Videos exist online of the auctions he’s taken part in, with some people having remixed and edited his calls into autotune-esque songs.

Rum was always present at the engineers range, and became the unofficial mascot of the group. Her life was great, until her family faced a tragic accident.

Having developed his own unique auctioneer’s chant that is both smooth and possessing a catchy rhythm that creates a sense of urgency over the crowd of bidders below him. Almost like playing a game of ‘Simon Says’, Katsuya has quite the impressive track record of number of sales as well as the price the bidders are willing to bid. Videos exist online of the auctions he’s taken part in, with some people having remixed and edited his calls into autotune-esque songs.

Outside of his work, Katsuya is oft described as a charismatic and good natured youth, but not much is known further about his personal life.

Rumi 'Rum' Hackworth was born on a military base in Missouri, and from that day on the world was in a much higher danger of exploding. The daughter of the base commander, Rum was a frequent sight around the base. After learning to talk, she ended up creating her imaginary friend 'sarsaparilla', and shortly after discovered the joys of things that went 'boom' while watching the combat engineers. Rum was always present at the engineers range, and became the unofficial mascot of the group. Her life was great, until her family faced a tragic accident.

Rums family's home suffered a gas main explosion which took her mothers life. Her father was shortly transferred to Fort Buckner in Okinawa, Japan. Rum continued to grow up learning as much as she could about explosives through textbooks and the internet. Continuing to bounce her thoughts and ideas of Sarsaparilla, Rum was a loner for most of her life. After publishing several papers on her explosives work, Rum was invited to attend Hopes Peak Academy as the Super High School Level Explosives Engineer.
