Julian Dean Chavasse Orchard, (3 March 1930 -- 21 June 1979), was a British actor best known for his roles in the ''Film/CarryOnSeries''.

His drama education came at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. By The60s, he was popping up in small roles in many a British comedy film, including {{Uncredited Role}}s in Norman Wisdom films ''On the Beat'' and ''A Stitch in Time''. From 1967 to 1971, he appeared in four ''Film/CarryOn'' films, with his biggest role being his final - the campy Duc de Pincenay in ''Film/CarryOnHenry''.

The same year as ''Henry'', Orchard played Cornelius Button in ''Grasshopper Island'', Mr. Pettigrew in ''Whack-O!'' ([[TheOtherDarrin taking over the role]] first played by Arthur Howard), and did {{Pantomime}} with Creator/TerryScott over the Christmas season.
