Using his family's wealth, Huber isolated himself in Antarctica and relied on special medications to deal with his telepathy. When the Scarlet Witch de-powered the majority of the world's Mutant population, Huber saw this as an opportunity to rid himself of his condition by wiping out the remaining Mutants of the world.
