Up To Eleven is a defunct trope

** The debate whether [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life#Viruses viruses are living creatures]] is very old. If you run Beitus through all of the criteria for something to live (homeostasis, organization, metabolism, growth, adaptation, response to stimuli and reproduction), only one of them (response to stimuli) is sure to apply to him. And even [[UpToEleven that]] is debatable, since he didn't feel pain when he put his hands on the cage he'd been placed in.

"Kanohmyt" is the mysterious game moderator that kidnapped the trolls into his game for an "experiment". According to Alleph, as he studied his Majesty’s encounters during her quest for universal conquest, Nohmyt is a Chamorpheon. These species of alien are incredibly smart, cannot lie, do not reproduce sexually, and are vegetarians. However, despite being not eating meat, they seem to be able to shape-shift upon tasting blood.

Vihnie is a lot more harsh/domineering than Cyrill, at times not knowing when to step back. Of course, she doesn’t mean to be cold, though in the end she ends up frightening her teammates anyway. She only wants what is best for others, but she has issues giving people that idea. She does seem to have patience with her friends, stopping to listen to what Actaea had to say.

Vihnie has a very strong sense of what is right and wrong, and follows her head first. As such, she doesn't get blinded by feelings when she fights her [[FightingYourFriend own boyfriend]], only [[BrainwashedAndCrazy different]].

And since she's actually being a fabricated persona from Cyrill’s thoughts and desires, seems to embody Cyrill’s wishes to be more assertive, strong, and willing to take action.

In Sgrub, she is the [[{{Pun}} Star]] of Space.

Rodard is dorky, talkative, and charmed with the notion of writing. Vihnie and apparently “everyone else” find his voice charming enough to never be angry or upset at him for long. He’s been described by Vihnie as basically being a huge nerdy softie and honestly not a very good fighter.

And since he's actually being fabricated from Morson’s thoughts and desires, seems to embody Morson’s wishes to be more friendly, open, and approachable, as well as “being there” for his friends compared to how he was closed off from others in trying to “get rid” of his powers. He is one of the trolls who became Beitus' familiar.

In Sgrub, he's the Spark of Time. Although WordOfGod has said none of the 'dancestors' have trolltags, he uses scriptedAficionado (sharing the sA with Morson, in a similar fashion as the canon Alpha kids) [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=961 here]].

* AndIMustScream: It turns out he and Haeton are locked in an orange bubble and ''very much aware what they are doing as familiars''.
* AntiHero: Even when under mind control, he isn't really evil—he just does things that he typically wouldn't do while retaining most of his personality.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: It's shown [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=918 here]] and [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=919 here]] that the mind-controlled Rodard, while still acting with the best interests of Beitus in mind, is more than just a puppet for him and has at least some measure of autonomy.

* FamousLastWords: ''[[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=709 I believe in you]].''
* IdenticalGrandson: Rodard seems to look similar enough to Morson that Cyrill confuses him for her friend twice.

Actaea seems to be simple in the way she thinks, focusing on one topic at a time, she gets excited a lot about finding certain things out. But once she’s going on an idea, nothing else can get by her.

And since she's actually being fabricated from Ellata’s thoughts and desires, seems to embody Ellata’s wishes to be more focused, eloquent, and simplistic. However, as warned and foreshadowed by one of Ellata’s consorts. Her wish of being simplistic resulted in Actaea in having a one-track mind.

In Sgrub, she's the Witch of Hope.

* {{Leitmotif}}: [[http://eng.musicshake.com/song/277093 Leafy Idealist]].
* MeaningfulName: Actaea is [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actaea_(plant) a plant]], but in mythology one of the daughters of Danaus, who killed their husband because they were forced into marriage. Her breaking up with Lutark is a possible reference to this. That plant was said to be named for Actaeon, who was turned into a deer and eaten by his own hunting dogs upon seeing Artemis bathing. This could be alluding to her and Seleen's relationship.
** Actaea is also [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actaea_(moon) a moon]], which also ties into Seleen's crush on her.
* ShoutOut: Like all of the other ancestors, she’s dressed in a stereotypical fashion from the 20th century, hers being the 1920s.

