We're supposed to spoiler tag spoilers. We're also not supposed to leave Administrivia.Chained Sinkholes, add gushing or address other parts of the page. I additionally fixed a couple grammar mistakes. Lastly, Undignified Death and Too Dumb To Live require the character to die.

* LiteralCliffhanger: Subjected to one in the finale where Riya [[FlawExploitation exploits]] Aiden's [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes crippling]] [[PrimalFear acrophobia]] by making him back away to the edge of a crazy-steep cliff until he fell off. Aiden precariously hanging on for dear life with only his hand stopping him from a thousand-feet vertical drop acts as the segway between the two parts but luckily, James manages to catch him just before he loses his grip.

* ObliviousToLove: Due to some trust issues at the start, Aiden wasn't aware of James' huge crush on him until Lake spelled it out in "Not As Easy As It Seems" halfway through the season. This should have been obvious in hindsight with moments like James being way too eager to kiss him for the kissing challenge, betraying Yul the moment he learned about the poisoning scheme and cuddling Aiden while asleep. After the reveal, Aiden decided to give James another shot and become friends once again.

* WeUsedToBeFriends: {{Downplayed}} with Karol as while they weren't exceptionally close friends, she considered him to be the only person in the entire camp she didn't actively dislike in addition to her [[BetterWithNonHumanCompany animal companions]]. That all changed after James caused Karol's elimination by exposing her plans in voting off one of the girls on their team, something she told Aiden in private. Even though Aiden was unaware of this and tried apologising, Karol took it personally regardless and targeted both him and James as her prime {{Arch Enem|y}}ies for the rest of the season.

* DidntThinkThisThrough: As Hunter pointed out in "Sabotage Below Zero", Ally's insistence to pull him on the sled instead of the other way around would certainly not help their chances of winning the challenge and immunity, especially when their alliance has been targeted for elimination since the start of the merge. Next, she tried reaching out to Riya to vote for her BestFriend Rosa Maria rather than James whom she had previously voted for before. As a result, both of these decisions directly caused her elimination in the same episode.

This is especially since (a) he personally requested to save the LoveTriangle after the competition is over (b) by that point her and Tess' crushes on Hunter had faded away to a solid but platonic friendship and (c) it wasn't fair for Tess since her elimination two episodes ago meant she can't have any input on the matter.

Feel free to revert if needed, but was he really out of focus? Sure, both of the girls he had major interactions with were gone. But Episode 10 focused on everyone teaming against him for constantly winning immunity and Rosa feeling sorry over it, with them eventually developing a friendship. Sure, Episode 11 focuses on the drama between Riya and Jaiden, but it's not like he's invisible there either. He tries strategizing and finally talks to them. It's also hard to be truly out of focus as the time of the final 4. Even original Nick finally got more screentime there.

After the reveal, Aiden decided to give James another shot and become friends once again.

arms when seated or in a neutral pose.
* DeadpanSnarker: As a [[AscendedFanboy fan]] of ''WesternAnimation/TotalDrama'', he tends to make wry comments over the challenges' unoriginality and/or sadistic undertones to the unamusement of Kristal.
* FatalFlaw: His fear of heights prevented him from jumping and paragliding off an insanely high and treacherous cliff for the final challenge. Even though he was the first to reach the top, Aiden hesitated enough for Riya to catch up and made him back away until he was [[LiteralCliffhanger left dangling over the ledge]]. This NearDeathExperience convinced Aiden there was no way he can beat Riya and [[HeroicSacrifice eliminated himself]] so James can qualify as a finalist instead.
* FirstKiss: As revealed in the trivia challenge, "Truth Hurts", Aiden had his first kiss with James during the kissing challenge.challenge last episode. He tries brushing it off as no big deal but was clearly flustered by it.

* InTouchWithHisFeminineSide: Not the most athletic player (although also not TheLoad), lacks aggression unless really mad at someone for betraying him, has an open and emotional personality which helps him to bond with Lake and makes him a {{Foil}} to James, and is quite [[VanityIsFeminine fashionable as an e-boy]]. He's also shown to be gay.

to:

