Bonus Boss was renamed by TRS

* Galacta Knight returns as a BonusBoss, being fought in the True Arena as the third to last opponent. Unless you saw his picture in the end of the Extra Mode Credits, this fight is only foreshadowed by easily missed details in the appearances of Stone Kirby and Metal General. The fight itself is... mediocre at best, until, like many bosses in the game before him, he TurnRed. His theme music kicks in and he starts wiping the floor with you with upgraded versions of his previous attacks and throwing out new attacks.

Nowhere is it stated that King D-Mind is a fusion of two entities or a fully possessed entity. Not in the novels, not in-game and not even in other external websites or magazine publications.

* There's also King D-Mind, which is essentially Shadow Dedede from Triple Deluxe being fully possessed by Dark Mind from Amazing Mirror. He combines both of their attacks with frightening proficiency, making it a huge challenge even with a fully upgraded party.

* The Aeon Hero trips up much of the standard Galacta Knight fare, with new attacks, new movement, and possible new lore implications when he starts raining down Heart Spears. The fight takes the standard Galacta Knight and turns it into something entirely new and interesting.

* Forgo Leon, Leongar's souped up counterpart in the Isolated Isles storyline, starts out with his second phase rather than his first. Upon reaching half-health, however, Fecto Forgo's influence over him increases, boosting his power. While he now has the attacks of his original first phase, they're ramped up to ridiculous levels, with his old attacks leaving lightning and fire about, and his new attacks including a rock rain and sweeping laser, covering the crippling weakness he had to long-range attacks in his original first phase in spades. Forgo even joins in in the last third of the battle, creating a huge blast in the arena that can do heavy damage, as well as taking potshots at you from then on. Hope you can beat him quickly, as well as get acquainted with the dodge button!
* You can't have a Kirby game without a final battle that rocks your socks off, and Forgotten Land more than delivers. Beginning with the first phase, Fecto Forgo is absolutely terrifying, keeping you on the edge of your seat as this hideous slime monster tries to kill you via throwing slime globs at you, crushing you, and biting you. It may be a simple and easy boss battle, but the entire sequence feels not unlike a horror movie, and it's definitely one of the most frightening moments in recent Kirby memory.
** Reuniting with their other half, Elfilin, Fecto Forgo goes to the top of Lab Discovera to destroy the one thing that's been a thorn on their side since the beginning of their plan; Kirby. In the angelic yet deadly form of Fecto Elfilis, they easily make the final boss battle an immense spectacle. Between swipes and jabs of their caduceus, energy blasts from above, opening interdimensional portals, and lasers, Elfilis is constantly on the move, alternating between the ground and the air. Upon reaching their second phase, they start showering the arena in massive meteors, as well as gaining a shockwave move that, if you don't attack the real Elfilis enough times, they heal themselves. It's a very difficult fight, but one that hardly ever feels unfair; it's a test of reflexes and how good you are at taking advantage of when Elfilis leaves themselves open. And once you suck out Elfilin from them... Elfilis STILL won't back down. Ready to collide Pop Star and the New World together in one final "screw you", Kirby ends up utilizing Mouthful Mode on a truck to speed to Elfilis and hit them with a heavy impact, disintegrating their body. Cheesy end? Yes. Is it also awesome? Yes.
** Even their body dying and their soul getting absorbed will do nothing to quell Elfilis's rage for Kirby, as they return one final time in the Ultimate Cup Z as Chaos Elfilis, ready to finish what they started. They change up their attacks drastically, with their dash utilizing their portals to attempt to attack Kirby several times, creating spikes that try to stab Kirby if he doesn't move out of their horizontal axis in time, making their energy blasts require moving in certain directions and jumping to dodge, and making shockwaves and energy tornadoes with their caduceus. The second phase brings everything to a climax, with a giant Elfilis visage attacking you in tandem with the real Elfilis during the short duration it's active. After sucking out Elfilis's essence when they're weakened enough, Elfilis, even in pure essence form, wants Kirby dead, bringing the traditional Soul attacks to flatout obscene difficulty in one final phase. If you manage to beat them with no power-ups or the Morpho Knight Sword, consider yourself a Kirby master. Oh yeah, and the best part? Unlike the other Soul bosses, this is canon.
* Upon defeating Forgo Leon, Fecto Forgo emerges and tries to have one last stand with Kirby in the form of Soul Forgo. At least that's the plan... until a certain butterfly appears and absorbs Forgo. Yup, Morpho Knight is back, and this time, it doesn't even need an EX form to rip Kirby a new one. It maintains the traditional sword and fire attacks, only amplified, even more so than its Star Allies incarnation. It takes the former biggest threat, Forgo, and uses them as an attack in the form of a slowly homing soul. Upon reaching its second phase, it pushes all of its attacks to their limit, turning the arena into a blazing inferno. And remember, there aren't any Dream Friends to help you out here; you're flying solo this time, and Morpho Knight won't hold back.

