one final match.

* AntiArmor: Despite using it quite liberally in his boss fight, Truestrike's skillset as a card has Pierce, which breaks through enemy Armor.
* CCGImportanceDissonance: While he's one tough boss InUniverse and comes after the likes of Reks and Xerkahn in the arena itself, he's not a Champion card or even a legendary -- merely an epic-rarity card! It's especially glaring because every other boss besides him and the Assassin are legendary, a Champion, or even a Mythic. In Batara's boss fight, however, he appears in the deck as the much stronger "Fallen Gladiator Truestrike", which is a legendary.
* CounterAttack: The card of him gets Backlash, dealing a little bit back when he is targeted with skills like Bolt and Frostbreath.
* EyeObscuringHat: Wears a strange sort of eyeless mask-crown... thing atop his head, which prevents anyone from seeing his eyes.
* FlatCharacter: He isn't given much characterization beyond being a powerful and chivalrous arena champion.
* RuleOfThree: He's fought in the third and last round of enemies Batara sends your way in the Gladius Arena.
* StatusBuff: As a boss, his entire arsenal is made up of status buffs -- he imbues all of his cards with Armor, one card per turn with Daze, and he can also directly buff one card's Attack with Empower.
* TieredByName: The card of him is first referred to as "Noble Truestrike", "Virtuous Truestrike", and finally "Holy Truestrike".
* UndergroundMonkey: Like Razi, he uses the "Celestial Statue" card as a boss, which uses the same art as the common-rarity "Angelic Warrior". He, in turn, becomes one of Batara's special boss-exclusive cards, "Fallen Gladiator Truestrike".

The so-called "first to dream", meets Cedric and the player can face after they crash-land in Golden Crown Village. She is the Frog Emperor's Dreamer, a position that involves providing advice and running errands. One of the cards in her deck, "Fear of the Vanquished", has this skill by default.
* BoltOfDivineRetribution: Trope -- she and her followers were once saved by a miraculous lightning bolt from the heavens when she prayed fervently. Presumably she uses these same bolts as a Champion and a boss.
* BossSubtitles: "Tanit, First Dreamer".
* CombatMedic: As both a boss and a Champion, Tanit can cast both Heal and Bolt.
* DissonantSerenity: In her boss mission, Tanit relates a story where she and her fellow Avians were trapped underneath a temple by enemies of the Crimsonwings. Instead of panicking, she simply prayed, allowing a bolt from the heavens to crash through the temple's stone and grant them an exit.
* EasyEvangelism: We never see the sermon that converted the frogs to her side in Golden Crown Village, but we can only assume it was quite convincing from the word "go".

* GreaterScopeVillain: Sure, might have been swayed to fight for the Crimsonwings' cause and serves as the antagonist of the Golden Crown Village campaign, but who was the one doing the swaying?
* High Priestess: Has a devout following among the Crimsonwings.
* InfinityMinusOneSword: You can obtain her as a Champion card, but she is only offered in premium Champion Packs. Being a superboss, she can use Champions of her own against you, namely TZ-530, the Impassable, Rhynio Sun Warrior, and [[spoiler:her follower, Kachina, the Dreamer]].
* KnightTemplar: In pursuit of "sweet harmony", Tanit was more than willing to ally herself with the Void.
* LightIsNotGood: Her deck is full of Angels and otherwise light-aligned creatures, and she is a powerful priestess, but she is firmly on the Crimsonwings' side.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: A lot of her cards have menacing names. To name just four, "Unfounded Revenge", "Fear of the Vanquished", "Promised Victory", and "Celesti Aberration".
* OneHitKill: Trope. Her Bolt skill as a boss deals 80 damage, more than enough to wipe out any card you own... but theoretically, anything with more than that would be able to survive. And, like all Bolts, the attack can be dodged easily with a card that has invisibility.
* PrayerPose: She is depicted this way in her art and in the statue of her at the altar where the player takes the Dream Elixir. Her prayers can apparently call down lightning.
* ResistantToMagic: As a Champion, she has Ward to protect herself from magical attacks.
* ShockAndAwe: Tanit has powers over lightning, which she uses to great effect as a boss.
* SignatureMove: Heal and Bolt. To a lesser extent, Silence.
* StatusBuff: In her boss fight, she can grant the powerful Silence to one card in her deck per turn.
* Superboss: A secret, extremely powerful boss fought in Golden Crown Village.
* TimeLimitBoss: Trope. Her deck is perfectly capable of kicking your ass on its own, but her insta-kill Bolts are used every other turn at the fastest, and her healing magic is only used every five turns.