* {{Foreshadowing}}: There were a few hints alluding to [[spoiler:TheReveal of Aiden being UsefulNotes/{{Transgender}}]] that was first teased in the trivia challenge:
** Before the [[spoiler:sex-reassignment surgery]] question was asked, Kristal threatens Aiden on exposing his worst secret which made him really distressed and briefly clutch his chest.
** While having a heart-to-heart talk with Lake about her abnormal life, Aiden cracks a joke about what is considered "normal" nowadays.
** He wears a tank top as part of his swimwear as opposed to going shirtless like the other guys.
** Speaking of which, Aiden's design has [[NonStandardCharacterDesign noticeable differences]] from them which includes being [[PrettyBoy androgenous-looking]], [[TeensAreShort shorter]], [[NoodlePeople slimmer and not as top-heavy or muscular]] as well as having what's considered a [[GenderBlenderName unisex name]].
* ForWantOfANail: If Aiden hadn't made the offhanded comment about [[Characters/DisventureCampSeasonOneContestants Jake and Tom]] being the most popular contestants online because they were a couple, James wouldn't have gotten the idea to pursue him for followers, only to fall in love with Aiden for real and eventually lead to a mutual relationship.
* FriendlyNeighborhoodSpider: In "Sabotage Below Zero", Aiden was initially freaked out by the tarantula that crawled onto his sled but found it quite harmless and lets it rest on his shoulder after Karol convinced him to keep it as a pet. Alas, this didn't last very long as the spider was accidentally squished when Karol fell on top of it during the challenge.
* GayGuyDiesFirst: During the slasher challenge, he was the second out right after [[BlackDudeDiesFirst James]] when The Night Butcher catches and "kills" him. Justified as The Night Butcher [[spoiler:turns out to be Karol in disguise who still holds an obvious grudge against Aiden and James for eliminating her and]] wanted the two as the first "victims".
* GirlsAreReallyScaredOfHorrorMovies: Gender-inverted, Aiden is terrified of horror movies and finds them tasteless at best but still watches them with James, who is an avid fan of the genre, to prove that he isn't scared. Unfortunately for him, Aiden finds himself in one for the slasher challenge where he was too shocked to do anything but brace for impact as The Night Butcher claims their next "victim".
* HeroicSacrifice: Unable to overcome his fear of heights to paraglide off the cliff, especially after his NearDeathExperience moments ago, Aiden gives up his spot in the final two to James so they have a fighting chance against Riya.
* InTouchWithHisFeminineSide: Not the most athletic player (although also not TheLoad), lacks aggression unless Aiden doesn't really mad at someone for betraying him, has an have considerably [[CampGay campy]] traits but those which stand out are his open and emotional personality personality, preferring comedy and drama movies over horror and being quite stylish as an e-boy (Including donning a wolf cut that's typically a woman's hairstyle).
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: A very attractive, androgenous-looking e-boy with a shoulder-length, half-dyed wolf-cut.
* MeaningfulName: Aiden's name means "Little Fire"
which helps is fitting given he's one of the shortest contestants and the most expressive, especially when angered.
* MoralityPet: To James as he may manipulate Aiden but had not once schemed against or voted for
him in the entire competition due to bond with Lake his crush on him. Eventually, James' love for Aiden changed him for the better to the point of their relationship becoming way more important than his followers by the time of the finale.
* NearDeathExperience: Happens ''twice'' to him during the competition, almost falling victim to Yul's food poisoning scheme if it weren't for James betraying him
and makes then there was the [[LiteralCliffhanger cliff incident]], which shook him a {{Foil}} to James, and is quite [[VanityIsFeminine fashionable as an e-boy]]. He's also shown to be gay.up both times.

that if push comes to shove, typically dresses up in emo or grunge-styled clothing and is heavily associated with online usage[[/labelnote]], Aiden isn't all that interested in social media or even the internet in general. While he does [[PerkyGoth look the part]] and has a small following on Instagram, Aiden couldn't care less about being active online or gaining followers and is instead focused on the competition and prize money. This is made more apparent and {{Iron|y}}ic when he's paired up with [[PhoneaholicTeenager James]] who sometimes annoys him with his clout-chasing and image-obsessing tendencies.
* NoodlePeople: He's noticeably a lot slimmer and
not so different from James.top-heavy as most of the guys on the show.

* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Sensitive guy to James's manly man.

to:

Aiden is a really sweet and noble boy, who has always been quite mature for his age. He is generally good at reading people and analyzing their behavior. He is an introvert and usually doesn't make friends on his own, instead waiting until others approach him first.
----
* ArchEnemy: After being dragged into [[spoiler:betraying Karol]] by James, he's this to her.
* CampGay: Downplayed. Not too stereotypically camp. See InTouchWithHisFeminineSide for a list of his slightly flamboyant traits.
* FirstKiss: As revealed in the trivia challenge, Aiden had his first kiss during the kissing challenge.
* {{Foil}}: To James, being the emotional and sensitive guy to his strategic and manly man.
* NiceGuy: One of the friendliest contestants of the season.
* NotSoDifferentRemark: [[spoiler:Episode 9]] has him realize that if push comes to shove, he's not so different from James.
* OddCouple: The two have polar opposite personalities and Aiden initially distrusts him after [[spoiler:James uses him as a cover for betraying Karol]], but he and James [[spoiler:end up working quite well together as a couple]].
* OfficialCouple: While he and James [[spoiler:become a couple during the season, they have a brief falling out after Aiden learns he was initially being used by James to gain more followers. By the end of the finale, they're a couple again.]]
* OppositesAttract: His relationship with James, see the trope below.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Sensitive guy to James's manly man.
* ShipTease: With James.
* TransEqualsGay: [[spoiler:Defied. Aiden is trans and is shown only being attracted to guys, specifically James. A post from the official Disventure Camp Instagram account, celebrating pride month, confirms that he is gay.]]
* WeUsedToBeFriends: Downplayed. Aiden and Karol weren't exceptionally close friends, but she did describe him as the only person on the camp she didn't dislike. However, after [[spoiler:James revealed to the girls that she intended to vote for one of them, something she told Aiden in private, he became her prime ArchEnemy]].
* WillTheyOrWontThey: Has one with James, initially distrusting his intentions due to his strategic nature, [[spoiler:being dragged into betraying Karol and after learning he was initially just being used by James to get more followers]], but [[spoiler:warming up to him after being saved from elimination by him]].

