* TheArtifact: Tess was labeled "The Asocial" back in Season 2 because she hardly interacted with anybody and preferred to keep to herself, with her only notable interactions being with Hunter and Ally. She, like everyone else who came back, retains the label despite arguably being one of the more social players this time around, especially among the Cyan Team.

Added DiffLines:

* CreateYourOwnVillain: [[spoiler:While among the more sympathetic between the trio of her, Aiden, and Tom, Tess still chose to get Ellie voted out during the Cyan Team's second elimination ceremony, which lead Gabby to not only lose all trust on the rest of the team, herself included, but to join the Villain Alliance.]]

Added DiffLines:

* {{Irony}}: Tess herself was the one to claim that Ellie and Tom's brief friendly interaction during breakfast is just the calm before the storm, and [[spoiler:she eventually ends up bringing the storm herself when she gets Ellie voted out during Cyan Team's second elimination ceremony, which causes Gabby to swear revenge and join the Villain Alliance.]]

Added DiffLines:

* RegretfulTraitor: [[spoiler:She ends up betraying Ellie and Gabby's trust by getting the former voted out due to siding with Aiden and Tom, but the next episode makes it clear that she heavily regrets the decision and feels like she had to do it in order to stop Ellie from spiraling further.]]

Added DiffLines:

* StupidNeutral: [[spoiler:During the Cyan Team's first elimination ceremony, Tess tries to play a neutral party and make a swing vote, as she doesn't think she can handle being potentially responsible for getting Lake out if she loses a tiebreaker against Ellie. Not only does this lead to both Ellie losing all trust in her and Lake being eliminated anyway, but it traps Tess in a situation where she has no choice ''but'' to pick between siding with Gabby and Ellie or Tom and Aiden.]]
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Her brand new role as a TeamMom among the Cyan Team, her focus on helping her teammates with her problems, and generally being a more emotional player during the ''All-Stars'' season are very similar to Season 2's Rosa Maria.

* BlatantLies: He tries to get Gabby to vote with him and the rest of the Cyan Team during [[spoiler:the Yellow-Cyan Team dual elimination ceremony]] by claiming that [[spoiler:Ellie being eliminated in the previous episode]] was nothing personal, despite the fact that [[spoiler:not only did he mock Ellie over the Villain Alliance not saving her during said elimination, at least implying he felt some satisfaction for it, but the fact that Ellie got Lake voted out means that even if things weren't personal on Ellie's, they must've been personal on Aiden's end.]]

* ItsPersonal: While it takes a while to show up, [[spoiler:Ellie getting Lake voted]] caused Aiden to become quite invested in getting back at Ellie for what she did, with [[spoiler:the Villain Alliance]] only further giving him reason to try get her out. [[spoiler:He eventually gets his wish during Cyan Team's second elimination ceremony, where Tess votes with him and Tom to get Ellie voted out.]]

* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Aiden's speech during the [[spoiler:Cyan-Yellow Team dual elimination ceremony]] is what gives [[spoiler:the Villain Alliance the chance to sway Gabby to their side by arguing that Ellie's elimination was not unanimous, and that the rest of the Cyan Team will betray Gabby eventually if she sticks with them.]]

* AllForNothing: [[spoiler:Tess swings her vote during Cyan Team's first elimination ceremony on Tom, choosing not to pick a side just in case Lake would lose a tiebreaker against Ellie... Which leads Lake to be eliminated anyway 3-2.]]

* LaserGuidedKarma: She had a wholesome reason to do it and at least felt sorry about it unlike Aiden and Tom, but Tess still [[spoiler:got Ellie voted out in what was likely one of if not her last chance to gain enough money to turn her life around, all while Gabby could only watch. The very next episode sees her being eliminated by Gabby after she joins the Villain Alliance during the Yellow-Cyan Team dual elimination ceremony.]]

* MortonsFork: Tess gets placed in quite the predicament during episode [[spoiler:3]] of ''All-Stars'': [[spoiler:The Cyan Team ends up losing the challenge, so they have to vote one person out. The boys are targeted, with Lake suggesting Tom while Ellie suggests Aiden. Then, Ellie puts everyone in a rock and hard place by revealing the girls alliance and Lake's intention to vote out them, meaning at this point Tess either follows along with Ellie's plan and votes for Lake, or betrays Ellie and votes for her... Which risks a tiebreaker between Ellie and Lake that she could potentially win. Tess ultimately votes for Tom, preferring not to pick a side]].

* DeconstructedCharacterArchetype: ''All-Stars'' turns him into one for the PoliticallyIncorrectVillain. During his stay in Season 2, Yul makes a lot of rather insensitive comments about his fellow contestants, from thinking Karol's being rude due to menopause to claiming Rosa being a former thief isn't surprising since she's a Latina. However, while the finale of the season implies he got some followers back, he either was lying to himself or even his followers got tired of his antics, since his social media reception in ''All-Stars'' is so low that he's forced to act like Grett's boyfriend in order to regain some of that favor, with his nasty personality and inability to not put his foot where his mouth is additionally making his manager [[Spoiler:assign Emily to watch over him and ensure he doesn't ruin his relationship with Grett in exchange for helping her with something]].

I removed something that I don't feel is a spoiler. I also tried to tweak a thing or two partly since Yul has had more appearances since then and I added more things.

* GracefulLoser: When [[spoiler:she learns she's being targeted for elimination, she accepts the outcome and she chooses to spend her last day in the competition happily with her close friends. When she's eliminated, she leaves with a smile, commenting that it's not the last time she'll see Hunter and Ally.]]
* HatesSmallTalk: Is quite bad at it as a result, as can be seen when Hunter attempts to get to know her for the first time.

** While Tess is [[spoiler:initially upset in ''All-Stars'' when she realizes the Villain's Alliance decided to vote her off, she later brushes it off as the competition merely being a game. Despite Gabby mocking her and her knowing she caused her elimination, she happily wishes her and her other teammates good luck. She even tells Gabby she understands why she chose to vote her off and promises to tell her girlfriend Ellie (who was eliminated beforehand) that she's doing well]].
* HatesSmallTalk: Is quite bad at it as a result, as can be seen when Hunter attempts to get to know her for the first time. She seems to have gotten over this by ''All-Stars'' however.

* CardCarryingVillain: {{Implied|Trope}}. Along with being one of the evilest and most malicious characters in the series, Yul refers to his alliance with other antagonists as their Villain's Alliance in ''All-Stars''. While Miriam (who was against them) gave their alliance that name, he still didn't seem to mind the title and seemed gleeful when referring to it as such.

* HeManWomanHater: Besides being an abusive boyfriend (which is one of his most notable traits in ''All-Stars''), Yul remarks "Women right? Who needs them?" when Riya shows disgust at {{Jerkass}}ery and leaves the area with Grett.

* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: Zig-zagged. He has no problem mocking Rosa Maria (a Latina) as unsurprisingly stereotypical for shoplifting to support her daughter but draws the line at making fun of the fact that one of his teammates had sex reassignment surgery. However, it's revealed in the first episode of ''All-Stars'' that Yul finds LGBTQIA+ people "disgusting". He also seems ageist as he condescendingly calls Miriam (who's old) "granny", proudly says she reminds him of an old lady he pushed down an escalator, and later refers to her an "old hag".
