* ItemCaddy: With the exception of Support Ash, each of the other three members have some unique synergies with a specific restorative item, thus encouraging the group to prioritize and donate these items to them if possible, with Cheryl and David boosting the [=AoE=] healing powers of Shemp's Cola they consume while also imparting buffs or other boons, and Pablo and the Blacksmith having better Amulet economy as well as being able to boost their allies by using one near them. Additionally, their class passives let them carry more supplies of all kinds than their teammates.

* StatusBuff: Once he reaches level 25, the Blacksmith gains the "Rough and Ready" passive, which, in addition a chance not to spend an amulet, gives him and his allies increased damage for a short period of time whenever he uses amulets.

* BoringButPractical: Where Leader Ash lacks the bells and whistles that make Annie and Lord Arthur very strong given the right compositions, he works equally well regardless of who his teammates are, as El Jefe's buff doesn't discriminate based on class and weapon choice. As well, being able to resist Fear build up is significantly more practical than frequently having to drain it at campfires due to the limited availability of matchsticks, and his active skill is the best of the three at breaking out of a hairy situation with its BreakMeter damage and ability to stumble all non-boss enemies in its radius.

* DirtyOldMan: His lecherous attitude, while toned down for the game, is still present.
* ImmuneToFlinching: His active ability, "All Eyes On Me", makes him resistant to knockback, giving him a chance to avoid being stunlocked.
* PapaWolf: He loves his children very much, and his level 10 talent, "Blood Ties", reflects that by giving him and the allies in the aura damage reduction for every member of his family in the match.

* GuysSmashGirlsShoot: All of the released Warrior-class Survivors thus far have been male characters, and even some of those who fall into the other classes like Leader Ash or Lord Arthur still have their own buffs to specific types of melee weaponry, whereas half of the Hunters are female, and Annie Knowby's Leader aura also provides a damage boost to her group's guns.

* BroughtDownToBadass: Having lost her immortality and a considerable part of her powers after the events of ''Ash vs. Evil Dead'' season 1, Ruby still possesses some of her Dark One properties and can kick as much ass as her fellow Survivors.
* GameplayAndStorySegregation: Despite being a Dark One, albeit a depowered one, Ruby can still be possessed by the Kandarian Demon should her Fear meter hits its danger threshold.

Added DiffLines:

* TokenHeroicOrc: Technically an AntiHero all things considered, Ruby is still a Dark One who fights on the Survivors' side against her former compatriots and the Kandarian Demon.

* HumansAreSpecial: If she helps destroy the Dark Ones, she claims that despite the world being filled by foolish humans, it's still worth saving.
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: She can't use or receive Shields, so instead she has a special skill tree called Aura that upgrades her active ability, allowing her to receive more souls from slain enemies.
* NervesOfSteel: Ruby takes it to the extreme with her level 10 passive, "Anathema", that puts her Fear threshold at the very end of the bar, making her very risky playstyle a bit safer.
* YourSoulIsMine: She absorbs the soul of fallen enemies to empower her aura and active ability.

He even compliments Mia in gameplay, as she's incredibly prone to being possessed due to her kit.