* BadassAndChildDuo: He and Lev were one of these when she was younger, with himself as the Badass. She soon turned out to be plenty badass in her own right, however.
* TheBerserker: While he is always silent, Formos gets Berserk as one of his skills as a Champion.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff: Formos gets Hex All as a boss. Unfortunately, SNKBoss that's only the beginning...
* ElectiveMute: As an Ebonclaw, he has sworn a vow of complete and utter silence.
* Expy: An immensely powerful insect warrior who once fought on behalf of the game's GreaterScopeParagon against an eldritch BigBad who can invade dreams and poison people's minds, was sealed away inside an enormous black egg, and is encountered as the ultimate boss of a familiar locale that's been warped into an EldritchLocation through the actions of a moth-like sorceress. Are we talking about Formos Ebonclaw, or the Hollow Knight?
* ExtraTurn: As a Champion, he gets Dualstrike, a much-coveted skill that allows him to attack twice every couple of turns.
* FighterMageThief: The Thief to Tanit's Mage and 's Fighter. The fastest and frailest of the three, Formos dresses in a rogue's dark hood and mercilessly cuts down his enemies with his sharp claws.
* HealingFactor: One of his skills as a Champion is Regenerate. As a boss, this gets cranked up to eleven -- he doesn't just have Heal, he gets Invigorate.
* HeartContainer: As a boss, he can use Invigorate, which is normally the SecretArt of the Mythic Titan Atlas. Ironically, he's much nastier about it than Atlas ever was -- Formos has Invigorate All 16, which effectively doubles the health of all the FragileSpeedster cards in his deck. Have fun!
* IncreasinglyLethalEnemy: On top of all his other annoying Invisibility tricks, Formos effectively puts the player on a timer by Scorching their entire deck as a hero skill. His "Crimsonfang" and "Wyribbit Ashtongue" have some decent Scorch of their own, so they can keep up the pressure.
* InfinityMinusOneSword: The first Champion introduced in . He also uses two of his own Champions -- "Volvel, Golden Pride" and "Apex Land Shark".
* InTheHood: Wears a black hooded cloak, as befits a fast-moving insect bodyguard.
* Invisibility: Two-thirds of his deck has this skill. If you thought you'd get past him with hexbolt, think again.
* NonIndicativeName: As a boss, he's called "Ebonclaw, Silencer". He can't grant any of his cards Silence the way Tanit can, and the only card in his deck that has it is Fear of the Vanquished.
* OneManArmy: Formos is so effective as a bodyguard that none of the assassins who have ever made an attempt on Lev's life, no matter how well-hidden, can even make it into the same room as her. SNKBoss He will show you exactly why that is if you battle him.
* Protectorate: Agatha tasked him to protect the Forgotten Hero as if she were her own daughter.
* SNKBoss: Even compared to other superbosses, Formos Ebonclaw takes the cake for one of the hardest, if not the hardest bosses in the game. His cards are nearly every tribe besides Mecha and Goblin, so you'll rarely ever fight him wholly at a disadvantage. His Invigorate gives what would be an easily beaten deck full of Fragile Speedsters an extra 16 HP, every single turn. He seemingly has a counter for almost every strategy you could think of. Even seasoned Spellstone pros conclude that going up against Formos and winning is a matter of getting lucky with the right BGE combination.
* SpeedBlitz: Every single one of Formos's cards is 1-delay (fast) or 0-delay (activates instantly). InUniverse, this is his fighting style, able to strike so quickly that you cannot even see him moving. Presumably his incredible speed is why he gets Dualstrike.
* Superboss: A secret, extremely powerful boss fought in .
* UndergroundMonkey: Formos stands out among many of the game's superbosses by only using two "boss variants" of regular cards, namely "Fear of the Vanquished" (based off the Rhynio Battlecharger) and "Shore Scourer" (based off the Aqua Mantis). All the rest are cards one could, theoretically, have in their own deck... but don't worry, Formos more than makes up for it.
* UndyingLoyalty: His loyalty to the Forgotten Hero stems from the fact that she is the first person in his memory to treat him like a person, even though he will never answer her.