* Landia, the boss of the seventh and final world. It's just as Magolor said, a fierce four-headed dragon who shows no mercy to any who disturbed it. Some of his attacks are taken from Red/Great Dragon (one of the Computer Virus' monsters), like the flame breath or the "gigantic wing flaps". It's even better in the second phase where it splits into four smaller dragons, with awesome, hard to avoid Combination Attacks.

* Clawroline doesn't have the size advantage the previous bosses had, but she's no less of a slouch when it comes to her fight. She's constantly on the move, ready to swipe at Kirby and turn him into ribbons. Her second phase has her climbing on the pillars of the arena and showering Kirby with knives, as well as pouncing on him. All of this makes the fight look like a circus act (fitting, considering the arena and current world), with all the fun to match. Her Phantom counterpart adds cloning into the mix as well, with 3 of her clones assisting in the second phase pounce attack, and she now fires WAY more knives.

Don't use numerals instead of words for single-word numbers. It looks lazy. These entries have other grammar problems besides that.

* Kracko's fight stands out for having 2 phases. The first taking place ON Krako's current body as his eye occasionally pops up from the ground to try to hit Kirby with a beam attack and chase him around the cloud platform. He later emerges from the cloud in his jr form, sending tiny cloud minions at Kirby. Then after the first form ends, Kracko takes on his full form and proceeds to attack Kirby with an aggressive moveset including shooting his lightning in a circular arc and occasionally throwing more cloud minions where Kirby is jumping to dodge a prior attack.
* King Dedede's rematch remains one of the most challenging encounters with the king in the earlier titles. The biggest addition to the fight being his "enraged" state where he moves much faster and all of his attacks are followed with an explosion. On top of all this, despite the Game Boy's graphical limitations, the fight still occasionally give the player visual cues that Dedede isn't in control of himself in this fight as his movement will seem a little off and he occasionally stops and starts snoring.

* Mecha Kracko stands out for having two health bars (not even the final bosses have more than one), making the arena hazardous in its second phase, and having widespread attacks (that collaborate with the arena to send Kirby straight into pits). It's potentially the hardest boss in the game despite being the third one, but it's welcoming in what is otherwise an easy game with standard bosses. Also, don't try fighting it with any ability that can melt clouds (including ). Just don't.

* Metal General is pretty good. He fights like Meta Knight, but uses his own, mechanical attacks, as well, including generating giant rockets that he uses to ram into you. In Extra Mode, after beating the Metal General EX, he summons HR-D3, the robot from the Kirby Quest minigame in Mass Attack, which he redesigned in his image. That's right; he managed to take Dedede's own Humongous Mecha. And, considering the first form, it's highly likely it was designed after Kirby 64's HR-E.

* King Dedede, per the series tradition, pulls his weight in Kirby's first 3D outing. Not even holding back the second he sees you, he sends two Awoofys to distract you while he pelts you with his signature hammer attacks. TWo-thirds of the way in, his hammer falls... yet that doesn't stop him, as he grabs A PILLAR FROM THE BACKGROUND to try and smash Kirby with it. His attacks stay mostly the same, but the range is vastly increased, and he gains a smash that causes ice to form in the ground. His Phantom form might just make him faster and hit harder for the most part, but he begins the battle with SIX Primal Awoofys at your tail, and he utilizes Gordos in ways to mix up his attacks.