[[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=200 First appearance]]

(Actually, [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=1 this]] page is his first appearance)

Hoo boy, where to start. Well, first of all, he's evil. [[AxCrazy Really]] evil.

Lutark is introduced as the [[TheIngenue ever-sweet, ever-innocent]] somewhat laid back, FriendToAllLivingThings dancestor of Alleph, but Rodard already knew that something was wrong with him, and he was right. Turns out he made a deal with Nohmyt out of discontent about his god tier title, which led to him orchestrating the 'accident' involving Haeton breaking Rodard's horns. He made sure no one exactly could remember the 'accident' in itself, and it was unclear why he did that, although it is later found out that [[ForTheEvulz he willingly did so for his own benefit]] and to test his powers. It didn't stop there; he corrupted Ollapa's Seer powers, wiped his 'friends' minds, destroyed several dreams and the ones in it, took over Skaia and last but not least, [[TheVirus infected Rodard and Haeton to enlist them as his servants]].

His quirk consists of replacing the l with the number 1, and capitalizing every a. As Beitus, his quirk actually variates a lot. In the start, he wrote % for i, but later discarded this and then shifted into something more like [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=719 this]].

And since he's actually being fabricated from Alleph’s thoughts and desires, seems to embody Alleph’s wishes to be the kind of ruthless, emotionless, two-faced, and strong leader he felt would be worthy to serve under [[GodSaveUsFromTheQueen HIC]]. But in doing so, he [[GoneHorriblyRight created a literal monster]].

In Sgrub, he's the Seer of Heart. Although WordOfGod has said none of the 'dancestors' have trolltags, he uses parasiticAntagonist (sharing the pA with Alleph, in a similar fashion as the canon Alpha kids) [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=961 here]].

* AGodAmI: One of his defining character traits.
* AIIsACrapshoot: Beitus may or may not be an example of this: it's unclear exactly how much of his behavior was things he decided on his own and what [[GoneHorriblyRight he was doing because he was programmed to by Alleph's wishes and desires]].
* AlliterativeName: '''L'''utark '''L'''ampri.
* AllTakeAndNoGive: The reason why Actaea broke up. Also, the reason why he hates Nohmyt so much: because his will doesn't automatically make a way with Nohmyt.
* AlphaBitch: [[PunnyName Puns aside]], most definately. His favorite activity seems to be commanding and his concerns are less with ruling the underlings than ruling the game entirely - but he decides the latter could help with the former.
** As such, he's also a SpoiledBrat since he got all he wanted from Nohmyt (note that it isn't by manipulating him with this innocence as Nohmyt already know who he really was; he just got it by screaming at him long enough). And even before this, he rants and raves about how his life was ruined because 'it was all for nothing' upon discovering his god tier title. He goes into [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=587 a bratty tantrum]] [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=985 twice]] [[AllTakeAndNoGive upon not getting what he wants]].
* AmbiguousInnocence: Even as early as [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=204 here]], Rodard noticed something wrong about him...unfortunately he was right.
* ArtisticLicenseBiology: Look at his hair when [[LettingHerHairDown he lets it down]]. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] in that it's meant to be {{Foreshadowing}}.
* AxCrazy: He's sadistic, mad, and will gladly go so far as cold-blooded murder to revel in his victim's suffering. His whole EvilPlan and the destruction it caused was psychopathic cruelty for it's own sake, which isn't something that comes from a sane frame of mind.
* TheBlank: He, Rodard and Lutark in [[http://cotton-flurry.tumblr.com/post/160729320756/the-thing-you-expected-from-me-to-do-is-finally this]] fanart, as an apparent reference to the [[{{Youkai}} faceless ghost]].
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: He successfully made a deal with Nohmyt that turned him into a virus, but with the consequences that [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=460 the ring doesn't work on him]].
* BerserkButton: He doesn't take too well to anyone interfering with his plans.
* BigBadFriend: As he's the one who plotted everything that went wrong.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: In addition to being horrifyingly evil, he also manages to put on a '''[[TheIngenue very]]''' sweet disguise.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: He successfully temporary corrupted the system [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=802 here]], forcing the reader to get to an intermission before continuing the story.
** TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou:
*** The update of the 6th of March (one page) had been belated due to... [[http://hackbentadventures.tumblr.com/post/158005855368/due-to-some-unexpected-technical-difficulties a virus]].

