!!The Main Protagonists
* Holly takes several cues from the player character (kid from another region, taking on the Pokémon League, and has a personal stake in challenging the fifth gym leader). However she also takes on traits from Sapphire of Adventures: both are the battle-loving gym challengers of their group, use the Torchic line, Aron line and a male Kirlia that later evolves. They also have only one girl on their team (while Sapphire's only female Pokémon is her Blaziken, Holly's only female Pokémon is her Gyarados).