Mass purging unnecessary use of boldface markup. Notice none of the other entries on this page put the boss' name in boldface markup; that's website policy. And don't use multiple forms of emphasis markup together. Just choose one.

* Gorimondo may just be the first boss with the difficulty to match, but being the first boss in Kirby's biggest adventure yet and having a whole new axis to work with, as well the sheer size difference between him and Kirby makes him a great send-off to Natura Plains. Doubly so for his Phantom counterpart, which increases his difficulty and also gives him a funky new color scheme.
* Tropic Woods has the standard Whispy boss fare, dropping apples... er, cocounts at you and spitting air at you, with the only notable thing being his humongous size. However, the second phase throws in a couple curveballs, such as massive gusts of wind, roots that will home in on Kirby ready to skewer him, and even a SHIELD that will prevent all attacks unless you can get around it. Not as awe-inspiring, but still a huge step up from the regular Whispy fights. His Phantom form ups the ante, with a palette not too different from the vaporwave aesthetic, and turning his shield attack into a MAZE.
* King Dedede, per the series tradition, pulls his weight in Kirby's first 3D outing. Not even holding back the second he sees you, he sends two Awoofys to distract you while he pelts you with his signature hammer attacks. 2/3rds of the way in, his hammer falls... yet that doesn't stop him, as he grabs A PILLAR FROM THE BACKGROUND to try and smash Kirby with it.
* Sillydillo may look goofy, but his appearance belies his actual combat skill, as he's easily the toughest boss so far. He's fairly slow in his first phase (though with a hard-hitting cage attack), but once he breaks the ground, the fight ramps up in difficulty as he gains the speed advantage. The fight then becomes a test of avoiding Sillydillo's rolls and taking advantage of the openings you do get. His last phase adds in his dance partner(s... made of junk) to the mix, keeping you on your toes while you whittle down the last of his health. Phantom Sillydillo speeds him up, gives you less openings to attack him, as well as an attack where he attacks you WITH his Kirby dolls. That explode.
* Knowing you have to rematch Dedede, you'd probably expect him to pull on the Masked Dedede routine... and you'd be half-right. Meet Forgo Dedede, who, instead of powering up his hammer, wields two, and uses the added power to not only cover for his slow start-up when attacking, but gains the fire element, coating the arena in flame tornadoes. Like the previous fight with him, he loses his hammers in his second phase... but rather than gaining a new weapon, he goes without, and starts fighting you like a rabid animal, making him much speedier. And he STILL has the ability to use his fire tornadoes. Phantom Forgo Dedede goes all-out, with his hammers flying about, coating the arena with lava via dunking half of it in, creating way more shockwaves and fire tornadoes, and summoning a meteor rain in his second phase, turning the rather simple second phase to a chaotic frenzy.
* As befitting for the (seemingly) BigBad, Leongar pulls no punches. He begins the match as a close-range fighter, swiping and slamming at Kirby for heavy damage. Those expecting to cheese the fight with long-range abilities like Ranger will be shocked when he gets (even more) possessed for his second phase. This phase instead utilizes long-range attacks like slashes you need to duck or jump over and a giant sweeping laser, as well as closing the gap between you and him via a rapid bite attack. This, combined with his heavy amount of health, makes having to learn his attacks and the best way to dodge them a must if you want to succeed. Fitting for a king, no?
** Forgo Leon, his souped up counterpart in the Isolated Isles storyline, starts out with his second phase rather than his first. Upon reaching half-health, however, Fecto Forgo's influence over him increases, increasing his power.
** Reuniting with his other half, Elfilin, Fecto Forgo goes to the top of Lab Discovera to destroy the one thing that's been a thorn on his side since the beginning of his plan; Kirby. In the angelic yet deadly form of Fecto Elfilis, he easily makes the final boss battle an immense spectacle. Between swipes and jabs of his caduceus, energy blasts from above, opening interdimensional portals, and lasers, Elfilis is constantly on the move, alternating between the ground and the air. Upon reaching his second phase, he starts showering the arena in massive meteors, as well as gaining a shockwave move that, if you don't attack the real Elfilis enough times, he heals himself. It's a very difficult fight, but one that hardly ever feels unfair; it's a test of reflexes and how good you are at taking advantage of when Elfilis leaves him self open. And once you suck out Elfilin from him... Elfilis STILL won't back down. Ready to collide Pop Star and the New World together in one final "screw you", Kirby ends up utilizing Mouthful Mode on a truck to speed to Elfilis and hit him with a heavy impact, disintegrating his body. Cheesy end? Yes. Is it also awesome? Yes.
** Even his body dying and his SOUL getting absorbed will do nothing to quell Elfilis's rage for Kirby, as he returns one final time in the Ultimate Cup Z as Chaos Elfilis, ready to finish what he's started. He changes up his attacks drastically, with his dash utilizing his portals to attempt to attack Kirby several times, creating spikes that try to stab Kirby if he doesn't move out of their horizontal axis in time, making his energy blasts require moving in certain directions and jumping to dodge, and making shockwaves and energy tornadoes with his caduceus. The second phase brings everything to a climax, with a giant Elfilis visage attacking you in tandem with the real Elfilis during the short duration it's active. After sucking out Elfilis's essence when he's weakened enough, Elfilis, even in pure essence form, wants Kirby dead, bringing the traditional Soul attacks to flatout obscene difficulty in one final phase. If you manage to beat him with no power-ups or the Morpho Knight Sword, consider yourself a Kirby master.
It takes the former biggest threat, Forgo, and utilizes him as an attack in the form of a slowly homing soul. Upon reaching its second phase, it pushes all of its attacks to their limit, turning the arena into a blazing inferno. And remember, there aren't any Dream Friends to help you out here; you're flying solo this time, and Morpho Knight won't hold back.