* CardCarryingVillain: With zero regrets.
* TheChessmaster: Definitely.
* ClassicVillain: Not only does he embody the deadly sins as listed in the Seven Deadly Sins section below, he also embodies Ambition (as in his ambition to mess up the entire game) and serves as the EvilCounterpart to Cyrill.
* CuteAndPsycho: An interesting case. While Lutark himself is immediately liked and found cute in the fandom, he's actually a lot less cute as Beitus.
* DidYouActuallyBelieve: In the dream bubble.
* DualityMotif:
--> '''Lutark''': the 1And of tokens And spirits, c1ever!!
--> '''Lutark''': very c1ever!!
--> '''Lutark''': it's some sort of sick metAphor for whAt i Am
--> '''Lutark''': i'm About As two fAced As the very coins i'm sitting on
* DarkIsEvil: Purple is close to black. His later appearance, too.
* ExpositoryHairstyleChange: Look it by 'Letting His Hair Down' below.
* [[EvilTwin Evil Dancestor]]: His personality is a huge contrast compared to Alleph. Both seem to be relatively nice at first glance, but while Lutark's is [[BitchInSheepsClothing nothing but a facade]], Alleph is sincerely GoodAllAlong.
* EvilGloating: Certainly [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=494 loves this]] (with additional MaliciousMisnaming to boot). He never misses a chance to rub it in everyone's faces how he made a deal with Nohmyt, lays bare the sheer contempt he has for anything or anyone that isn't him or his minions, taunting they can't do anything about it since he's already a part of the game and pretty much immune. It's [[LampShading lampshaded by Nohmyt]]:
---> '''Nohmyt''': That's twice now that I'm telling you this. Perhaps you missed the info while you were gloating over your petty accomplishments.
* EvilPlan: Manipulated Nohmyt into making the session 'interesting' which apparently involves locking the protagonists away, [[ForTheEvulz all for the heck of it]].
* FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon: His innocence and [[TheDitz ditzyness]] is often commented on, and he's one of the more twisted and evil characters.
* TheFakeCutie: To the dismay of many fans. He's [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=602 positively]] [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=603 adorable]] in fake Moe-mode, disconcerting when he [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=814 shows]] [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=824 his]] true nasty colors, [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=495 rather]] [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=799 terrifying]] when he goes into full Villain mode.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Didn't think his innocent demeanor was anything but a mask worn to hide his vileness? Think again!
* FlatWhat: [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=983 Here]].
* ForTheEvulz: The reason he orchestrated the 'accident' is to test his powers. He made the other players fight against him for the laughs and even amuses himself with other player's, especially Rodard and Haeton's, suffering.
* FourEyesZeroSoul: If you count his ProphetEyes as eyes.
* {{Foreshadowing}}:
** [[FlowerMotifs Lobelia]], [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=603 the flowers held by him a while ago]] symbolize ''malevolence''. And he said that they were '[[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotSymbolic beautiful]]'. Also note, that while he says that, his quirk [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness drops for a moment]].
** The last [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=602 conversation of him and Rodard]] contains this quote:
--> '''Rodard''': <>"Your powers are going to get you in trouble one day!"<>
** On the other side, there's also tons of foreshadowing that Beitus was Lutark, or at least, a troll. On [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=457 these]] [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=458 two]] pages, Nohmyt implies that Beitus was a troll. ('like how ''you'' trolls have'...) He continues this by [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=463 saying that he's still sticking to using]] six-letter-names, which is troll tradition. It is later [[LampshadeHanging lampshaded]] [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=877 here]]. Another, more subtle one is the terminology he uses [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=588 here]] ('sweep' is a troll term for a certain amount of time).
* GeniusBonus: He's a virus that disguises himself as something friendly and benign, while actually being far from it. Think about it. He's a ''trojan horse''.