The Crimsonwings' object of fanatical worship, an ancient heroine who took on the legendary Bluefire and won. has set up operations in the Abyss.remains of Red Feather Valley. The so-called "first to dream", the player can face her as one of three Superboss secret bosses necessary to obtain Mortagan, Grave General. She can be fought in Golden Crown Village.

Added DiffLines:

* AntiMagic: Tanit is the first enemy in the game with Silence, a skill that disables all the other skills on any card it makes contact with, and lasts until her next turn.
* BossSubtitles: "Tanit, First Dreamer".
* FighterMageThief: The Mage to Batara's Fighter and Formos's Thief. She's a slow-moving CombatMedic who excels at healing and casting lightning magic.
* GreaterScopeVillain: Sure, Kachina might have been swayed to fight for the Crimsonwings' cause and serves as the antagonist of the Golden Crown Village campaign, but who was the one doing the swaying?
* High Priestess: Has a devout following among the Crimsonwings.
* InfinityMinusOneSword: You can obtain her as a Champion card, but she is only offered in premium Champion Packs. Being a superboss, she can use Champions of her own against you, namely TZ-530, the Impassable, Rhynio Sun Warrior, and her follower, Kachina, the Dreamer.
* UndergroundMonkey: Like other superbosses before her, Tanit's deck is chock full of powerful, enemy-exclusive cards.

-->Some cower from war, but he embraced it: an opportunity to find justice from those who had razed his hometown. His hatred united those to his cause, but even his allies grew to fear his so-called justice.
A proud warrior from the Gladius Arena, the former scriptorium of the Divine Crest angels. In truth, he is one of Lev's three closest allies, and a commander who united the Redfeather avians, the Rhynio insects, and the Divine Crest angels into the Crimsonwings. He later appears as the superboss of Gladius Arena, with Mortagan's Spellstone as the ultimate reward for beating him.
----
* BloodKnight: To the point where he became a fallen angel, as his people, the Divine Crest, are a pacifistic race.
* BossSubtitles: "Batara, Blood Reprisal".
* CombatReferee: Throughout the Gladius Arena's tournament, he does not take an active role in the fighting himself, preferring to leave that to his fellow fallen angels.
* CounterAttack: As a boss, twelve out of the fifteen cards in his deck have Backlash, which deals a fair amount of damage back to anything that tries to target said card with offensive skills. Since said "offensive skills" only include things like Hex, Bolt, Freeze, and Frostbreath, it effectively shuts down any and all magic-based builds.
* DefeatMeansFriendship:
* DreadlockWarrior: Wears his hair in dreadlocks, and is a powerful, badass FallenAngel.
* ExtraTurn: As a Champion, one of Batara's skills is Dualstrike, which lets him attack twice per turn every couple of turns.
* FallenAngel: Although he is an angel, he has some demonic features as well. This is likely because his warlike nature did not sit well with the pacifistic Divine Crest. He has several of them at his beck and call, which he uses as Mooks in the arena.
-->Batara: The Divine Crest do not believe in fighting, even for the sake of survival. And so I became Fallen, to defend those who would not.
* FantasticRacism: He doesn't like the Goblins very much, but he's somewhat Trope as they were some of his first enemies as a Crimsonwing general.
-->Batara: Time passes but the goblins remain the same. Bloodthirsty malcontents whose reach towards the sun leaves them burned. Yet strike down one leader, and another takes their place.
* FighterMageThief: The Fighter to Tanit's Mage and Formos's Thief. Batara is a mid-speed fighter who lives for battle, and can only be successfully overcome by fighting him on his level (i.e. without any magic, which he will harshly punish you for attempting to use).
* HealingFactor: As a playable Champion, one of Batara's skills is Regenerate.
* HornedHumanoid: He's technically a demon as well as an angel, and has the horns to prove it.
* IFightForTheStrongestSide: Refuses to help the heroes until they can prove their strength to him by fighting in the arena. And once they do this, he reveals his true colors and has the arena's champion attack them.
* IJustWantToBeFree: Though, as one of the Forgotten Hero's three companions, you're obligated to deny him that freedom at all costs.
* InfinityMinusOneSword: His Champion card was released during the first half of Gladius Arena's campaign. As a superboss, he uses two premium Champions, "Dina the Iridescent" and "Medusozoa, the Immortal".
* KlingonScientistsGetNoRespect: If Batara is to be believed, his hunger for battle is so alien to the Divine Crest angels' pacifist culture that it caused him to fall from grace.
* MageKiller: His deck is designed to hard-counter the usual strategy of using Hex, Bolt, Frostbreath, and Freeze. Try it, and you're asking for Batara to Backlash your deck into oblivion. On top of that, his entire deck is granted huge amounts of Ward, meaning even if it wasn't a lethal mistake to do so, his cards wouldn't take any damage from it anyway.
* MeaningfulName: "Batara" is an old-fashioned Indonesian word meaning "king" or "deva".
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: His BossSubtitles, "Blood Reprisal", are pretty damn menacing. Same goes for one of his boss-exclusive Underground Monkeys, "Servant in Silenced Death".
* NinjaPirateZombieRobot: According to the game's internal data, he's an angel-demon-samurai.
* ObviouslyEvil: He's a rather frightening-looking FallenAngel with a predominantly red color scheme and a great love of battle. Is it any stretch of the imagination to believe he'd be in on the Cult Crimsonwing conspiracy?
* OurAngelsAreDifferent: Despite being classified as an angel, he has demonic red horns to go with them. This is because he's a fallen angel.
* PoisonousPerson: As a Superboss, he grants Poison to all of his cards.
* PuzzleBoss: Batara's boss fight is expressly designed to punish any player who thinks they can simply Hexbolt him to death the usual way. To beat him, you need to rely on a strategy
* RedIsViolent: Has a predominantly red color scheme, with red clothes, red and black wings, red horns, and even ruddy skin. He's also a warrior who lives for battle, to the point where it got him kicked out of heaven.
* ResistantToMagic: As a Superboss, his entire deck gets imbued with an extremely high Ward 25, which is about twice the amount of Ward usually seen on any card in the game.
* StatusBuff: He can jack up the Backlash of one of his cards by a whopping 44 points. On top of that, he imbues his entire deck with Ward and Poison.
* StatusInflictionAttack: One of his skills as a Champion is Daze, which decreases the enemy's Attack whenever Batara hits them. As a boss, he gives his entire deck the ability to poison your cards on contact.
* Superboss: A secret, extremely powerful boss fought in Gladius Arena.
* SupportPartyMember: [[spoiler:In Gladius Scriptorium, he can give Ward to the entire party.]]
* UndergroundMonkey: He's a little more conservative about this than other superbosses like Tanit and Mythic Master Bluefire, but seven of his cards are boss-exclusive, with the same art as other cards.
* WhamLine: "It's regrettable how history chooses to remember. I unified the Avian Redfeathers, the Insect Rhynio, my Angel brothers of Crest, into one banner: the Crimsonwings."

