* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: His role in this game is very similar to that of [[VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoIV Eddie Low]]. Like Eddie Low, Dreyfuss is a [[AxCrazy twisted, utterly depraved psychopath]] and a relatively minor character who only appears in the side missions.

* MoreHateableMinorVillain: Despite being a relatively minor villain who only appears in the side missions of Strangers and Freaks, Dreyfuss is by far one of the '''most''' loathsome villains in the entire GTA franchise, with a level of depravity that seems to know no bounds, easily overshadowing the main {{Big Bad}}s of the storyline.

* BoomerangBigot: Josef isn't a Latin-American, but he's clearly an immigrant [[TheUnintelligible who can't speak a lick of English]]. In spite of that, he supports Joe's AbsoluteXenophobe policy of deporting migrants, and bellows {{Eagleland}} phrases (''in Russian'') without any trace of irony or self-awareness.

* ImmigrantPatriotism: A very dark example with Josef. While deep loyalty to one's adopted country is usually an admirable trait in an immigrant, Josef is a jingoistic, xenophobic, hypocritical bigot.

* RightWingMilitiaFanatic: Both characters are a complete satire of the alt-right. Played with regarding Josef, who is a Russian instead of the redneck most people associate with these groups.

* IShallTauntYou: [[spoiler:After murdering Leonora, he sent phone calls and letters to her parents for years, and even sent trophies of the murder like Leonora's locket and most horrifying of all, ''her severed lips'', all to [[{{Sadist}} twist the knife even further.]] ]]

* {{Slimeball}}: He's a dirtbag real estate agent who hires Trevor to sabotage his former partner's business and assault him while letting him sleep with his wife. Later, he tries backstabbing Trevor by accusing him of being a stalker to two cops.

* EvilOldFolks: While their victim Al [=DiNapoli=] is hardly an unbiased source, it's implied that the two are neither as harmless or oblivious as they might first appear. If Trevor [[spoiler: kills [=DiNapoli=]]], Nigel is perfectly fine with it, and slyly denies ever having met him at all.

* Slimeball: He's a dirtbag real estate agent who hires Trevor to sabotage his former partner's business and assault him while letting him sleep with his wife. Later, he tries backstabbing Trevor by accusing him of being a stalker to two cops.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: For as utterly ridiculous and as terrifying as his stunts may be [[spoiler: (in addition to all of the stunts that Franklin has to complete in order to unlock his final encounter)]], at least they all involved using parachutes so as to guarantee safety. But while Franklin uses them properly, it's Dom's own increasingly frantic desire for more adrenaline rushes that causes him to slowly neglect opening his parachutes at the proper time (hence why he's first found dangling in a tree after having crashed) [[spoiler: to simply forgo using one at all, which results in him leaping to his death in very shallow waters in his third encounter]].

* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: Her competitiveness and arrogance are strongly implied to be act to cover up the insecurity she feels over being 39 years old, single, and childless.

* InnocentBigot: When he accidentally says something racist, he apologizes for it by saying something even MORE racist.

* SomeOfMyBestFriendsAreX: Says this to Franklin on his second encounter.

* ThrillSeeker: As far as he's concerned, Franklin's a pussy simply because he isn't willing to constantly risk life and limb in ever more extreme ways. [[spoiler: Of course, it's Franklin who has the last laugh after Dom jumps off a dam with no parachute; as he puts it, "evolution in action".]]

* DirtyCoward: [[spoiler:Panics the second Franklin reveals he knows about Dreyfuss' crime and flees when Franklin proves immune to bribery.]]

* EntitledBastard: Flat out says that he can do whatever he wants because he's famous. Those are "the rules."

** While he's not based on any one person in particular, it's clear that the character is Rockstar's TakeThat towards celebrities who think they're above everyone else and can get away with literally anything. [[spoiler:The nature of his crimes, combined with the fact that he's a director who was in his prime in TheSeventies, specifically brings to mind Creator/RomanPolanski and, to a lesser extent, Creator/WoodyAllen.]]

* FunWithSubtitles: Josef says the most [[AbsoluteXenophobe Xenophobic]] (and [[BoomerangBigot by design]] [[HypocriticalHumor hypocritical]]) phrases ("I defend this country from multiculturalism!"), and occasionally mixes up his {{Eagleland}}-isms with ''British'' platitudes ("For king and country!" "God save the Queen!") and the French national motto ("Liberty! Fraternity! Equality!")

* TheUnintelligible: Josef doesn't speak a word of English (and although he understands it, he doesn't seem to be aware that nobody else can't understand his Russian -- or that he's speaking Russian at all!), but be damned [[{{Eagleland}} if he isn't a patriot!]]

Omega - real name unknown - is a paranoid hippie who claims to have been abducted by aliens. He commissions Franklin to find the 50 alien spaceship parts scattered across Los Santos and Blaine County, so he can rebuild the alien ship. [[spoiler:The "ship" is a BF Dune Buggy, modified with neon lights and a strange, futuristic engine.]]