Ally is a girl who’s had a passion for geek culture since she was little. She has always had a fondness for video games, mainly due to the influence of her grandfather who was a gamer of yesteryear. The last year wasn't so good for her, so she auditioned for Disventure Camp to distract herself from her problems.
----
* BespectacledCutie: A cute girl wearing glasses and the only girl to wear them in the cast.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Both she and Hunter are geeks who like to play games and can spend a long time doing so.
* DeadlyBath: Overlapping with InterruptedBath. Played with since Ally doesn't die for real and [[spoiler:her "death" is merely an effect of tranquilizers]].
* DecoyProtagonist: She's a rootable NiceGirl who's heavily focused on, is involved in one of the [[spoiler:main romantic plots of the season, and is one of the most frequently used characters on thumbnails. However, she ends up ranking 6th.]]
* DidntThinkThisThrough: [[spoiler:As Hunter pointed out, pulling him on the sled instead of the other way around, certainly not helping her chances to win the challenge, especially when the LoveTriangle trio has been targeted for elimination since the start of the merge, meaning they desperately need immunity. Also choosing to reach out to Riya to vote for her friend, Rosa Maria, rather than James, someone Riya has already tried to vote out before. Both eventually add to the reasons of her elimination in the same episode.]]
* EndearinglyDorky: As a result of her kind personality and passion for video games which is also why Hunter quickly bonds with her.
* GamerChick: It's even her label.
* {{Geek}}: Playing video games is her passion.
* IconicItem: Her game consoles.
* IJustWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: Tells Tess she'd be fine with Hunter choosing her in spite of also being in love with him.
* ImpossibleHourglassFigure: One of the girls with such a figure.
* LovableNerd: As a video game player with a kind personality.
* LoveTriangle: Is a part of one with Hunter and Tess.
* {{Meganekko}}: A cute and kind nerdy girl with glasses.
* ModestyTowel: Uses an improvised version out of a bathroom stall's curtain after being [[spoiler:"killed" during the horror-themed challenge]].
* MsFanservice:
** [[spoiler:She's shown in her PlayboyBunny costume in two episodes, once via a picture from the time she streamed wearing this outfit, and the other time as a part of her dare during the challenge. There's also official art of a full-body version of Ally in this costume.]]
** [[spoiler:Much like other members of the initial final eight + Kristal, Ally is wearing a swimsuit in two episodes. She's also one of the girls to wear a bikini.]]
** [[spoiler:In Episode 8, her ShowerScene starts with a SexySilhouette. She then becomes one of three girls in the show to be seen topless on-screen, and the only one to do so while fully naked in a shower. She spends the rest of the challenge wearing an improvised ModestyTowel with a bathroom stall curtain.]]
*** Further bonus points for [[spoiler:her wearing a bunny costume being featured on a thumbnail for Episode 4, her SexySilhouette being on one for the trailer for Episode 8, and a shot of her being topless on-screen being used for one of Episode 8 proper]].
* NerdsAreSexy: An introverted gamer girl who, as you can see above, is the most prone to being MsFanservice on the show.
* NiceGirl: One of the more peaceful and friendlier contestants on the show.
* TheNotLoveInterest: [[spoiler:In spite of the initial ShipTease with Hunter, she does not end up as Hunter's girlfriend and remains platonic friends with him.]]
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: While wearing [[spoiler:her PlayboyBunny costume during the Queen challenge]].
* ShipTease: With Hunter, starting with [[spoiler:Episode 2]].
* TakeMeInstead: Tries to invoke this when [[spoiler:Tess is eliminated]], but Kristal refuses, saying they'd both be eliminated instead if she does so.
* TragicKeepsake: Her tattoo, used to remember her grandfather who got her interested in playing games.
* TrueCompanions: With Hunter and Tess.
* WhatTheHellHero: [[spoiler:She's quick to call out Hunter for planting one on her right as she’s leaving despite his previous request to save the LoveTriangle for after the competition- especially since A) by that point, her and Tess’s crushes on Hunter seemed to fade to a mere friendship and B) Tess’s boot a mere two episodes before meant she wasn’t there to witness or comment on it.]]

Connor is a man who is about to turn 50 and has had a hard time accepting that he no longer fits in with young people. This leads to him always resorting to desperate attempts to stay young and hip, which almost never end well.
----
* BigOlEyebrows: Has one of the biggest eyebrows among the cast, which are already graying just like his hair to show his age.
* TheBusCameBack: [[spoiler:After his elimination, he appears again in a pre-opening scene of Episode 9.]]
* CharacterDevelopment: Starts appreciating his age more thanks to Riya's encouragement.
* CoolShades: Wears them on his head to purposefully invoke this trope.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: [[spoiler:[[ImpliedTrope Implied]]. During the finale, after calling Riya out for trying to kill Aiden by throwing him a rock, Riya tells Connor that he doesn't know what it feels like living with no money. Instead of agreeing, Connor tells her that she doesn't know what he endured to be a successful businessman, hinting that he may have been poor in the past or faced harsh economic situations.]]
* GoldToothOfWealth: Connor has a single gold tooth. He's a wealthy businessman who can afford to buy the [[spoiler:hotel where the eliminated contestants stay so that he doesn't have to stay there after his elimination.]]
* HeroicSacrifice: Voluntarily [[spoiler:quits the show to avoid Riya being potentially voted out by Yul's alliance in a double elimination in Episode 3.]]
* ItWasAGift: Gave Riya perfumes as a birthday gift [[spoiler:before leaving the show]], which she was shown to greatly appreciate [[spoiler:even after his elimination]].
* MentorArchetype: Points out Ally's and Tess's feelings towards Hunter to the latter and gives him advice regarding how to handle his LoveTriangle.
* NiceMeanAndInBetween: For the older contestants, he is the Nice to Karol's Mean and Riya's In-Between.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Averted. He's already rich so he doesn't care about winning the money prize. He instead joined the show to feel young again.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney: A rare non-villainous example. [[spoiler:He buys the hotel in which the eliminated contestants stay so that he doesn't have to stay there after his elimination.]]
* ShipSinking: Connor [[spoiler:doesn't approve of Riya's FaceHeelTurn after finally noticing it and refuses to help her in the finale, with her also claiming she doesn't need him, thus ending their initial ShipTease.]]
* ShipTease: With Riya.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: [[spoiler:Connor gets eliminated early, but regardless, his presence on the show has not been forgotten by the characters.]]
* TokenAdult: He is one of a few characters who aren't around the age of teenagers, which is part of why he feels out of touch with other players and bonds with Riya.
* UnclePennybags: He is stated to be rich, but he's an all-around nice guy to everyone.

