** ''Anime/TekkamanBlade'' can be seen as a expy of Detonator Orgun to the point that in ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsW'' both D-Boy and Tomoru are worried about being taken over by their powers. [[spoiler:they were also part of the same mission. One ship got captured by the Radam and turned into Tekkamen, the other escaped through a wormhole and became the Evoluders using data stolen snd beamed to them by D-Boy's father at the same time he rescued him.]]

* PowerOfLove: Tomoru uses this against Zoa.

** DragonTheirFeet: After Lady Miku accepts Kumi's ideals and then commands all of the Evoludron to retreat from the Earth because there is something worth protecting. Her second in command, Commander Zoa becomes this and then tries to execute the plan to obliterate Earth. [[spoiler: It was also revealed that Commander Zoath was the one using Lady Miku's order as an excuse to let the Evoludrons obliterate anything in their path and to satisfy his thirst for murder.]]

* DoubleWeapon: Orgun uses one in the fight against the Evoluders.

** The EDF uses Birdmen, which [[TransformingMecha transform into a flight mode for long-range combat. They also have a transforming tank armor, and what appears to be a Space version that appears in the recruitment commercial.

But Orgun, one of the higher-ranking Evoluders, has gone rogue and is determined to make it to Earth first, even if it costs him his life.

* {{Meganekko}}: Dr. Michi Kanzaki appears to be this: due to of course, wearing a glasses and a fanservicy like outfit and sometimes her rather stoic attitude that could be considered a bit attractive, not to mention that there is a fanservice like scene in the third Episode when Dr. Michi tries to save Tomoru from Commander Zoath who invaded his body.

* TheChooserOfTheChosenOne: Orgun chooses Tomoru to be his own vessel by linking his mind and body to him telepathically so that he could save the world from the evil Evoludron.