Doubly so for his Phantom counterpart, which increases his difficulty and also gives him a funky new color scheme.

* 's star barrages nearly put Nightmare to shame, and it bouncing lasers off of its mirrors is an extremely chaotic and tough-to-dodge attack. For such a confusing game, beating the snot out of the final boss is a very satisfying way to cap it off. It culminates in a shoot-em-up, and once you bring its health bar to zero, the credits roll and you can still beat on it.

* VideoGame/TeamKirbyClashDeluxe (the e-Shop expansion of the subgame) ends with spoiler:King D-Mind, which is essentially Shadow Dedede from Triple Deluxe being fully possessed by Dark Mind from Amazing Mirror. He combines both of their attacks with frightening proficiency, making it a huge challenge even with a fully upgraded party. The game also gives us a proper fight with Taranza, and he is no pushover, pulling out a host of completely new moves that make him on par with a few endgame bosses.

* Getting to fight Taranza for the first time (as he didn't have a boss fight in Triple Deluxe) is as cool as the boss is unique, with several attacks taking advantage of the fact that he is designed around a four person fight.

* During the credits of "Heroes in Another Dimension", instead of Dedede, you get to fight . It's not very hard, but seeing as a complaint with the dream friends in Star Allies was the fact you could only fight Meta Knight and King Dedede, it's still a fun mini fight.

This makes no sense grammatically as written.

* A version of Nightmare reappears for the first time since 1993's Kirby's Adventure with a host of new attacks, new themes, and his Japanese anime VA returning to do Parallel Nightmare's laughs. Between the hailfire star missiles, the various glowing orbs, and remixes of old attacks (such as his one where he flies offscreen then comes back down, only to do a fakeout and then come down on the opposite side of the screen), the boss has been entirely overhauled with a mass number of new attacks and variety of alterations to existing attacks. Couple that with three full remixes to his original boss theme, and then add in those haunting laughs and cackles he does during the boss fight, and it's not hard to be as excited to face the boss as the boss is to face you. To help add to it, he has six refights, and each builds on one another: three Story Quests, and three Party Quests, with the final Party Quest he's fought being designed for Level 85 characters. Even at Level 100, you'll still be unable to tank hits and keep getting slapped, as he still does outrageous damage. This means you can always have a whirlwind fight against a crazy powerful opponent.

* King Dedede is an very awesome boss fight due to having a whopping four phases, and the fact that he suddenly becomes muscular, which does a great job of changing up the pace of the fight.