Hunter is a usually closed-off guy in his own world who loves games of all kinds. Chess, Rubik’s cubes, Monopoly, video games- all types of games are his passion and take up a lot of his time.
----
* BerserkButton: His friends getting hurt. [[spoiler:He's especially motivated to face the Butcher solo after Ally seemingly becomes one of their victims.]]
* BirdsOfAFeather: Both he and Ally are geeks who like to play games and can spend a long time doing so.
* BornLucky: Downplayed. He doesn't possess some unnatural good luck, it's not a part of his character and it's not like bad things don't happen to him. However, [[spoiler:almost each time he wins immunity post-merge is for a contrived reason]]:
** [[spoiler:The first time he wins in Episode 7, Lake's ring just so happens to fall out of the platform. Her temporarily successfully completing the challenge first is not counted as a result.]]
** [[spoiler:The second time he wins in Episode 8, it's because Nina realized that there will be more drama if alliances are more balanced, so she decided [[ScrewTheRulesImakeThem that the winner will get to choose other 2 players to share immunity with and she tells Karol to choose Ally and Hunter]].]]
** [[spoiler:The third time he wins in a row in Episode 9, everyone fails the last challenge in some way, leaving him as the only person to cross the finish line. Instead of deciding everyone lost since Hunter lost his partner along the way and accidentally took off his blindfold, Kristal ignores those points and decides that he won for being the only one to cross the finish line.]]
* DarkIsNotEvil: Has an entirely black and gray color palette and wears a skull-shaped necklace, which doubled with his pale skin and eye bags makes him look quite grim and dreadful, but he's one of the calmest and nicest contestants.
* ExhaustedEyeBags: Part of his character design and a possible consequence of him playing so many types of games.
* {{Geek}}: Enjoys playing all kinds of games.
* ImNotDoingThatAgain: Basically his reaction to Lake getting friendly with him in [[spoiler:Episode 6]], fearing she'd expand his LoveTriangle.
* ImYourBiggestFan: Subverted. He admits to Ally that he watched her streams and complimented her techniques, but doesn't claim to be her biggest fan and doesn't act like a LoonyFan at all.
* LoveTriangle: Hunter bonds well with Ally and Tess, and both of them like him back. Connor informs him of this fact, but he tells them not to discuss it til after the competition. Eventually, it seems to fade away to a mere friendship between the three, [[spoiler: until Hunter impulsively decides to kiss Ally before she leaves, much to her indignation.]]
* MrFanservice: He's quite attractive and [[spoiler:appears shirtless more than any other guy on the show, doing so in Episode 3 when entering the bathroom (which is also used as a thumbnail for the sneak peek of this episode), during one of his dares in Episode 5, as well as while wearing a swimsuit in two episodes, with Episode 7 featuring him wearing his swimsuit on a thumbnail]].
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: He knows full well he messed up by [[spoiler:impulsively kissing Ally before his friendship trio could be reunited and learn about his decision regarding the LoveTriangle after the show as he had promised]].
* NerdsAreSexy: A geek interested in all kinds of games and one of two MrFanservice of the season.
* OddFriendship:
** Although mostly one-sided on her part since he prefers to avoid her to avoid potentially expanding his LoveTriangle, [[spoiler:Lake develops one with Hunter in Episode 6, finding a surprising number of things they have in common while being partnered together for the challenge]].
** Despite not talking to each other [[spoiler:throughout the first nine episodes]], he develops one with Rosa Maria after the latter makes him open up about his worries in [[spoiler:Episode 10]].
* PlotArmor: Hunter has [[spoiler:never faced the risk of elimination before his elimination episode]]:
** The only [[spoiler:pre-merge episode in which he could've been eliminated is Episode 3 as it's the only time when his team loses. However, it happens during the time when his alliance has strength in numbers.]]
** The only time when [[spoiler:he doesn't win immunity post-merge before his elimination is in Episode 6...which happens to be a non-elimination episode.]]
** In episodes [[spoiler:7-10, he keeps winning immunity]], usually for various contrived reasons. See BornLucky for more detailed descriptions.
* ShipTease:
** With Tess, even as early as in the opening, taking the place of the usual main couple by the center of the bonfire.
** With Ally, starting with [[spoiler:Episode 2]].
* ATragedyOfImpulsiveness: [[spoiler: When Ally is about to leave and promises to give his regards to Tess at the hotel, it seems that their LoveTriangle storyline has ended on a high note… until he randomly pushes a kiss on Ally, leading to her calling him out and leaving in anger and confusion, as well as putting the trio’s friendship into serious question.]]