* [[GranolaGirl Granola Guy]]: Just his cover image.
* HateSink: With all the atrocities that he has caused, there's no surprise that he is really meant to be hated.
* HiddenDepths:
** Beitus actually shows shades of his former personality. His familiars are the trolls, save for Actaea, Lutark has been the closest to, yet also lost or was scared of losing (to the point that he makes a [[{{Metaphorgotten}} metaphor about it]]). [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=243 He calls Haeton his friend]], although the latter does not like that, and [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=515 is openly Rodard's moirail]]. When looking at the familiars of Beitus, is possible that Beitus wants to have them with him forever, because Lutark probably had been missing their former personalities. Now as Beitus, he has them under his control and they are perpetually serving him now.
** More evidence for this is that he says he loves to see everybody dying, [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=875 with the exception of Rodard]]. It could be that he wants yet to make use of Rodard's class like he noted when he brainwashed him, but there is certainly also something else going on.
* HostileShowTakeover: Even Nohmyt was [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=302 unprepared]].
* {{Hypocrite}}:
** He resents the alternate Alleph for his selfish plan to be the only survivor, believing that he's a weakling, while Beitus himself is way more evil. Of course, this makes him a massive hypocrite, since he is made by Alleph, albeit the one of the main timeline.
---> '''Beitus''': You're A HEARTLESS killer, ALLEPH!
** The reason why he corrupted Ollapa's Seer powers and some of the files containing sensitive information (how he himself came to be, how Ollapa godtiered, and the true nature of the dancestors) is because he didn't want anyone snooping around. But it has been revealed he himself went through other people's souls for their secrets.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Implied.
* TheIngenue: He's a peace-loving jokester, and always teases his friends in a good spirit. (Those friends, however, sometimes [[TheLoad beg differently]]). Lutark also thinks Rodard's relationship crisis is easy to solve (for example, to give her flowers with a '''[[BitchInSheepsClothing very]]''' interesting meaning) and never ceases to be idealistic. Or, that's who he seems...
* ItsAllAboutMe: Certainly this, if [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=980 this]] is enough evidence. His actions over the course of the session make it abundantly clear that he cares for no one but himself and his familiars, and he no longer even bothers to deny it.
* [[IdenticalGrandson Identical Second Form]]: In fact, that godtier sprite is ''identical'' to Beitus. The only difference is the clothing, smile and ''very'' marginally different eyes.
* KickTheDog: ''Everything'' he does is to KickTheDog.
* KnightOfCerebus: He really knows how to hold the honor of showing off some serious evilness.
* LargeHam: He likes to chew the scenery everytime he talks.
* LaughingMad: [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=468 Various]] [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=491 times]].
* {{Leitmotif}}: [[http://eng.musicshake.com/song/278670 Violet Pacifist/Anarchist]], which is about one of the most innocent tunes with a Nyan Cat vibe you'll ever hear. Too bad the character associated with this song is anything but...
* [[LettingHerHairDown Letting His Hair Down]]: [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=811 Plays this very unusually]]. Originally, he has his hair tied up with a hippie-like hairband, but eventually lets it down. This doesn't signify him becoming more relaxed in the slightest, though; in fact, it marks his transition into being serious. So you could say it's inverted, only it's also played straight, because the character was previously innocent and childish, so it signals a growth in confidence. On the other hand, it also represents the loss of his innocence. So it's hard to classify where this one lands. Either way, it's important to his character because it signifies his new [[FaceHeelTurn resolve]].