----
* BadassAndChildDuo: He and Lev were one of these when she was younger, with himself as the Badass.
* FighterMageThief: The Thief to Tanit's Mage and Batara's Fighter.

All the rest are cards one could, theoretically, have in their own deck... but don't worry, Formos more than makes up for it.

* AxCrazy: His devotion to Lev compels him to do whatever it takes to bring her back, but he is also somewhat insane beyond that -- completely uncaring of the casualties of sinking the Celestial Vault, and unwilling to face the reality of his defeat even as it stares him in the beak.
* BarrierWarrior: In his boss battle, he casts Barrier All over his deck for a little extra protection.
* BossSubtitles: "Hero's Blessed, Yakov".
* DegradedBoss: Long after his defeat, the boss version of him reappears as a normal enemy in the postgame of Skyhaven, completely removed from prior context.

* TheFundamentalist: A fervent worshiper of the Forgotten Hero, Yakov's extreme measures to resurrect her and his impassioned offer to convert to the cause make him seem like a total nutcase. It doesn't help that he declares the player a "champion of the Void" and vows to defeat you in the Hero's name after he is defeated.

* KnightOfCerebus: Yakov's appearance in the Celestial Vault kicks off the second major StoryArc of the game, and he is crueler than the vengeful Xerkahn or the malfunctioning Scyer.
* MindOverMatter: As briefly mentioned in his boss fight, his temporary empowering by the forces inside the portal grants him the power to telepathically toss Magistrate Agni around.
* SkeletonsInTheCoatCloset: Trope. His clothes have a visible skull on them, but not much else.
* TheSocialDarwinist: Yakov professes this belief as he explains that he doesn't care what will happen to his followers -- he needs the Celestial Vault's orbs gone.
-->Yakov: The strong will survive, and the weak will die. It matters not if they are our own.
* SoreLoser: His reaction to is to curse the player, calling them a "champion of the Void", and request greater power from the portal. He also uses his newfound telepathy to throw around out of spite for refusing his offer to join the cause.
* StatusBuff: The enemy "Crimsonwing Apostle", which uses his sprite, uses Empower All and Imbue All Armor on the deck each turn to grant his deck a little more attack and defense. In his boss fight proper, he can enhance the strength of one of his cards' Empower each turn, which isn't good since more than half his deck has the skill.
* TechnicolorFire: The lantern that Yakov holds radiates a white fire that even the narration describes as strange. During his boss battle, he invokes an extradimensional power that causes him to positively explode with these flames.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Nearly all of the other Crimsonwings are less violent and destructive than he is, with several of them being outright nice to the heroes unless they're provoked in some way.
* UndergroundMonkey: His boss battle has a card called "Blightwind Whisper", which uses the same art as the premium epic "Sylph Drifter".
* VillainousBreakdown: He flies into a rage when it turns out , and he even punches a wall before he regains his composure and engages the player in a boss battle.
* WeCanRuleTogether: Offers the chance to gain power from the Crimsonwings , as well as work alongside him . This offer is refused.
* YinYangBomb: In his boss battle, he gets souped-up when a ray of light and darkness shoots out and hits him, imbuing him with even greater power.
* YoureInsane: Cedric says this word-for-word when Yakov reveals that he doesn't care if his fellow Avians die as long as the Crimsonwings can have the orbs.

-->"Greetings, knowledge seekers."

Caretaker of the Arcane Library hidden within the Mystic Library of Skyhaven, Razi awaits those who are willing to "seek the truth". She has a wealth of knowledge pertaining to Lev, the Crimsonwings' forgotten hero, and she will protect that knowledge with everything she has. The boss of Skyhaven.
