* CombatMedic: Eldegoss packs quite a punch for a Supporter, thanks to its surprisingly strong basic autos, which add a cotton fluff that deals bonus damage to enemy Pokémons from Eldegoss and its allies based on Special Attack. It also runs healing moves like Pollen Puff and Cotton Guard. Speaking of Pollen Puff, it not only heals Eldegoss and its allies, it also damages enemies and inflicts a DamageOverTime debuff when upgraded.

* WhiteMage: Eldegoss is notably powerful as a Support Pokémon for being the only Pokémon who can both shield and heal teammates. Furthermore, most of its moves focus a lot more on supporting allies than damaging foes, although more offensive Eldegoss moves are also encouraged in this game as the more offensive Pokémon can kill so fast, Eldegoss can't keep up with its healing powers.

* NonStandardSkillLearning: Softboiled and Egg Bomb each come with 2 charges, however charges are shared between the two moves, so picking both gives 4 uses of the moves that can be divided however Blissey needs.
* StoneWall: True to the species' depiction in the main series games, Blissey has the highest base HPHoopa beats it out as Hoopa Unbound, but only temporarily in the game backed by constant healing.

*** ThinkingUpPortals: Hyperspace Hole is a Psychic-type move where Hoopa creates a tremendous ring at the target location. After a set amount of time, the hole explodes, and any allies inside (as well as Hoopa themself) are teleported back to base and given a movement speed buff. Healing from the base is not delayed when warping back using Hyperspace Hole. Targets teleported by the hole can click the right stick to teleport to the location Hyperspace Hole was initially cast. If the hole is placed directly on an allied goal zone, it will become a gateway between lanes, allowing all allies and Hoopa to freely travel between lanes. There is a cooldown between each ally's travel, and they are given a movement speed buff when they leave the portal.
** VideoGameStealing: Their Ability, Magician, allows them to snatch a random berry from the enemy lane by pressing the Left Stick in the Switch controller. This ability undergoes cooldown after used, with a lowered cooldown when said skill is unsuccessful.

** * ThinkingUpPortals: Hoopa's entire schtick is summoning portals with their rings, and their kit in Unite makes full use of it. Hyperspace Hole allows it to portal allies to and from the base or between goal zones, Magician allows it to steal berries and Aeos Energy by creating portals under them, Phantom Force has it teleporting a short distance using portals, and as Hoopa Unbound it can portal allies directly to its location.

VideoGameStealing: Their Ability, Magician, allows them to snatch a random berry from the enemy lane by pressing the Left Stick in the Switch controller.controller (if no berries are available, Hoopa collects Aeos Energy from the map instead). Added DiffLines:

* AlternateCompanyEquivalent: As a defensive support that attaches to an ally for protection and to heal and buff them, it's not hard to see a parallel between Comfey and Yuumi.
* ArmoredButFrail: Comfey is completely invulnerable while attached to an ally, but if that ally goes down or if Comfey is caught out on its own, it folds like paper.

*** KamehameHadoken:Psybeam is a Psychic-type move where Hoopa fires a peculiar ray in front of Hoopa in a horizontal sweeping motion, dealing damage to enemies hit. Hoopa Unbound becomes immune to hindrances while using this move. (9s cooldown).

* LimitBreak: Wonder Wish which has Clefable wiggle her finger and then restore HP to all allies in the area of effect with them gaining more health the lower it is. After this, Clefable gains a temporary move if she uses this in a certain amount of time: Close Combat, Hyper Beam, Block, Hydro Pump or Fly.

* PragmaticAdaptation: Heal Pulse is an egg-move for the Cleffa line in the mainline games, but it's one of Clefairy's starting moves in Unite. Also, while Clefairy in the mainline games needs a Held Item called Moonstone, Clefairy in Unite just needs to be Level 4 to evolve into Clefable.
