Moving from YMMV.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Bowdlerize}}: The dub often omits/heavily censors scenes that are perceived as too mature for younger audiences. Especially prominent in the first two seasons. A lot of scenes where younger characters were shown to be subjected to pain outside exhaustion were also toned down. The third season onward mostly averted this by keeping the scenes and scripts intact and therefore closer to the original Japanese.
** Any scenes involving Wakiya removing his jacket to reveal him wearing weights were cut out.
** Episode 6 of season one removed the scene of Valt crashing into the doors of the mall due to arriving before they opened.
** Wakiya used a lighter to start a fire, but the lighter was edited out.
** Any time a character shows CrossPoppingVeins, ScaryTeeth (characters who already had sharp teeth; i.e Xander, Lui, etc. are exempt), blushes, or sheds tears; these are removed as well.
** The scene of Ken falling off a cliff is edited out and redone with him simply revealing that he and his family are moving away.
** One for the manga. Shu was visibly seen to get cut in the eye by Single-Layer Spryzen. The anime does away with this scene and the dub mentions only Lui being careless and doesn't explicitly say he scarred him.
** In season 2, episode 25, the scenes of Ana getting thrown back and Ren Wu crashing into a building are removed. Also, his staff and another Blader's nunchucks are recolored from their natural colors to green.
*** The crocodile Banner carries was also changed to a massive unknown wrapped object.
** In season 2, episode 5, the scene of Django attempting to put his arm around Shasa was cut possibly so younger viewers won't imitate his inappropriate behavior towards a girl.
** In season 2, episode 21 and 22, Kristina's back view has her wrists (box tie position) tied with ropes while dangling which was edited out so it only shows her wrists folded behind her back without the ropes securing it. Likely to make the movie-stunt look safer for Kristina who was in her teens at that time.
** Whenever Aiger changes modes on his Xtend+ driver, you can only see his hands moving and obscuring Achilles. In the original Japanese, you can see him properly adjust the tips. Possibly done to avoid misleading marketing of the toyline, in which Xtend+ was not adapted into the [=SlingShock=] system.

* ChunkySalsaRule: A smash to pieces variant. The main gimmick of this series is the Burst mechanic. Beys are now spring loaded and have four notches that hold the bey together, which come loose as they're attacked. Once all four are loose, the bey falls apart and causes a Burst Finish. In a meta sense, this allows for quicker matches, as Burst works as a point match rather than a Best of 3 like previous series.

* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: Ilya is incredibly cautious when battling. Her K.Os are preferably done in one strike (and against the ground), she attempts to outspin whenever she's outmatched, and she only ever goes aggressive together with Rashad and Bashara. As Magma Ifritor is a Hasbro bey, it has weak burst resistance and significantly less weight than a Takara Tomy bey, which is reflected on how Ilya battles with Magma Ifrit.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Happens quite frequently. Whenever a character does something previously seen in the Original Series and Metal Saga, it won't always work properly.
** When both Beyblades are on their last breath, both Bladers give out a battle cry complete with an Aura and their Bey's Avatar ready to charge to motivate the final blow. They occasionally just stop spinning without an epic clash.
** A Blader may shout out their special move, but the Bey won't behave that way if mis-launched.
** Despite many characters having a great track record in tournaments and official games, scenes that show them practicing have them lose quite often.
** Beyblades in this series are mostly plastic, unlike Metal Saga. Whenever they break, it's never just a small chip or a potion of it removed; they get shattered into many pieces. Unlike Metal Saga, the battle is rarely over in just one round, and Beys have to endure crashing into walls and opponents numerous times so breakage is imminent.
** When Free returns to BC Sol in Evolution #38 after having left earlier in the season, most of the group are willing let it slide and welcome him back without issue. Shasa however, spends two-thirds of the episode holding a grudge against him for it, and it's only after the two have a battle that she finally forgives him. The reason why she was so angry? Free may have ultimately had good intentions by motivating them to become a better team, but he still abandoned them at a crucial moment during the European League without explaining why, resulting in their initial losing streak.
** In Turbo #25: The cast of Burst are usually polite to any adults they meet on their journey. However, when Naru gets separated from Aiger and meets Raul, she immediately gets suspicious ([[DramaticIrony The audience may know Raul as a friendly old man, but she doesn't]]). Later, Ranjiro, Tobisuke and Gumita see [[CoolOldGuy Raul]] walking with [[TokenMiniMoe Naru]] and immediately accuse him of being a kidnapper.
** During [=QuadDrive=], Bel defeats world-class Bladers because of a new Beyblade System he created. After more people upgrade their beys to the DB system, his loss count starts to build up as his opponents no longer have outdated beys.
*** Bel proves that you don't need to make a new part or give your Beyblade a complete overhaul just for a new ability. All he makes is a small attachment. Later to make up for his lack of strength, he makes a stronger launcher for maximum output.
** Hikaru and Hyuga have some of the worst solo records out of all the protagonists in their focus season. Their debut had them as rookie bladers facing off against seasoned bladers using a bey system unfamiliar to them.
*** Their Limit Breaker system helps solve the fundamental issue of their lack of high level experience. They are given one extra attack upon activating Limit Break and changes their Energy Layer to improve on their preferred styles. Considering they are always pushed into a corner, having a little extra something while they are losing helps solve the issue.
*** The brothers also don't start winning until the Ultimate Tag Series tournament, but that's due to the fact that Tag Battles are fought to the last bey spinning. They don't have to burst to claim a victory and most of the time they end up ringing out their opponents.
** The opposite is true for Lain who has an incredible blading record as he is not only a blading prodigy, he's personally trained by Shu as a member of the Raging Bulls. A prodigy trained by one of the best on one of the strongest teams is bound to perform well.
*** This manages to repeat itself with Rashad, who is also a prodigy trained by Valt as a member of BC Sol. Because of this, he also has one of the strongest records in his season.

This is made even stranger with their Brazilian cousin Ranzo who starts ''[=QuadDrive=]'' with yet another Glide Roktavor before it gets destroyed and upgraded to Cyclone Ragnaruk.