->''''Voiced by:''' Jose Luis Badalt

->'''Eliminated in:''' [[spoiler: N/A]]

James is a model and influencer who has an excessive ego. He thinks that followers are more important than friends, and he auditioned for Disventure Camp because he wants to be more popular on social media.
----
* AntiVillain: He's TheStrategist capable of betraying his allies. However, he's also not antagonistic towards anyone, has a case of LoveRedeems by [[spoiler:delivering karma to a resident {{Jerkass}}]], and is [[ALighterShadeOfBlack generally nicer]] when compared to Yul and Karol.
* ArchEnemy: He's this to Karol after betraying her, along with Aiden.
* BigOlEyebrows: Has one of the biggest eyebrows among the cast.
* BlackDudeDiesFirst: [[spoiler:Not in the sense that he's eliminated first from the competition overall, but he is "killed" first during the horror-themed challenge. Justified, since the Night Butcher is revealed to be Karol, who has an obvious grudge against him and Aiden, her first two "victims."]]
* CampGay: Downplayed. While he has somewhat camp mannerism of speaking, [[VanityIsFeminine enjoys fame and appears fashionable]], he comes off as more of ManlyGay due to his well-built physique and not being afraid to get his hands dirty. He is also pansexual and not gay.
* CharacterDevelopment: [[spoiler:Learns to put his relationship with Aiden above updating his followers on TikTok.]]
* EveryoneHasStandards: He doesn't want to harm the contestants just to win, [[spoiler: even refusing to poison Aiden, unlike Yul]].
* {{Foil}}: To Aiden, being the strategic and manly man to his emotional and sensitive guy.
* FriendlessBackground: James admits that he was obsessed with gaining followers because he used to be invisible before.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Not literally everyone since [[spoiler:Aiden eventually warms up to him, but when having the option to only vote for their allies in Episode 8, the trio of Lake, Riya, and Rosa Maria immediately choose James without question. Aside from Episodes 1, 5, 9, and 11 he's also received at least one vote on every single elimination ceremony he attended (meaning 5 out of 9) and was in the bottom two in half of them. He also has no supporters in the finale among the eliminated contestants when even Riya, the season's final antagonist, has some.]]
* IconicItem: His phone. Not only is he the only contestant to carry one, but it also represents his role as the influencer and even ends up important for the plot, as you can see under StoryBreakerPower.
* ALighterShadeOfBlack: While he's not above betraying his allies to ensure his (and Aiden's) safety, he's nowhere near as antagonistic towards anyone as Yul or Karol.
* LoveRedeems: James' feelings for Aiden [[spoiler:cause him to turn on Yul when the suggestion of poisoning Aiden comes up. Not to mention, also ends up developing true feelings for him as time goes on in spite of originally using him to gain more followers]].
* MrFanservice: [[spoiler:He, along with Jake from the previous season, are the only guys to show full-body nudity on the show. It's even used as a thumbnail for Episode 5. He also wears quite tight swimming trunks as his swimsuit, which is even featured on a thumbnail for Episode 7]].
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Genuinely regrets [[spoiler:initially using Aiden just to gain more followers.]]
* {{Narcissist}}: Enjoys the fame and attention from his followers.
* OddCouple: The two have polar opposite personalities and Aiden initially distrusts him after [[spoiler:James uses him as a cover for betraying Karol]], but he and Aiden [[spoiler:end up working quite well together as a couple]].
* OfficialCouple: While he and Aiden [[spoiler:become a couple during the season, they have a brief falling out after Aiden learns he was initially being used by James to gain more followers. By the end of the finale, they're a couple again.]]
* OppositesAttract: His relationship with Aiden, as stated below.
* PayEvilUntoEvil: [[spoiler:Poisons Yul for his plan to poison Aiden.]]
* PlotArmor: Not to the extent of Hunter, but he still has his moments. [[spoiler:In Episode 8, Karol votes for Lake with no explanation, wasting her chance to be the deciding vote for James instead in spite of her vendetta against him and Aiden. In Episode 9, she's gotten rid of via a NonGameplayElimination before the elimination ceremony and Riya (and by extension her ally, Rosa Maria), whom she's spent the entire episode as TheCorrupter manipulating her against James and Aiden, ends up voting for Ally instead.]]
* PragmaticPansexuality: He was [[WordOfGay officially confirmed]] to be pansexual during the Pride Month 2023 announcement of the show's creators, so his attempts to seduce Aiden initially can be seen as part of his strategic prowess before his feelings towards Aiden became genuine.
* PrecisionFStrike: [[spoiler:Against his followers on social media when trying to explain and defend himself when Riya exposes that he used Aiden to gain more social media attention.]]
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Manly man to Aiden's sensitive guy.
* ShipTease: With Aiden.
* StoryBreakerPower: James being allowed to have a phone. Not only does him updating his Tik Tok reveal that he's allowed to be online, which in theory could give him access to information about other contestants and their relationships and alliances on the show, which he could use against them; he can also use it to take pictures and record videos. This [[spoiler:actually comes in handy in Episode 9 and allows him to regain Aiden's trust]], which he would've otherwise struggled with. [[spoiler:Episode 11 has this used against him, as Riya exposes James' real initial intentions regarding Aiden after seeing messages from others on his phone.]]
* TheStrategist: He's the most strategic player. Unlike other antagonists, he doesn't act like an asshole towards anyone, unless they really push his buttons.
* TallDarkAndHandsome: One of the tallest characters, has dark skin, eye, and hair color, and is one of the most good-looking characters on the show.
* WillTheyOrWontThey: Has one with Aiden since his strategic nature, [[spoiler:betraying Karol and finding out James was initially just using him to gain more followers]] causes the latter to lose trust in him. However, he [[spoiler:regains Aiden's trust after saving him from being eliminated via being poisoned, choosing to betray Yul instead, and later does so again in the finale after making up with him]].

