** The same chapter has All Might go toe to toe with the Slayer, and to say Yagi gave it his everything is an Understatement. While it still ends up as a CurbStompCushion in the Slayer's favor, the fact Yagi actually ''dented'' the Praetor Suit ended up impressing Taggart since nothing Hell could throw at it could do the same thing as what he did.

* The Steel Sabers are a band of mercenaries who kill heroes for a living and also sport, and they've established themselves as TheDreaded among the hero community because of this. The Slayer is not deterred by this at all, and when he arrives on I-Island, he goes to town on them with gusto.
