!!This anime provides examples of:

* AskAStupidQuestion: Ralf asks the actual Kyo if he's one of the many clones made by NEST. Kyo glares at him and ask if he wants to find out at the end of "All Over". Iori told him that the Kyo they're observing is the real deal.

* PoliceAreUseless: The police aren't seen when the explosions start in Southtown. The Meiras, the various KOF tournament fighters, the Ikari Warriors, Kyo and even K' and Maxima all intervene to either investigate who's responsible and/or infiltrate the city and do the things they need to do. Only the emergency services were seen putting out the fires.
* PrivateMilitaryContractors: The Ikari Warriors intervene in Southtown in "In the Dark" after a night of chaos.
* RooftopConfrontation: In "Accede", Billy Kane and Lien Neville fight each other on the roof of Geese Tower. Rock Howard later enters the picture and fights Billy.