Kai is a guy who is very connected to his spiritual self through meditation. He usually stays very relaxed, and as a pacifist, he is bothered by conflicts and tries his best to avoid them.
----
* ActualPacifist: The best pacifist example of both seasons. Overlapping with BadassPacifist since, while he'll never stoop to violence, he'll verbally mutilate you through TheReasonYouSuckSpeech if deserved.
* BerserkButton: Antagonizing [[ShrinkingViolet Maggy]], as Yul finds out.
* BetaCouple: With Maggy.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: While one of the calmest contestants, he will deliver a ClusterBleepBomb PrecisionFStrike TheReasonYouSuckSpeech if pressed.
* TheBusCameBack: [[spoiler:Instead of getting on a bus, Kai left in the forest. This allowed him to appear again in Maggy's elimination episode and Episode 6 upon Oliver coming across them.]]
* ClusterBleepBomb: Delivers one to Yul during the challenge and [[spoiler: his elimination]] to the point of surprising everyone.
* FlippingTheBird: Flips off Yul after [[spoiler:being voted out.]]
* NiceGuy: One of the nicest contestants of the season and is polite and well-mannered towards everyone … [[spoiler: except Yul.]]
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: His main personality trait is being ActualPacifist, but as you can see on this page, most of the tropes refer to his ClusterBleepBomb towards Yul, which is meant to show how much Kai cared for Maggy as well as to prove how annoyed everyone is by Yul's antagonistic behavior.
* PrecisionFStrike: [[spoiler: Kai blows off these towards Yul during episode 3 and at his own elimination]].
* RageBreakingPoint: Has one towards Yul.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Delivers one to Yul akin to Lindsay's from "[[Recap/TotalDramaThatsOffTheChain That's Off The Chain!]]".

Karol is a bossy woman with a large amount of character. She doesn't mind saying what she thinks, and perfectly fits the archetype of a '' Karen ''. Despite her unstable relationships with people, Karol gets along quite well with animals, and she even owns a shelter that rescues exotic animals in danger.
----
* BetterWithNonHumanCompany: Feels a stronger connection to animals, but is rather grumpy towards people.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: [[spoiler:She pretends to want to be friends with the other contestants and to have forgiven Aiden and James upon her return, but plans to secretly get her revenge on them]].
* TheBusCameBack: [[spoiler:She rejoins the game in episode 8 after capturing the remaining contestants]].
* ButchLesbian: She was [[WordOfGay officially confirmed]] to be a lesbian during the Pride Month 2023 announcement of the show's creators. This is unsurprisingly, however, given her short temper and how she rudely behaved to many of her fellow contestants in ways not commonly associated with a feminine woman.
* TheCorrupter: [[spoiler:Her return, while short lived, allowed her to be this towards Riya and Aiden, with the former falling victim to Karol’s manipulative ideologies as a potential notch against Aiden and James, while the latter learning of her lies leads to him unlocking a more angry and vengeful side of himself.]]
* DidNotThinkThisThrough: [[spoiler:Instead of being the deciding vote against James in Episode 8, she decides to vote for Lake, seemingly so that her act of having forgiven [[PortmanteauCoupleName Jaiden]] appears genuine. However, by the time of the next episode she breaks the act anyway, meaning she's just failed a perfect chance to exact her revenge. This also means that as a result of her NonGameplayElimination in the following episode, she failed to get revenge on neither James nor Aiden.]]
* EveryoneHasStandards: [[spoiler:She can be seen surprised to see Aiden hanging off a cliff and probably dying, unlike Yul, who [[LackOfEmpathy looks content]] with Aiden's predicament. She may hate the E-Boy, but she does not want him dead]].
* ItsPersonal: Her attitude towards [[spoiler:Aiden and to a slightly lesser extent James after the latter revealed to the girls that she intended to vote for one of them, which was something she told Aiden in private. * JerkassHasAPoint: While grumpy and surly, she was right about telling Connor to act like his own age as that'll make him more accepted by everyone, and calls Kristal out on drugging her and Ally.
* MoralityPet: Karol doesn't like anyone, but animals warm her up. She nurtures them whenever they're injured, and [[spoiler: was happy to leave with an animal by her side]].
* NiceMeanAndInBetween: For the older contestants, she is the mean to Riya's in-between and Connor's nice.
* NonGameplayElimination: [[spoiler:The second time she's eliminated is via a medical evacuation due to her leg injury.]]
* OlderThanSheLooks: Before being revealed by WordOfGod that she was in her 40s, Karol could have easily passed for a woman in her 30s, around the age of Riya.
* TokenAdult: She is one of a few characters who aren't around the age of teenagers, and given how Connor and Riya were in the Green Team, Karol was the sole adult in the Orange Team.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Averted thanks to [[spoiler:her return allowing her to gain more fleshed out personality and plot relevance… then played straight again when she’s booted in the very next episode due to a medivac]].
* WeUsedToBeFriends: Downplayed. Karol and Aiden weren't exceptionally close friends, but she did describe him as the only person on the camp she didn't dislike. Lake, a young prodigy, has the ability to memorize everything she sees or hears. Her family is full of successful people who have forced her to be a perfectionist to an unhealthy degree.