** Note that his hair down is exactly the same as ''Beitus'', and the fact that it's kept during [[ArtEvolution the spriting revamp]], means it's almost definately {{Foreshadowing}}.
* [[ChildrenAreInnocent Lutark Is Innocent]]: Not.
* ManipulativeBastard: Full stop. He starts with [[BitchInSheepsClothing putting up a]] [[TheIngenue very sweet disguise]], [[ObfuscatingStupidity keeps it up, literally, for years]], finally breaks it and reveals the CardCarryingVillain that he is.
* MeaningfulName[=/=]PunnyName:
** 'Lutark' comes from 'Plutarch', who was the Greek philosopher who evidenced that 'aleph' would be the first letter in the greek alphabeth.
** 'Beitus' is an amalgamation of the words 'virus' and 'beta'. He could've chosen this to show that he was “Better” or it can symbolically represent that he is a second copy of Alleph fabricated out of his innermost thoughts and wishes, and that he is not Alpha. And also, because B comes after A in the Alphabeth.
** Also, 'Beta' in Urdu and Hindi means '[[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Beta&diff=prev&oldid=765320118#Name elder royal son]]', reflecting the fact that his former self was the elder of the two seadwellers and thus royalty.
** MeaningfulRename here, for multiple reasons. The first was that he didn't want Nohmyt to call him by his name anymore, and as such simply needed a new one. He also got a new name representing 'Lutark's despair, reflecting how they've stopped being a full troll (at least, one made from data), and are only an embodiment of 'Lutark's despair.
* {{Metaphorgotten}}: [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=517 Compares the broken relationships of his friends with cheeseless macaroni]].
* MindRape: How he corrupts Haeton and Rodard after infecting them, he messes with their heads.
* MotiveRant: From time to time. In the dream bubble he says it's way too early to reveal his motives, but once the intermission is over, he refers to his motive regularly.
* MyDeathIsJustTheBeginning: He was [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=810 horrible enough in life]], but being a ghost managed to to make things ''worse for everyone''.
* MyNameIsQuestionMarks: Initially, he didn't choose a new name so the only option was to leave his name out entirely.
* NeverLiveItDown: Rodard certainly doesn't like the [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=980 huge statue]] he put in the palace on the battlefield he conquered, and continues to address it to him, much to his dismay.
* NoIndoorVoice: His later quirk seems to [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=491 imply this]].
** SuddenlyShouting
* NeverMyFault: Blames his failures on others.
* NoodleIncident: Invokes this. He planned the entire incident the other dancestors know nothing about.
* NothingIsScarier: From most of the characters in the comic we know their likes, their purpose and their characteristics. This is not the case with Beitus at first, until it's revealed he was Lutark.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: If we told you Lutark's supposed to be a villain, you will probably laugh at us, thinking: 'Could he ever be scary?' Well, [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=494 here you go]].
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Has a LOT of [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=811 creepy]] [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=826 talk]] in the first parts of the intermission, and eventually his text even changes to what is the first typing quirk of Beitus. Needless to say, his [[TheIngenue innocent, child-like behavior]] [[CreepyChild doesn't apply anymore]].
** His quirk is the one to occasionally [[GeniusBonus drop the most in general]]; but it isn't as noticable since the 1 and l look so much alike.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: [[DefiedTrope Defied]], [[https://mspfa.com/?s=2810&p=1046 here]]:
--> I don't want to sit on a throne all day and twiddle my thumβs
* OurFounder: [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=980 Now for everyone to see]].
* [[PolarOppositeTwins Polar Opposite Dancestors]]: Alleph is a BigBadWannabe, he's [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold actually]] sweet, gentle and selfless. Lutark is a informal jokester, but beneath that, he's extremely evil, cruel and selfish.