----
* AncientKeeper: A more outwardly youthful example of the trope, but still counts.
* BerserkButton: Do not attempt to use the library's books against the Crimsonwings, or she will destroy the entire library to keep the knowledge safe.
* BossSubtitles: "Razi, Whisper Worshipper".
* CollapsingLair: When Malchior reveals he's found a book full of sensitive information, Razi attempts to destroy the entire library so he won't be able to use it to harm the rest of the Crimsonwings. As the party attempts to escape, she gives chase and even engages the player in a boss fight.
-->Razi: I see you have no intention of leaving the continent. If the knowledge here will be used against us Crimsonwings, then the library is better off destroyed! You have already wasted precious time here while our allies are busy. Now, be trapped beneath the rubble!
* CrypticallyUnhelpfulAnswer: When Yuriel asks her about what "guiding" people to "the truth" means, her answer is rather lacking.
-->Yuriel: Are you saying that you'll help us get farther? What awaits us at the end?
-->Razi: It is the truth that awaits those who are worthy.
* DefeatMeansFriendship:
* DegradedBoss: Her boss incarnation appears as one of the enemies in a postgame level of Skyhaven, far removed from her original context.
* Expy: Of Wan Shi Tong. She's the AncientKeeper of a long-hidden library who ends up trying to kill the heroes to keep that library's knowledge out of the "wrong" hands, but only after they get some crucial exposition.
* FallenAngel: Trope by her title as a Champion, "Razi the Fallen Light".
* FogFeet: It's hard to tell where her dress ends and a cloud of pink fog begins. This is no fault of her card artwork, as the same effect is used for her boss portrait.
* HeavilyArmoredMook: Razi herself has Armor as one of her skills, despite having little visible armor on her. As a boss, she imbues her entire deck with Armor as one of many strong Status Buffs.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: To protect the knowledge in her library, she causes the library to collapse with the heroes inside it.
-->Razi: Knowledge is meant to be shared, not hoarded. But it can also be a dangerous thing, if it falls in the wrong hands.
* ImprobableHairstyle: The left side of her hair hangs loose at about shoulder length, but the right side is done up like Princess Leia's iconic hairstyle.
* InfinityMinusOneSword: She's one of the Champion cards, and among the first Champions to ever be released. She's the first to be related to the current plotline.
* KickingAssInAllHerFinery: Is never seen out of her long diaphanous dress, but she's one tough boss.
* LightningBruiser: Not one of the cards Razi uses have more than 2 delay, and thanks to her many, many Status Buffs, they all hit hard. This also applies to her as a Champion, being a quick 1-delay card with an absolutely beastly high Empower skill.
* MeaningfulName: Her name is derived from the Archangel Raziel, who is said to have granted Adam and Eve a book full of all the secret knowledge in the world to help them better understand God.
* MistakenForGranite: She is encased in stone when the party first encounters her in the library, but she breaks out of it to guide them through the archives. This ability has allowed her to survive in stasis for far longer than other angels.
* Ms. Exposition: She's the one who explains the backstory of the Forgotten Hero, whom the Crimsonwings are trying to revive.
* ProphetEyes: When she blocks the party's escape route from the crumbling library during her boss fight, her eyes go completely white.
* StatusBuff: Her main strategy is buffing the hell out of her entire deck with Empower, Heal, and Imbue Armor. As a Champion, her Legion and high Empower are her main claims to fame.
* SupportPartyMember:
* UndergroundMonkey: Two cards she uses as a boss are the "Celestial Statue" and "Divine Statue", which use the same artwork as the Angelic Warrior and Luminous Knight.