* CuteBookworm: She's a cute prodigy whose books are her prized possession, which is even used for [[spoiler:a dare in Episode 5]].
* DecoyProtagonist: She's a rootable NiceGirl who undergoes a major CharacterDevelopment, develops several friendships including one [[OddFriendship with the hostess of the show]], [[spoiler:almost scores the first two individual victories]], and is heavily focused on, having the most focus out of her entire alliance. But rather than a [[spoiler:finalist, some of the aforementioned points make her seen as a threat and she ranks 8th, being eliminated in the 8th episode]].

** Although quite subtle, she develops one with [[spoiler:Kristal, the sadistic hostess of the show who's nothing like her, after their heart-to-heart conversation about their problems with their parents. * TheSmurfettePrinciple: [[spoiler:Ends up the sole female member of her team after the team switch.]]
* SorryImGay: She was [[WordOfGay officially confirmed]] to be a lesbian during the Pride Month 2023 announcement of the show's creators, so her refusal to marry the guy her parents had arranged her to marry may have been motivated by this: she just isn't interested in guys at all.
* TeenGenius: Basically her label due to her parents forcing her to constantly study. Considering they've been doing so for her entire life, she most likely started as ChildProdigy.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Delivers one to Kristal once presented with yet another SadisticChoice during the Queen challenge.

* BerserkButton: Insulting her friends, as [[spoiler:Yul finds out after insulting Lake during Maggy's elimination, earning a sucker punch from Maggy]].
* BetaCouple: With Kai.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: The most timid contestant of both seasons, but also the person who [[spoiler:sucker punched Yul for making fun of Lake]].

* TheBusCameBack: [[spoiler:Appears again alongside Kai in Episode 6 after Oliver comes across them in the forest.]]
* ChildishToothGap: Has a gap in her teeth to add to the innocence of her character.

* NiceGirl: One of the nicest contestants of the season which, besides her low self-esteem, is her most notable trait.
* RedheadsAreUncool: Has red hair and used to be a social outcast, with even her label mentioning her past as a bullied girl.
* ShrinkingViolet: Basically her label.
* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler: She barely reacts to Yul’s abuse in the finale compared to how she reacted in the game itself, with the only reaction she gave being a casual threat that got Yul to shut up immediately.]]

However, not only does his character bio included under this section mention that he had already finished high school, it also says he worked for Chris at the time, and with the time gap between ''[[WesternAnimation/TotalDrama Total Drama]]'''s seasons and this show, he should be likely somewhere in his 20s.

* OddFriendship: Develops one with Hunter [[spoiler:in Episode 10 after feeling sorry for the latter because of him being left alone after losing his allies and the remaining players teaming up against him.]]
* OutOfFocus: [[spoiler:Prior to Episode 8, she's rarely relevant to the plot, at best referencing her backstory and acting as emotional support to her friends. * ShipperOnDeck: For Maggy and Kai.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Her name can be spelled as “Rosa Maria” or “Rosa Mar'''í'''a”.

