The first Bug-Type Loomian you'll meet in Route 1 and match the metamorhphsis of a caterpillar. Cathorn is a horned caterpillar which evolves into a cocoon-like Propae and then will hatch out into the beautiful Cynamoth. Cathorn are found in many common fields and forest, making them a good Bug Type to catch. They evolve pretty early and are useful for early game but will wane their usefulness later on, yet Cynamoth's status ailment spread may be useful in later battles.

A fire type Beginner Loomian that starts out as a Embit and evolves into Rabburn and then Searknight, a Fire/Metal Loomian. They are stated to be the sworn protectors of the royal family in Roria and are most known for their loyalty. Its "armor" is actually made of hardened fur. Searknight excels in tanking hits and dishing out hits but are fairly slow. Their type combo are unresisted making them hard to resist and has a four resistances. Searknight however has a crippling 4X weakness to Earth type attacks, so they must be very wary, lest they get toppled on.

Alternative, with the aid of a molten claw, Coonucopia can evolve into Terraclaw, a bettle with four legs. They are found in forests along with other Bug-types.

** Terraclaw is also this Cyanmoth. They both started out as Bug-Type Loomains in both of their first and second forms. However, while Cyanmoth becomes a Bug and Air-Type upon reach is final form, Terraclaw remained a pure Bug-Type throughout its evolutions. While Cyanmoth simply to be Level 18 to evolved, Coonucopia need a Molten Claw to evolution after Level 18.

* NonIndicativeName: Terrafly is a wasp, not a fly. And it doesn't learn any Earth moves. Subvert with Terraclaw that is does learn a Earth move, but only though the move manual, which isn't good given its low Range Attack.

to:

* MightyGlacier: Terraclaw have great melee attack and melee defense, but compare to Terrafly, its 49 basic speed isn't impressive.

[[caption-width-right:350:Embit, Rabburn and Searknight]]
A fire type Beginner Loomian that starts out as a Embit and evolves into Rabburn and then Searknight, a Fire/Metal Loomian. They are stated to be the sworn protectors of the royal family in Roria and are most known for their loyalty. Its "armor" is actually made of hardened fur. Searknight excels in tanking hits and dishing out hits but are fairly slow. Their type combo are unresisted making them hard to resist and has a four resistances. Searknight however has a crippling 4X weakness to Earth type attacks, so they must be very wary, lest they get toppled on.

A water type Beginner Loomian. Dripple enjoys the companionship of its trainer and prefers spending all day blowing bubbles from its mouth. These species are found dwelling in the bottom depths of the sea, with Luminiani using its light on its head to eat its prey that are attracted to it. It occasionally rises out of the water to prey on Bugs types.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
* AlluringAnglerfish: Luminami is this, given its Water/Light typing. Its appearance is more UglyCute than scary, however.
* AwesomeButImpractical: Submerge, a Melee Water attack that takes two turns to attack. The first turn allows it to hide underwater to prevent from being attacked and strikes at the second turn. While this move can bypass Protect based moves like Briar Block, its 75 base power means it generally won't be strong enough to knock out, with other Water moves having much more stronger base power and they run off of Luminami's slightly higher Ranged Attack, not to mention, it can learn Hydro Slash that while slightly weaker, does more damage in two turns. Also, it's telegraphed meaning your opponent will take the time to switch into something else to resist the move or offset by healing.

[[caption-width-right:350:Tiklipse]]
The first Loomian you'll most likely encounter and the first ComMon. Twilat is your average rodent that seems unremarkable at first but has a unique branch evolution that no other ComMons have. Depending on what in-game day cycle you evolve your Twilat, it can either evolve into Umbrat at night or Luxoar at day. Umbrat is a Dark type that excels in melee while Luxoar is a Light type that excels in range. Twilat are found in many common fields and have balanced stats, making them ideal for newcomers.

The Rally Ranch update revealed another evolution name Tiklipse. It can only be obtained by rallying Luxoar and Umbrat having Luminous Roar and Gloom Fangs respectively which leads to a Railled Twilat learning a secret move called Gloominous Roar. Level it up to 22, and then you have Tikplise. It's main ability Circadian allows it to rotate its type form Light to Dark, giving it some mind games.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* ComMon
* {{Expy}}: Of [[VideoGame/PokemonRedAndBlue Rattata]], the rodent ComMon. Though it does have a branching evolution to make it more interesting.
* FragileSpeedster. Luxoar, Umbrat and Tiklispe are this. They have decent bulk but they are offense-based with no relible recovery so they cannot take too many hits.
* GlacierWaif: Downplayed. Twilat may seem like a frail yet fast mouse, but its stats are well rounded for such a build. Its best stat is HP rather than speed as one would expect from a mouse.
* NiceMice: Twilat seems cute and friendly.
* JackOfAllStats. Twilat is this.
* MixAndMatchCritters: Though primarly rodents, Luxoar looks part mouse and part lion.
* NonElemental: Twilat is Typeless, having no affinity of any element. Averted with its evolutions.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Umbrat.
* SecretArt:
** Overshadow and Illuminate, both Umbrat and Luxoar's Secret Ability, respectivily, which converts all of their Typeless moves into their matching type and gives said moves a slight boost in power. Neutralize, which is Twilat's secret ability, converts all known moves into Typeless and slightly boost said moves (however, most of Twilat's moves are already Typeless, making the conversion [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment redundant]]. You still get the boost however). Total Eclipse makes Tikilpse immune to both Light and Dark and increase its speed by one if hit by such.
** Gloomious Roar, which only a rallied Twilat can learn.
* YouDirtyRat: Umbrat, due to its blood red eyes and being more of a hunter.