!! The Three Companions

-->"The High Priestess was the first to dream. If you are worthy, you will step out of her realm unchanged."
A high priestess of the Crimsonwings who has set up operations in the remains of Red Feather Valley. The so-called "first to dream", the player can face her as one of three Superboss secret bosses necessary to obtain Mortagan, Grave General. She can be fought in Golden Crown Village.
----
* AntiMagic: Tanit is the first enemy in the game with Silence, a skill that disables all the other skills on any card it makes contact with, and lasts until her next turn.
* BossSubtitles: "Tanit, First Dreamer".
* FighterMageThief: The Mage to 's Fighter and Formos's Thief. She's a slow-moving CombatMedic who excels at healing and casting lightning magic.
* UndergroundMonkey: Like other superbosses before her, Tanit's deck is chock full of powerful, enemy-exclusive cards.

-->"His goal in life was simple: to protect the Elder's daughter, even if she was an adopted human. Sworn in both service and silence, they say that Ebonclaw could strike so fast that no one even saw him move."
A silent bodyguard of the Forgotten Hero, and the third and last of her closest allies. Fought as the infamously challenging superboss of , the reward for defeating Formos is Mortagan's Core, the final piece of the Mythic Mortagan.
----
* BadassAndChildDuo: He and Lev were one of these when she was younger, with himself as the Badass.

!! The Crimsonwings' Leader

!! Lev / Vel

-->Although this adventurer dealt the final blow to Bluefire, there was a hero that weakened him before they fought... I speak of the hero who plucked Bluefire's heart from his form. The one whose name and very existence was cursed to be forgotten.

