** In "Ping" he's reading, and even laughing at, a rather thick book on "[[UsefulNotes/ProgrammingLanguage Advanced Bee++ Coding]]".

* CompanionCube: She modded a Chomp Kitty into a pink, friendly cute one without the aggression named Horn. It often asks as her MoralityPet, especially when Ridley crosses more questionable behavior.

* TheMole: She joined Glitch Techs specifically to obtain one of their gauntlets for easier modding. While she almost destroys the HQ after a stint with her allies (Fives and Miko accidentally destroyed her lair previosly, adding to her FreudianExcuse), and fired as a result, she is EasilyForgiven by everyone after helping to undo the damage, and kept her memories thanks to Mitch (according to Phil, those who don't make the cut has to be wiped). In the end, she gets the schematics to make her very own gauntlet.

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: He takes a five minute break from work to help some kids on a game level they are having trouble with only after getting permission from his grandparents, and was going to forego going to the tournament in episode 1 because he didn't want to leave his grandparents shorthanded in the food truck, until they told him he could go. Tells the audience he's passionate about games but also responsible and cares more about his family than gaming.
* FatalFlaw: Insecurity. Though Five is extremely intelligent and a great strategist, this tends to deteriorate rapidly when he feels others are judging him or he's being overshadowed. In particular he's somewhat prickly about the fact that Miko is a better combatant and better at games than he is, and often adopts a openly fake tough guy act around others that leads him to forget strategy in favor of at brute force approach that doesn't suit his skill set.

* StrongGirlSmartGuy: With Miko, as he's more puzzle-oriented gamer means he usually comes up with the plans and strategies to fight glitches.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: While she is clearly human, it is played with at times, specifically in "Find the Glitch". Mitch considers Miko's mindwipe immunity (as well as her physical and gaming skills) to be inhuman and later Zahra, Nix and Haneesh also start having second thoughts on Miko when they're locked in room where they are forced to "out" the glitch among them to be allowed to leave. While Five doesn't outright deny that Miko is a glitch, he decides it doesn't matter as she is still their friend and fellow Tech. While they are freed before anything can be confirmed (the actual glitch was elsewhere), Barbara makes an ominous comment about the possibility of a glitch with human capabilities.

* ForgottenFirstMeeting: Despite having faced him multiple times in the past, Miko can't remember ever seeing Five's gamertag before the pilot episode. Crosses over into ButForMeItWasTuesday, as Miko easily won those encounters so Five never really stuck out to her.

* StrongGirlSmartGuy: With Five. Her first, second, and third option in most situations are to hit things or blast them.

* WhatMeasureIsANonHuman: For Miko, Ally is a beloved friend, but she also says she doesn't want to think too hard about whether or not as a glitch she counts as being alive or not. When Ally seems to be broken, Five asks why Miko doesn't just get a new one (using the logic that no one would know) Miko states that ''she'' would know that it wouldn't be the ''real'' Ally.

* MissionControl: He's the one who dispatches Glitch Techs to take care of Glitches and to clean up the messes they cause. This role is shared with BITT who helps with directing Glitch Techs around, arranging for backup, and dispatching specialized powerups.

* EveryoneHasStandards: Despite being a prick and a griefer, he follows Phil's rules to not go to Dabney and indulge in glitch poaching, being completely disappointed in Five when he went across the city lines to catch the pancakce cat.

* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: Is the youngest and smallest of his siblings, and the only one who ''doesn't'' keep misusing his equipment to the point that his brothers and sister's house is the biggest concentration of glitches in town.

** For example, he callously volunteers to wipe Ridley's memories only to decide against it outside the Hinobi store, letting her go with her memories intact. He had every right as Ridley lied about not helping Fives and Miko cheat their way to the top of the ranks, attempted to steal their gear and overloaded the core that holds all of the captured glitches. But he let her go because she ultimately gave all that up to undo the damage and let Mitch be the top Tech again.

* {{Jerkass}}: Oh, big time. He's shown repeatedly abusing his tech for things as minor as getting food without paying, is shown to care more about winning than caring about the victims of Glitch attacks, mind-wiped Five because Five beat him in the tournament, and repeatedly performs a KillSteal by capturing Glitches that Miko and Five have already weakened. Not even his own teammates can stand him.

