Jason Cottle returned to voice Cole in this game, not Eric Ladin. This was proven in the voice clips.

Jason Cottle

* VocalEvolution: Eric Laden's voice for Cole is deeper and more gravelly in ''Street Fighter X Tekken'' than it was in ''inFAMOUS 2'', sounding more like Cole's original voice actor Jason Cottle.

Interestingly, he did not reprise his role in inFamous 2 due to Sucker Punch wanting Creator/EricLadin for motion capture and voice performance.

* DependingOnTheWriter: How Capcom is describing Pac-Man is somewhat creepy and doesn't match up to how the Dot Eater would develop; apparently this little guy does not have a wife nor a little kid, or a personality for that matter. This Pac-Man seems to be a literal personification of the hungry yellow creature from his first game, who had no character whatsoever.

* MythologyGag: If Pac's moves seem familiar, they should. A hip drop, flash kick, Pac-Dot projectile and chargeable dashing attack? These all coorellate to the Butt Bounce, Flip Kick, Pac-Dot Shot, and Rev Roll from the ''VideoGame/PacManWorld'' series. His punches also share a similar sound effect to what they were in Pac-Man World 3, and he's been known to grow larger under his own volition in the original game's animations. In fact, the only move that absolutely cannot be appended to anything he's ever done would be the Pac-Laser.

Not ''necessarily'' [[VideoGame/MegaMan that one]]. What you've got here is the interpretation of the Blue Bomber from the infamous [[http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/bigboxshots/1/563441_29030_front.jpg North American box art for the original game]] (you know, the one that didn't describe anything about the game itself), often known as [[https://megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Bad_Box_Art_Mega_Man Bad Box Art Megaman]]. Not content with simply just porting over that vision of Mega Man, the one presented in ''Street Fighter X Tekken'' appears as if he spent the last 20 years on the couch then suddenly wants to get back into the action. He's overweight, bears a butt-chin with stubble, and his outfit barely fits anymore. He's still pretty nimble, though. He fights with his handheld blaster gun (as opposed to the real Mega's inline arm cannon).

* {{Acrofatic}}: Despite being out of shape, Mega Man's still seems [[BigFun more than eager]] to throw his hat (or helmet, as it were) into the ring.

* [[MarthDebutedInSmashBros Toro and Kuro Debuted in Street Fighter X Tekken]]: This is the first time westerners will legitimately be able to play as Toro and Kuro in a game; some may only have seen them in [[TheCameo cameos]] for Sony exclusive (Japanese) games and products.
* UnexpectedCharacter: Toro is barely known outside Japan, despite being created in 1999 and being Sony's mascot in there, he had only a few games made for himself since then; Toro basically grew to be a real mascot rather than an actual video game character, his being actually playable instead of just a cameo is quite surprising. Kuro was even more unexpected due not being a heavy advertised mascot as Toro, he doesn't even get the cameo treatment, he is purely a ''Doko Demo Issho'' character.

* TakeThat: Averted, though one might not expect it considering the events that transpired around the time the game came out. Some people thought his inclusion in this form was a TakeThat at the fans of Megaman by Capcom considering VideoGame/MegamanLegends3 was recently canceled and Inafune had just left the company around the release of the game. However, Inafune himself was partly responsible for his inclusion in this form and thought it was rather funny. In the end it all just came down to bad timing rather than ill will.
