** One was against the Red knight Thoros, who broke out a Wildfire sword in his duel, testing Geralt's creativity. But who was a GracefulLoser, saying that Geralt was the prophesized hero of this melee, who would topple a mountain and tame a lion.
** Second was his fight with the Mountain. His first true "monster" fight since coming to Westeros. And though the mountain was mighty indeed, Geralt fought with a ritcheous fury, eventually wounding him too badly to continue.
** Finally, the other knights, seeing Geralt's success all back up....except for Ser Jamie, who proclaims his ambition to be the best swordsman in the world, and so challenges Geralt for the honor.
*** What follows was called one of the greatest duels of all time, as youth fought experience, and skill was well done, ending with Geralt leaving a scar on Jamie's face, but a great deal of combat respect between the two afterwards.