* PetTheDog:

* RedemptionPromotion: While Mitch isn't a villain, he is still a big JerkAss. When he opposes Miko and Five, this typically leads to him humiliated for whatever reason. When he's ''not'' being a jerk, he gets to demonstrate that he is legimately talented Glich Tech.

A Muslim girl and veteran Glitch Tech that works in the Hinobi store and also a member of Mitch's team. In "BUDS", she is revealed to have a crush on Five.

* ButtMonkey: Suffer this at times, a rather prime example that during the Castlestein incident he was turned to a statue in an uncool pose and somehow suffered a GagHaircut.

* OvershadowedByAwesome: Bergie sticks to the low-level glitches which don't give out much XP and are considered beneath most Glitch Techs. However, due to these being relatively safer and easier to accomplish jobs, he's able to quickly rack up as much if not more XP as everyone else.

A Glitch Tech that works in the local arcade who is often paired with Bergy for missions.

* ButtMonkey: While not as unlucky as Bergy, he's still threated with little respect among his peers.

* {{Handwave}}: Her being part of another branch out-of-nowhere is explained by Miko saying that she was transfered offscreen to another branch during ''The Real Glitch Techs''.
* TheRival: During ''The Real Glitch Techs'', she fought Zahra when the two teams started fighting eachother over a group of Glitches. After they are forced to work together, both she and Zahra mention that working together ''doesn't'' make them friends. Although the secret achievement of "hidden relationship" could mean that she's a FriendlyRival instead.

* HalfIdenticalTwins: Wes is male and Ray is female, but otherwise look almost exactly a like.

* TwoferTokenMinority: She's both a girl and Muslim.

A minor background Glitch Tech in early episodes. She is later transfered to the Hinobi Store in Dabney. Becoming a member of Nameless' team.

* TheSmurfettePrinciple: The only female Glitch Tech in Nameless' team.

A {{Childhood Friend|s}} of Five and a huge fan of Smashozaurs.

* FatAndSkinny: Is the fat to {{Childhood Friend|s}} Five's skinny.

* OutOfFocus: Compared to Ally, whose in nearly every episode, Alpha only appears in one episode in season 1 and 2 each.

* {{Catchphrase}}: ''Boosh!'', "I'm Mitch Williams!" and "Thanks for the distraction, noobs!"

* {{Catchphrase}}: "Let's get furious!"

* CatchPhrase: [[OhCrap "Oh, nerds."]] used usually in replacement of "Oh, no".

A duo of professional gamers named Five and Miko, who Phil has cynically (and sarcastically) refered to as the D-Team of the branch.

* EvilIsHammy: Quite a lot of glitches have loud and over the top personality.

* BlindIdiotTranslation: Implied. Some of his dialogue doesn't make any sense grammtically or otherwise, which might stem from an imperfect translation of his game.

* {{Foreshadowing}}: His pre-battle dialogue is full of this, in line with the sneaky nature of the rest of his castle. When he says he puts his "heart and soul" into the statues in his collection, he's indirectly clueing the heroes in that the way to truly defeat him is to destroy the statue modeled after his first form. "If I fall, you may rise" is a clue to how the curvy sword is supposed to be used (as a key to literally turn his castle around). "Time is always on my side" hints at his second form, which he is able to take after the (now reversed) clock strikes midnight.
* GorgeousGorgon: He's a vampire/gorgon that has snakes for hair and can petrify people. He's also been refered to as "fabulous" multiple times.

* TeensAreShort: He's noticeably shorter than Zahra and even shorter than Miko.

Five's father, a skilled programmer who had a hand in designing some of the very first videogames as well as having a knack for assembling or disassembling code in general. In addition to programming games, Emilio is said to have been exceedingly good at breaking down digital security systems.

* UsedToBeASweetKid: His old Tweeker videos as "Mitch FTW" show his beginnings as a dorky, humble fanboy who simply enjoyed videogames and sharing player advice. Five theorizes that becoming a Glitch Tech "changed" Mitch. "I Am Mitch Williams" also shows that he used to be part of a gaming team with his older siblings before his work and their obsession with playing games caused them to separate, believing that his big bros and sis didn't really ''need'' him when he became a Glitch Tech.

* BadassBaritone: Has a very deep voice, though this might just be synthesized by his helmet to hide his identity.

* BareYourMidriff: Miko wears a yellow crop top for good luck. Averted as she wears it layered over a full-length tank top.
