The {{soft reboot}} sequel, titled ''[=BoBoiBoy=] Galaxy'' began airing on TV on 25th November 2016. It follows the cast taking their adventures and battles against evil to space, by rescuing other Power Spheres from being abused in the hands of power-hungry aliens. The 2nd season of the ''Galaxy'' series is continued in a comic book series called simply ''[=BoBoiBoy=] Galaxy Season 2'', with its animated version scheduled to release on December 3rd, 2023.

* ShowingOffYourPowers: When [=BoBoiBoy=] tells his friends about his adventure the previous day that ended up with him acquiring ElementalPowers, his friends laugh it off, so he tries to prove it by demonstrating them. He manage to summon a big gust of wind in their faces, but Gopal remains unimpressed. [=BoBoiBoy-] then prepares to summon his lightning sword, but is interrupted by Adu Du, who proceeds to attack them. It is only when he's fighting Adu Du that his friends see his powers and truly believe that he's a superhero.

The 2nd last episode of BBBG Sori ended with that cliffhanger and it was resolved the next episode. Not the whole series being left without tying up the plot.

* ClothespinNosePlug: When Adu Du creates the [[OnionTears Onion Monster to make the heroes cry so he can get the DNA of BoBoiBoy's tears]], Yaya and Ying are the first to find a way to fight it without tearing up -- by nipping their noses with clothespins and wearing goggles. When they explain that they learned this from chopping onions at home, the Onion Monster starts becoming scared of them.
