* TheBaroness: Chapayev, Gangut, Sovetskya Rossiya and to a certain extent, Avrora, are based on the old Soviet Sexpot variant. The ''Khorovod of Dawn's Rime'' event also adds Sovetskaya Beloryssiya, Kirov, and Tallinn more Sexpots with Tallinn and Sovetskaya Beloryssiya sporting a CommissarCap to make the resemble ThePoliticalOfficer. While she's not playable yet, Sovetsky Soyuz is also one as per her few CG images.

After the event concluded, she became a permanent addition to the light construction pool.

In this case it's her Shackled Saule skin and when inspected closely enough it's obvious that her erect nipple is the only thing holding up the right side of her tattered dress.

* BaitAndSwitch: Throught most of her affection and pre-oath lines, she comes off as a sweethearted, soft-spoken, friendly tease. Cut to marrying her and you learn she is a deeply dominant BDSM dominatrix that forces you to wear a bridle around in public, whether you like it or not, practically owns you as a pet and rules your life, from when you get to eat, to when and how you get to see other people. Suffice to say, a number of players didn't especially like this, and some have speculated it contributed to her comparatively sub-par popularity.

* BandagedFace: She's bandaged on the right side of her face in both default and Maestro of Sterling Strings skins.

* BlandNameProduct: Her Blend R skin depicts her owning obvious stand-ins for a Macbook and a Moccamaster coffee maker.

* ActionPet: Kursk's base art and chibi sprite are both accompanied by a snowy owl. Said owl also delivers mail in her Lone Wolf Amid the Steam skin.

* BloodKnight: With the improvements in expressiveness as the game has gone on, you can see just how much she's getting into blowing Sirens apart, and has to be ordered to dial it back when she nearly hits Saratoga.

* BerserkButton: Downplayed when the Commander touches her breasts pre oath, believing he's taking a deprave way to prove his courage. Subverted in her lingerie skin in that while the Commander touching her breasts has her claim he had a lapse of judgement, she has heart eyes and laughs playfully, indicating she's into that sort of touching.

* GeniusBookClub: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted.]] In her Relaxation Stratagem skin, the Commander apparently attempts to impress her with his literary knowledge, to which she retorts that even destroyers can read complex literature.
* GoingCommando: Her default skin points to her not wearing underwear, while her Relaxation Stratagem skin is straight up lingerie, though points to her wearing garters and no panties as well.

* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: One of her touching quotes has her lampshade the Commander is doing it for some sort of amusement, which is a quote better directed at the actual player instead of the in-universe Commander himself. When the Commander returns from battle, her return quote in her lingerie skin has her proclaim that his reputation has improved, which is what the player needs to do out of universe to raise Ship Girl affinity.

* MultinationalTeam: The Northern Parliament roster mostly consists of shipgirls originating from Russia/USSR proper (including some with Ukrainian, Belarusian, Estonian and Uzbek builders and namesakes).