The Crimsonwings' object of fanatical worship, an ancient heroine who took on the legendary Bluefire and won. In the past, she rallied the tribes of Arcantica against an alliance between goblins and orcs, and tried to create an alliance between the winged tribes after she was done. Unfortunately, Bluefire retaliated by erasing her from existence, sealing her away in the Abyss.
----
* AllLovingHero: Lev has a utopian vision for the world, and hopes to unify all people to create a world without war. On a less macro level, she is very kind to her bodyguard Formos, whom the narrator notes is accustomed to being treated like a tool.
* ApocalypticLog: It's heavily implied that the backwards text seen throughout the Crimsonwing bosses' FlavorText are her own writings and musings, and outright stated that the Cave Writings in the last mission of the Forgotten Island are.
* BadassAndChildDuo: She was the Child to Formos's Badass when she was younger.
* BalanceBuff: When she was first released, Lev's skillset was Invisibility, Daze, and Heartseeker. A buff to all Mythic-rarity cards in April 2022 replaced Daze with Poison instead.
* BladeOnAStick: She wields a golden, jewel-studded spear.
* BlingBlingBang: Her spear's tip is unmistakably gold-plated, and the bottom end has more gold and a purple jewel embedded into it. Her binoculars, bracers, and belt buckle are golden, too!
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Even someone as powerful as Lev isn't completely immune to the Void's influence. She is just as controlled as Oda and Elyse by the time the player encounters her, sealed away in the Abyss.
* TheComputerIsACheatingBastard: When you finally fight her in the Abyss, she actually cheats in your favor by having only thirteen cards, rather than fifteen.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff: The "Hero's Shadow" can Hex one of your cards each turn.
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: She's an ordinary human woman, but she was somehow able to defeat Bluefire while at full power, and managed to permanently weaken him by cutting out his heart.
* DramaticIrony: After she leaves the Abyss with the player and Aria, she wrongly assumes that her followers were brainwashed by the Void, and that she "doubt[s] they'd even remember who [she is]". Ironically, it was their overcoming the Void and their memory of her that caused them to act out.
* GenderBlenderName: "Lev" is normally a man's name, but this Lev is unmistakably a woman.
* GreaterScopeParagon: Her acts of heroism and her attack on Bluefire set the stage for the player to stop the evil dragon for good. Unfortunately, her followers are still around and causing problems...
* InfinityPlusOneSword: You can only obtain a copy of Lev by taking any of the other Champions past the maximum level, which will give you Champion Stones for her.
* Invisibility: One of her skills as a Champion. Notably, she has the most Invisibility of any obtainable card in the game, with Invisibility 5. When you finally fight the "Hero's Shadow" in the Abyss, she can imbue a random card in her deck with Invisibility 3.
* IWillFightNoMoreForever: After she leaves the Abyss, she decides to retire from heroism for good, and is content to wander across Arcantica. She also formally disbands the Crimsonwings.
* LedByTheOutsider: A mere human, she nevertheless united the other tribes of Arcantica against a past alliance between the goblins and orcs. After that was done, she attempted to lead an alliance between all the winged tribes of Arcantica, creating the Crimsonwings in the process.
* LegendFadesToMyth: They don't call her the Forgotten Hero for nothing. In fact, only the Crimsonwings seem to have ever heard of her. Trope, as Bluefire somehow erased the memory of her from the world.
* MindControlEyes: By the time you actually meet her in the Abyss, she, too, has succumbed to the Void, and the narration notes her eyes are glazed over.
* MysticalWhiteHair: She has long white hair, and is a mighty heroine who nearly slew Bluefire himself.
* OlympusMons: One of only eight Mythic cards. She's also THE only Mythic Champion, and by far the hardest of the Mythics to obtain without spending money.
* es: Lev was a powerful heroine from a long-forgotten time, and she was responsible for tearing the Heart of Blue Fire out of Bluefire's chest.
* Protectorate: The Rhynio who found her washed ashore are all her sworn defenders, but especially Formos.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Is dressed all in purple, and is a strong contender for one of the most powerful characters in the setting.
* RaisedByWolves: She was raised by insects, specifically the Rhynio tribe from the now-Forgotten Island. Agatha, one of the island's seers, is one of the last Rhynio alive to have her sanity intact.
* RetGone: Bluefire "tossed the world's memories of the hero into the abyss" after losing his heart, causing Lev and her many adventures to become completely forgotten.
* SdrawkcabName: In the Abyss, she introduces herself as "Vel", which is "Lev" backwards.
* SdrawkcabSpeech: She uses this as a "code" of sorts, believing that her mind is not safe from the Void's influence.
* SealedGoodInACan: Yakov initially believed that Lev was sealed away in the inner sanctum of the Celestial Vault, but opening a portal there only caused a throng of maddened elementals to pour out. Turns out the Abyss was even more obscure than that.
* SecretArt: Heartseeker, Lev's unique skill, causes any card hit by it to take extra damage from direct attacks for the rest of its life on the battlefield. This effect stacks.
* SelfSacrificeScheme: Her dialogue in the Abyss indicates that she knew she would end up in the Abyss when she opposed Bluefire, yet she did so willingly, as it was "the only way to truly defeat the Void".
* SheepInSheepsClothing: She has a fanatical cult dedicated to her revival, with many of its members willing to commit morally dubious and outright evil acts for the sake of freeing her from the Abyss. Yet Lev herself is every bit as heroic as the Crimsonwings believe her to be.
* StatusBuff: The "Hero's Shadow" can grant invisibility to one random card, as well as imbuing her entire deck with Daze.
* WalkingSpoiler: As one of the strongest characters in Arcantica and a character whose very existence is never mentioned until a good while after Bluefire's defeat, Lev's very existence is a spoiler.
