Thanks to her contacts with the protagonist (if he first has an high enough Literature stat, otherwise he can’t date her at all), her Japanese improves with time.

She has a cheerful personality, but gets lonely easily, and misses her home country. Being a very kind person by nature, it's hard to anger her, but when she does get angry, she's terrifying. She loves cycling and watching BMX related stuff.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: According to the Japanese version of TheOtherWiki, this character is a shining example of this trope. Indeed, Yukari’s initial name was Shouko Hoshino (星野翔子), but because the PC-Engine’s Kanji system couldn’t display the kanji 翔 (shou), her name was changed to the current “Yukari Koshiki”. Even more memorable is that, in the game’s development’s initial stage, she was planned to be the game’s second heroine at Shiori’s side, but the idea was ultimately scrapped. Finally, there was a planned game sequence in which, when you phone her to set a date, sometimes the call would be redirected to her OverprotectiveDad’s cellphone: [[CrowningMomentOfFunny a brilliant idea]] [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot that was also scrapped in the end]].