* PronounTrouble: Beitus has been addressed by the author and the fandom as 'they'. [[WordOfGod The author confirmed]] that they use both he/him and they/them pronouns because he recognizes he was "Lutark" in the past (and a part of Alleph's ideals), but also embraces the idea that they are computer data.
* PurpleIsTheNewBlack: Wears just as much, if not more of it then Alleph. It's just part of his cover image.
* SealedEvilInACan: [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=586 Nohmyt calls it a 'containment box']]. The author made a transparent sprite version of it [[http://hackbentadventures.tumblr.com/post/114973892658/evilbabyjailpng here]].
* SevenDeadlySins: The facade Lutark and Beitus himself embody them all.
** {{Pride}}: [[CardCarryingVillain He definately takes pride]] of being basically immune to a lot of powers, and sees others as nothing more than dust. He also can't accept [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=587 defeat]].
** [[UnstoppableRage Wrath]]: Is a sadistic mastermind.
** {{Lust}}: The lust for pleasure and excitement...over other player's misery, that is.
** {{Envy}}: His motivation.
** {{Greed}}: The deal with Nohmyt was also partially this. He will not let anyone else standing in his way and manipulated them all to ensure that.
** [[VillainousGlutton Gluttony]]: Always wants more territory to conquer.
** {{Sloth}}: Extremely lazy and the reason why he asks Nohmyt to do everything.
* SlasherSmile: Beitus' usual expression.
** PerpetualSmiler: He's also frequently LaughingMad.
* SlouchOfVillainy: [[http://mspfa.com/?s=2810&p=454 Here]].
* ShoutOut:
** Lutarks clothing, like the other ancestors is based off clothing of an era. His being UsefulNotes/TheSixties.
** Beitus shares a feature with its creator: glowing orange eyes. In regards to this fact, he does not type in his own blood color, much like how Ollapa isn’t. The reason behind the rust orange color of its text is still unknown, but its probably as a homage to Nohmyt’s eyes.
** Being based of Homestuck, he's doing the 'This is stupid' gesture [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=921 here]] (albeit not in sprite form).
* ShutUpKirk: [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=494 Multiple]] [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=877 times]], the first one with MaliciousMisnaming.
* ThatManIsDead: [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=877 Here]].
* TheDitz: Definately this. He thinks a bouquet of flowers or a poem is enough for the relationship gap between Rodard and Vihnie to fix. [[ObfuscatingStupidity Which is also part of his cover image]].
* TheGlassesComeOff: He's discarding another part of [[RunningGag his cover image]], [[LettingHerHairDown just like his hair]].
* TheVirus: [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Literally]] this, but a variation of it. He touched both [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=515 Rodard]] and [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=242 Haeton]] in his disguise instead of in his real form, and at the moment, it isn't obvious they're infected. (The actual infection is shown later.) He uses way more hidden form of this trope, but after he erases his own disguise, it's become more clear to see, like when he infects Skaia. What's also rather unique is that Beitus is able to choose how the infected will behave. While Haeton's only line when infected is: 'Join us', Rodard became a DeadpanSnarker and a MinionWithAnFInEvil.
* TricksterArchetype: His innocent demeanor tricked everyone into not knowing he started the 'war' for his own entertainment.
* {{Troll}}: He is all but the specie. He's clearly amusing himself with pissing off Nohmyt and the players as much as possible, and as the players continue their quest to get out of the game, Beitus conjures up more ways to piss them off again — just to have fun at his expense.
* {{TwoFaced}}: This imagery is often used to show his DualityMotif, like [[http://ghostly-lutark-lampri.tumblr.com/post/150704210893/i-had-so-much-fun-with-this here]]. Notice how everything flows seemlessly to the other side.
* WalkingSpoiler: And for many, ''many'' good reasons. So much of his folder was spoilered that they have been removed.

