* AmbiguouslyBi: He's the closest to Dorian Storm out of the whole team, and his chemistry with Opal is more along the lines of squad mates than anything romantic. There's also his propensity for female disguises, as detailed below. At the same time, he later reveals that Tharla Starr [[spoiler:wasn't his ex-girlfriend, but only a burlesque performer that he was too shy to approach and say hi without freezing up. Although ''EXU:Kymal'' reveals he did actually have a different ex-girlfriend in [[CanonImmigrant Deni$e from narrative telephone]]]]

* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: Deconstructed in a way. [[spoiler:Dariax and Deni$e clearly have this dynamic, but Dariax describes her as being as overbearing as she was passionate, leading to him leaving her.]]

* DeathOfPersonality: [[spoiler: The Spider Queen tried to do this to her in Episode 92 and 93 of Campaign 3. Opal's memories and aspects of her personality got ejected from her body as opalescent gems, and every time a gem got destroyed or corrupted Opal lost a little more of herself. By the end of the fight Opal forgot many things about herself, like her own name, Ted, her mother's and [[LiteralSplitPersonality her Aevilux origin]][[note]]which means that [[FridgeHorror by corrupting Opal's memories the Spider Queen effectively killed Ted]] and turned her into a shadow of her former self devoted only to protect Opal.[[/note]], and some of her memories with the Crown Keepers have been corrupted.]] [[spoiler: Thankfully Morrighan spent most of the fight trying to collect and protect as many crystals as she could, preventing Opal to fully transform into an abomination under the Spider Queen's control.]]

Added DiffLines:

* LiteralSplitPersonality: [[spoiler: In Episode 92 of Campaign 3 it is revealed that Opal and Ted's mother was part of the Aevilux cult [[note]]a branch of the Luxon cult focused on splitting one's soul to gain knowledge and power for two people to eventually merge into a more powerful version of their original selves[[/note]], meaning that Opal and Ted were not twins, but a soul split into two different bodies. Ted was always fated to be absorbed by Opal, and by doing so she empowered her turning her into a warlock, but she also kept her consciousness and and the will to protect Opal from harm.]] [[spoiler: Too bad that Opal finds out this information only to immediately have it erased from her mind, as the Spider Queen decided that her Champion needed to cut all the connections from her previous life to become a creature fully focused to follow her will and protect her from Predathos.]]

* MeaningfulName: "The Morrigan" in Irish Mythology is a {{Psychopomp}} Goddess of War, fate, and Death (or a trio of such, depending on the telling), who often appears as a corvid, such as a crow or a raven, and more or less has a lot of similarities to Exandria's Matron of Ravens. So, its quite fitting that Morrighan [[spoiler:becomes the new Champion of Ravens, fulfilling Vax's duties while he's trapped by Ludinus.]]

* EthicalSlut: PlayedWith and PlayedForLaughs. Apparently her and Cyrus have had something of a casual sexual relationship during his time travelling with the Crown Keepers, with Opal apparently giving him regular handjobs. However, due to her low performance role, its stated Opal is actually a virgin and is ''really'' bad at giving handjobs, due to her lack of experience, which impacts Cyrus' performance when the party needs to perform a IKnowYourInThereSomewhereFight against Opal when [[spoiler:Lolth]] possesses her. In any case, her comfortability with casual exchange of sex acts is treated as more just part of her friendly nature than a negative reflection of her in any way.
