That scene was really one giant Berserk Button for Batman; it just took all of his self control to keep from losing his shit any sooner than he did. But seriously, when he did, it was SCARY. Creator/KevinConroy had voiced Batman for the better part of a decade up to that point, but NEVER had his gravelly voice sounded as beyond-the-grave chilling as it did when he ground out through gritted teeth, "I'll break you in two." Ironically, [[spoiler:Batman soon after LOSES the fight and is at The Joker's mercy, possibly ''because'' he was overcome with rage and thus could not fight logically and sensibly]].
** In the same animated movie, Terry also managed to drive Joker over the edge by [[BoringInsult denigrating his skill as a comedian]] in one hell of a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech, capped off by ''laughing at him'', something Bruce never bothered to do.

** As has been stated elsewhere, Tigatron is a hippie. A hippie who will blow a hole through you if you threaten nature.

** Don't insinuate that Wanda Li is a glutton. She once yelled at Arnold about it while she and their classmates were inside his stomach.

** Phineas once got angry at Candace for calling one of his and Ferb's plans "stupid". It only lasted about five seconds, but for Phineas that's pretty extreme.
** Isabella seems displeased whenever someone uses her CatchPhrase of "What'cha doin'?", especially on Phineas. Obviously, she's perfectly fine when it's Phineas using it on her.

** If your boss is a gumball machine named Benson, do NOT slack off at work. And don't call him "all talk".
*** Don't throw trash at him either.
** Don't make fun of Mordecai's difficulty in admitting his feelings to Margaret. [[spoiler: Rigby actually ended up dying briefly because of this]].
** Oh, and don't tell Muscle Man he smells like barf or call him a barfsack.

* ''WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty'' :
** Rick: Never betray him or you will regret it. Those who do are known to be brutally beaten or killed.
** Morty: Being accused of things he didn't do or being called a terrible person.
** Beth: Not being considered a real surgeon drives her insane. Also while she is pretty lenient of her father Rick and his antics, when they actually hurt the family, she has no issue standing up to him.

** For Stu, don't ever bad-mouth his inventions. This especially applies to his older brother, Drew.

** Eric Cartman apparently has at least four Berserk Buttons. One is any references to him being fat or overweight. Another is being compared to ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy''. He also really hates being conned out of his money; it's in your best interests to give it back or he will do something really horrible to you. And then there's insulting his mother; when Grandpa Marsh does so, he flies into rage and starts to beat the crap out of him, although Stan and Kyle restrain him before he can do any real damage.
** As for Kyle, don't call his mother a bitch. {{Justified|Trope}}, as [[KnightTemplar his mom]] isn't exactly the type of person you'd want to piss off.
*** Or be Cartman and do anything.
*** Kyle isn't from Series/JerseyShore. Don't suggest that he is.
*** Or make fun of him being Jewish, or cross the line with Ike, or say something stupid within earshot. Kyle is built on this trope.
*** Contrary to the former, Kyle does call his mom a bitch in "Fun with Veal", though.

** Kenny (as Mysterion) gets one when he tries to tell the rest of the kids that he can't die, and Kyle says it'd be pretty cool to be immortal. Kenny, [[ImmortalityHurts who knows better]], flips out just a little bit. He gets another one in "The Poor Kid". Don't mess with his little sister.

*** And Neptune help you if you strip Sandy of her fur.
*** Unless you enjoy having to wear a SlaveCollar, don't cut down Sandy's tree.

Squidward learned it the hard way after he used a knockoff collar to make Spongebob lose his house and rubbed it in his still-crying face by telling him to dig a hole “like that idiot sea star”, causing Squidward to get his just desserts curtesy of Gary, while Spongebob’s house ends up rolling back to its original position.

*** Never tamper with his Krabby Patties or the formula. Unless it earns him money, he'll kick you out in 2 seconds flat.

*** If he wants to be alone, don't you ever disobey him and follow him everywhere. That means you, [=SpongeBob=] and Patrick.

** Don't abuse or badmouth fusion in front of Garnet. Jasper, Peridot, and Pearl found that out the hard way. Pearl especially, as Garnet spent several episodes angry with and barely speaking to her after an incident pressed that button.
** Amethyst's origins, being small/"defective" because she was left forming underground for too long, are a major source of insecurity for her, so making fun of them will quickly upset her like nothing else. The only reason Peridot wasn't pounded for making comments about it was that she was actually trying to ''[[InnocentlyInsensitive compliment Amethyst]]''.
** Don't mock or diminish Rose's revolutionary efforts in front of any of the Crystal Gems, especially Garnet and Pearl. For that matter, don't bring anything to Pearl's attention that alters her understanding of her relationship with Rose Quartz.
** Steven of all people has three berserk buttons: insulting Rose Quartz, being caught in the middle of an argument between the Gems, and [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk Kevin]], the ''one'' person he flat out ''hates''. He doesn't get violent, but he does get upset, and he will express it in no uncertain terms. He also really doesn't like it when Peridot betrays his trust.
** Don't act like an [[ManChild overgrown kid]] during an important mission around Connie. She'll give you the [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech chewing-out of your life]]. Lapis and Peridot learned this the hard way.
** Homeworld in general, especially the "elite" Gems, is this to [[BloodKnight Bismuth]]. [[spoiler: And, whatever you do, don't let her think for a ''second'' that you have '''''any''''' sympathy for the enemy.]]

* ''WesternAnimation/SuperNoobs'':
** Shope's favorite dinosaur is the triceratops. Mock her favorite dinosaur and she will lose it.
** Memnock is a calm and nice guy but he has at least four of these buttons. 1- Don't insult him and don't call him ugly. 2- Do not insult his cooking. 3- Do not fart at him. 4- Do not negatively compare him to a bug. Memnock's comrade and best friend, Zenblock set all of those buttons off and boy did he learn the hard way that pressing these buttons will cause Memnock to lose his temper.

** Ironic to say, in an episode called ''The Milky Waif'', Jerry has one. Tom found that out [[TooDumbToLive much TOO LATE]]: Tom was smacking Nibbles with a fly-swatter and when Jerry saw the red welt on poor Nibbles' behind, Jerry '''''[[ScreamingWarrior ROARED]]''''' [[PapaWolf before giving Tom]] a quality ass-beating.
** Don't even ''think'' about messing with Little Quacker or his mama ever. Think ducks can't hurt you? Say that after [[PapaWolf Henry]] tears you a new one.

** The conductor in ''Carmen Get It'' will get furious if you mess up his concert.

** Don't touch Brock's car, or take his last cigarette.

* ''WesternAnimation/WildKratts'':
** Aviva will get furious if you mess up her inventions.
** Zach will get mad if you tell his Zachbots what to do.

*** Also, [[AllThereInTheManual due to an incident with an illusion of the Joker in Mount Justice]], he hates monkeys. And apes. Not that he's ever come across a ''normal'' ape or monkey, mind, nor one that ''isn't'' trying to kill him.

** Winnifred, a wannabe witch, gets violent when someone calls her "Freddie."

* ''WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball'': Rob's BerserkButton is when people get his name wrong... which happens [[RunningGag pretty often.]] In fact, he's '''surprised''' when Gumball gets his name right in 'The Rerun.' Possibly [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] post Season 3, since Rob was completely forgotten in the Void, including his name.

** One Donald cartoon "Cured Duck" was practically created as an excuse to show this trope in action. When Donald is unable to open a window at Daisy's house, he loses it and demolishes her house.