[[caption-width-right:350:Cathorn, Propae and Cynamoth]]
The first Bug-Type Loomian you'll meet in Route 1 and match the metamorhphsis of a caterpillar. Cathorn is a horned caterpillar which evolves into a cocoon-like Propae and then will hatch out into the beautiful Cynamoth. Cathorn are found in many common fields and forest, making them a good Bug Type to catch. They evolve pretty early and are useful for early game but will wane their usefulness later on, yet Cynamoth's status ailment spread may be useful in later battles.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* BigCreepyCrawlies: Its height is listed as 3' 9" feet/114.3 cm which is pretty huge for a moth (unless its listed as their wingspan, which in this case, the body height is unknown).
* BlowYouAway
* ComMon
* {{Expy}}: Propae seems to resemble [[VideoGame/PokemonRedAndBlue Metapod]], with both of them being droopy eye cocoon monsters. The Cathorn line in general could also be a parallel to the Caterpie line, being a Bug line with the final stage evolving into an early level 16. The difference is that Cynamoth is a moth whereas Butterfree is a butterfly.
* GagNose: Propae has one.
* MothMenace
* NoSell: Immune to Earth attacks.
* SpectacularSpinning: Propae spins its nose to ward off predators.
* StoneWall: Propae is this. Has no attack moves and even if it does if any moves from Cathron are kept, it's generally weak. But it has good HP and great defense of both sides for its middle stage and uses Brace to increase its bulk further.

[[folder:#029 - #031: Twittle, Paratweet and Avitross]]

Your residential ComMon birds, these Loomians are found around in plenty of grassy fields. Twittle are primary fruit eaters while its evo, Paratweet are more carnivorous. Avitross are said to rule the skies thanks to them not making sound when flying, excellent for ambushes. Great for early trainers to catch their hands on.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* BlowYouAway: Learns several Air Type moves.
* ComMon
* {{Expy}}: To Pokemon's Pidgey line.

* FragileSpeedster: Great speed and average HP but frail in both ends.
* HealThyself: With Perch.
* SecretArt: Their Secret Ability, Rev Up, which boost Speed by one stage after every turn.
* SuspiciouslyStealthyPredator: Its entry states that it makes no noise when flying, allowing to catch many of their prey off guard.
* VideoGameStealing: The move, Scavenge, which may steal the opposing Loomian's item and take it as their own.

[[folder:#032 - #033: Pyder and Swolder]]

Bug and Toxic-type Loomians based on spiders, spefically the tarantula. They live in forests and create web colonies inside trees for protection. Swolder creates network of webs to detect any danger around. Pyder can be caught in Gae Forest, but only in the night time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* BalanceBuff: The 0.2.0 update buffed its M Attack from 90 to 100 and the 0.2.4 then buffed it again to 115. Its other stats are buffed as well with the exception of R Attack and R Defense with the former which is nerfed to 10 and the latter not changing at all.
* BigCreepyCrawlies
* FeedItWithFire: Its Secret Ability, Coursing Venom. When hit by a Toxic move, it negates the damage and makes its own Toxic moves stronger.
* MasterOfNone: Initially, Swolder is this. All of its stats aside from its 90 M Attack are below 80 and even its best stat being M Attack is merely average. This gave it no notable roles to compete with its other Bug-Types. Later updates avert it however.
* MightyGlacier: Became this from the updates, having a strong 115 M Attack and decent HP, M Defense but has a below average R Defense and Speed.
* {{Nerf}}: It's R Attack was hit hard from 62 to ''10''. However, considering Swolder's best stat is M Attack anyways, it doesn't mind the nerf.
* PoisonousPerson: Or spider in this case.
* SecretArt:
** Coursing Venom, its hidden ability.
** Web Shot, a move which no other Bug-Types can learn so far.
* ThisIsGonnaSuck: Its secondary ability, Apprehension which the user feels uneasy if the opposing Loomian has a move super-effective to it.

* BigCreepyCrawlies: Averted. Though big, its appearance isn't scary.
* CuteMonster: The line has an adorable face with O eyes and a W mouth along with its round body.
* FeedItWithFire: If they have the Woodsman ability, they are immune to Plant Type attacks and increase their Melee Attack by one stage if hit by a Plant move.
* KillItWithIce: Has a crippling 4X weakness to Ice type moves.
* SecretArt: Drainage, their signature ability that allows to increase the health drain from their opponent.
* StoneWall: Florant has fine defenses and HP with many healing moves but its attacking stats are left to be desired. Just watch out for Ice attacks.
* SupportPartyMember: Has moves such as Wonder Herb that can heal its party's status ailment along with self healing moves and can use attacks/support moves that can inflict poison to wear down enemies.

[[folder:#036 - #038: Grubby, Coonucopia and Terrafly]]
A line of Bug types Loomians. It's evoultion is similar to Cynamoth, a caterpillar evolves into a caccoon and then into a winged insect. They are found in forests along with other Bug-types.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* BigCreepyCrawlies: Terrafly is listed as 5′ 5″ feet or 165.1 cm.
* {{Foil}}: To Cynamoth. Both are fairly average in stats and have many status effects and support moves to wear down foes. Cynamoth however, is more range focused with many status effects to select while Terrafly is more melee oriented with only poison as its go-to status ailment.
* NonIndicativeName: Terrafly is a wasp, not a fly. And doesn't learn and Earth moves.
* ShmuckBait: Coonucopia uses its face and stingers to disguse as a fruit and uses its sweet scent to lure in unsuspecting prey.
* StoneWall: Coonucopia has bulky defense for its mid-stage but lacks high attack power.