--> But as a person, who am I?–★☾
--> What meaning do I serve if I can’t figure out what sort of life I had in the past?–★☾

Seleen is very casual with everyone, however she does tend to be a bit of a smart-aleck. She’s Haeton’s only friend (at least in his eyes) and his moirail. She is trying to keep his temper in check, especially since that incident that occurred with Rodard. She is very straight-forward with Haeton, though given his slight stupidity/air headedness he doesn’t seem listen or understand her. She actually has had issues with her personality in the past, Haeton saying that she isn’t “being herself” and that she is constantly creating a new persona/personality to fit into.

And since she's actually being fabricated from Anaiad’s thoughts and desires, seems to embody whatever Anaiad wishes herself to be. It is unclear exactly as of now what those wishes are, but Beitus hinted that she has no idea on "[[SureLetsGoWithThat what to do with herself]]".

In Sgrub, she's the Soul of Life.

* BeastAndBeauty: The Beauty to Haeton's Beast: He's a temperamental JerkJock with a heart of gold who towers over her and many others, she's a soft-spoken and friendly ghoul.
* {{Leitmotif}}: [[http://eng.musicshake.com/song/277887 Navy Disguise]], which sounds a bit like 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy'.
* MeaningfulName: Her name comes from the mythological figure [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selene Selene]] who was the sister of the sun god, Helios. Selene was often identified with Artemis because of this. However, unlike the chaste Artemis, Selene had many lovers and this could explain as to why Seleen has a flushed crush on Actaea versus Anaiad not wanting anything to do with red relationships at all.
* NoodleIncident: [[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=679 Here]].
--> '''Seleen''': 'My Soul powers aren't doing us any good, then that's my fault for wasting it on making [[BuffySpeak that one thing awhile back]]...–★☾'
* {{Pun}}: Seleen's friends say she has been creating seven personalities to fit into. They're ''phases of the moon''.

---> ☄*you need to stop bein so indecisive about yourself
---> ☄*just do what feels right simple as that
---> ☄*i just want what’s best for you

Angry, hotheaded, and stubborn, Haeton sees himself as tough and strong enough to pull himself and his moirail, Seleen out of situations and solve them himself. However in his sense of power he can’t seem to notice the fact when he is being overbearing and actually sort of mean to his teammates. Even though, despite all of this he does sincerely care about Seleen…aggressively so.

And since he's actually being fabricated from Ollapa’s thoughts and desires, seems to embody Ollapa’s wishes to be more headstrong and tough, much like how Alleph is. He is one of the trolls who became Beitus' familiar.

In Sgrub, he's the Sage of Void.

* AndIMustScream: It turns out he and Rodard are locked in an orange bubble and ''very much aware what they are doing as familiars''.
* BeastAndBeauty: The Beast to Seleen's Beauty.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Shows more symptoms of this trope than Rodard does. While it isn't shown onstage yet, it is said he hurted his friends, but considering the commentor, it isn't very reliable.
--> '''Lutark''': And I went to tA[[OOCIsSeriousBusiness l]]k to him And he just grow1ed And 1Ashed out At me!
* EvilCostumeSwitch: When inflicted with the 'blight', his outfit becomes [[RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver black and red]], and his [[RedEyesTakeWarning pupils also turn red]].
* MeaningfulName: His name persumably comes from the mythological figure [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phaethon Phaethon]], the son of sun god Helios. Phaethon wanted to try his father's horse chariot, but when the horses noticed it was not Helios who was riding, they freaked out and Phaethon fell to death. Accurate, since Haeton figuratively fell into submission and became one of Beitus' familiars.
** His name looks similar to the Korean word [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xiezhi Haetae]], a protector spirit, reflecting Haeton's own protectiveness of Seleen. That the Haetae looks like a lion may be a reference to Ollapa's lusus.

[[http://mspfanventures.com/?s=2810&p=2 First appearance]]

"Kanohmyt" is the mysterious game moderator that kidnapped the trolls into his game for an "experiment". According to Alleph, as he studied his Majesty’s encounters during her quest for universal conquest, Nohmyt is a Chamorpheon. These species of alien are incredibly smart, cannot lie, do not reproduce sexually, and are vegetarians. However, despite being not eating meat, they seem to be able to shape-shift upon tasting blood.

* AliensAreBastards: As shown to Beitus.
* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: As one might expect, he likes expiriments, games and rolling chairs.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: Is also quite fond of this.
* CannotTellALie
* ExactWords
* DeadpanSnarker
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Even he is worried about Beitus' anger making the game unstable.
* MeaningfulName: Comes from [[TheTwilightZone Kanamit]].
