taken a far more difficult and strife-filled path to get there, with more emphasis on the conservative and reactionary opposition to the changes brought. Stylistically, he also would've written more narrative vignettes and fewer history book-style excerpts, on the grounds of ShowDontTell.

* None of the LetsPlay/{{Yogscast}} members (specifically Lewis, LetsPlay/SimonLane, LetsPlay/{{Sips}}, LetsPlay/{{Sjin}} and LetsPlay/DuncanJones) who worked on the [[WebVideo/YogscastMinecraftSeries Jaffa Factory series]] are really fond of the bee breeding and power supply part of it. In part 7 of [=MoonQuest=], Simon explicitly says that once the Jaffa Cakes started being shipped onto the truck, the series after that got "really boring". They've said that if they can find a way to breathe life back into the series and freshen it up, they will, but tell us not to hold our breath. [[spoiler:They go back to the factory in Episode 96 of Moonquest]].

** Sjin ultimately decided to wrap up ''Cornerstone'' because he felt that the show was running out of steam, in no small part reflected by the declining number of views for all channels bar LetsPlay/{{Strippin}} and Hat Films.

* ''WebVideo/JsReviews'' has redone several of his earliest videos (In the case of the original [[Franchise/{{SlyCooper}} Sly cooper trilogy,]] he did it ''twice'') because of this. In most cases it was because of his own admitted inexperience in his earliest years, but in other cases it was because he felt like the video was too pretentious, or was trying to be too much of a ''CausticCritic'' to give a satisfiying evaluation of the subject matter on said video. The most notable cases of this are his reviews of ''Videogame/MegamanX3'' and ''especially'' ''Videogame/SlyCooperThievesInTime''

* LetsPlay/{{Markiplier}} is not fond of the video where he showed how to [[ShakingTheRump twerk]], to the point where in an interview with ''WIRED'', he said that it's one of the biggest regrets he's done on the channel.

* WebVideo/JoCat isn't fond of the original ''A Crap Guide to D&D - Cleric'' video because he had gotten so many things wrong about it.

* WebVideo/WatchMojo.com seems to regret putting ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'', which is generally considered Creator/DisneyChannel's best cartoon on its "Top 10 Hated Disney Animated Shows" list with the flimsy reasoning of the show's BlackComedy. Many viewers and fans cried foul and called [=WatchMojo=] hypocrites for using that as the only reason why while simultaneously praising ''WesternAnimation/InvaderZim'' despite the latter's ''[[WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids far]]'' more twisted sense of humor. Lampshaded in the ''Top 10 Cartoon Shows of the 2010s" video where the narrator says: "Let's pretend this never made [=WatchMojo=]'s "Top 10 Hated Disney Animated Shows List"...".