Tess is a mysterious girl. There are rumors that say she was born with bad luck and is used to tragedies. She lives alone and she has no real friends. She auditioned for Disventure Camp as prove to her psychologist that she was trying to open up to society. She didn't really expect to be accepted.
----
* AllWomenAreLustful: She gives a little smile upon seeing [[spoiler:James running naked during the fifth episode's]] challenge.
* AloofDarkHairedGirl: She's quite tall, had long black hair, and generally acts distant, at least until she really gets to know someone better.
* BornUnlucky: Her character bio mentions rumors of her being one. However, while she did suffer some tragedies in her life that led her to develop depression, during the show itself this trait ends up being InformedAttribute.
* CharacterDevelopment: Per her label, started off as asocial, isolating herself due to her depression and only joining the series at her therapist’s suggestion. [[spoiler:With time, she learned to appreciate Hunter and Ally's attempts at reaching out to her and developed [[TrueCompanions closer bonds]] with both of them, in spite of their initial LoveTriangle dynamics at that.]]
* DarkIsNotEvil: Dresses almost entirely in black, has long black hair, which added with her pale skin makes her look rather grim and slightly goth-like. However, she's much more approachable and nicer once you get to know her.
* DecoyProtagonist: She gives some [[Characters/TotalDramaScreamingGophers Gwen]] from ''Island'' vibes, is heavily focused on, appears on almost [[spoiler:three thumbnails in a row (Episode 2, and sneak peeks for episodes 3 and 4, with Episode 2 featuring only her)]], and she initially gets way more ShipTease with Hunter than Ally, even having a place by the center of the campfire in the opening - a place typically used by the main couple. However, she's also the [[spoiler:first boot of the merge]].
* DefrostingIceQueen: She eventually [[spoiler:warms up to Hunter and Tess and appreciates the two trying their best to get her out of her shell in spite of her initially cold exterior]].
* TheEeyore: She is a very gloomy person, is used to having things go badly for for, and wants little to do with making friends, claiming that there’s no point since they likely won’t see each other again once the season is over. As episode 3 reveals, this is because she is suffering from depression.
* EmotionlessGirl: Can come off this way most of the time due to her depression.
* GoOutWithASmile: A non-lethal example. [[spoiler:Rather than beg anyone from the opposing alliance to switch votes or worrying her friends about being targeted for elimination, she chooses to spend her last day in the competition happily with her close ones and faces her elimination with a smile]].
* GracefulLoser: Per above, [[spoiler:when she learns she's being targeted for elimination, she accepts the outcome and leaves with a smile, commenting that it's not the last time she'll see Hunter and Ally.]]
* HatesSmallTalk: Is quite bad at it as a result, as can be seen when Hunter attempts to get to know her for the first time.
* IJustWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: One way to interpret her telling Ally she's not certain if what she feels towards Hunter is specifically love, and that she'd be fine with Hunter choosing her.
* ImpossibleHourglassFigure: One of the girls with such figure.
* IWorkAlone: Initially prefers to keep to herself, distancing herself from others and claiming that there’s no point making friends with each other when they’ll likely lose contact once the season ends anyway. Her eventual friendships with Hunter and Ally help her to grow out of this.
* LeaveMeAlone: Tells Hunter to leave her alone in a fairly polite manner at the start of [[spoiler:Episode 2]] and to find someone else who'd actually want to socialize. [[spoiler:She eventually grows to appreciate his and Ally's attempts at befriending her, though]].
* LoveTriangle: Is a part of one with Hunter and Ally.
* TheNotLoveInterest: [[spoiler:In spite of the initial ShipTease with Hunter, she does not end up as Hunter's girlfriend and remains platonic friends with him.]]
* RomanticFalseLead: Per above, [[spoiler:she does not end up with Hunter in spite of their ShipTease starting even before that of his and Ally's]].
* ShipTease: With Hunter, even as early as in the opening, taking the place of the usual main couple by the center of the bonfire. [[spoiler:Though by the time of her boot, the two of them don’t really get together.]]
* TheStoic: Unless she's around her close friends, she rarely changes her default facial expression and tone of voice.
* TrueCompanions: With Hunter and Ally.

Yul is a Korean dancer who has worked with very famous singers. His choreographies have millions of views on Instagram. He is only 20 years old, and he has managed to become a great dance icon. But is Yul really what appears to be on social media?
----
* AsianRudeness: He's of Korean descent, and his attitude is far from decent.
* AssholeVictim: Is the one who ends up [[spoiler:poisoned instead of Aiden as he had planned.]] However, given how much of an asshole he was to everyone, it's seen as deserved and he gets no sympathy from anyone.
* BareMidriffsAreFeminine: Has a rare example of male bare midriff, which adds to his CampStraight and InTouchWithHisFeminineSide characteristics.
* TheBully: Actively antagonizes everyone.
* CampStraight: He may be a bit effeminate occasionally, but is mentioned to have had a girlfriend a while ago during the truth challenge.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: To his credit, his plan probably would've worked. However, [[spoiler:he made a grave mistake in ordering James to poison Aiden instead of Lake, triggering James's LoveRedeems.]]
** In fact, he also made a mistake in ordering James to carry out his plan rather than doing it himself. He can't control others' actions so by ordering someone else to carry out his plans, there's always a chance they'd refuse to do it. In fact, while he was in an alliance with James, this placed quite a lot of trust in him, as James could always reveal Yul's intentions to others. If Yul had [[spoiler:poisoned Aiden]] himself in secret even from James, he'd likely never be found out and his alliance would've continued.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: Overlapping with StarterVillain. He's the first main antagonist of the season and is [[spoiler:eliminated in Episode 5, becoming the last pre-merge boot]].
* EveryoneHasStandards: When Kristal asks which of them underwent a sex change, Yul doesn't say anything offensive and looks as concerned as his teammates. That or maybe he just knows that if he acts transphobically in front of the cameras, he is gonna earn a lot of hatred online, especially as his reputation is in danger following his escalator incident.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Has this role in his alliance with Hunter and Tess, who both only allied with him for the number in votes and hate him otherwise. Ends up repeating this role in his alliance with James as well.
* HatedByAll: To no surprise, his attitude leaves him making enemies only.
* HateSink: He's a bully who gets no redeeming qualities, and in the first episode alone he proudly brags about how he pushed an old grandma down the escalator at the mall for little reason. Karol, at the very least, is more cordial with everyone despite hating them.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: [[spoiler:His plan to poison Aiden so that he'd be medically evacuated from the show backfires on him when James betrays him and poisons him instead.]]
* InTouchWithHisFeminineSide: He's specialized in choreography, speaks in a high voice, and acts very effeminate and sophisticated.
* {{Jerkass}}: His main personality trait.
* KickTheDog: His general behavior, especially when targeted towards [[ShrinkingViolet Maggy]].
* LaserGuidedKarma: Gets [[spoiler:betrayed by James and poisoned instead of Aiden, whom he had planned to have poisoned by James and eliminated instead]].
* PetTheDog: Doesn't like Aiden, but he does [[spoiler:support him in the finale]]. That said, he may be supporting him because he hates James and Riya more, and if his smile when [[spoiler:Aiden is in danger of falling to his death]] is of any indication, he doesn't mind if [[spoiler:Aiden dies.]]
* PrecisionFStrike: Delivers one to [[spoiler:James]] in the first part of the finale.
* TokenEvilTeammate: The only truly evil member of the green team.
