On October 26, 2016, parent company [[http://www.awn.com/news/rainmaker-entertainment-acquires-frederator-rebranding-wow Frederator Networks, Inc. was purchased by]] Canadian studio Creator/RainmakerEntertainment. Frederator Networks now serves as a subsidiary as part of the holding company WOW! Unlimited Media, which is run by Michael Hirsh, founder of Creator/{{Nelvana}} and Cookie Jar Entertainment. Fred Seibert would stay on board as chief creative officer.
