''Biggie Bear'' is a trio of {{Public Service Announcement}}s made in 2004 by Parents For Responsible Viewing of South Africa to highlight the dangers of [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids letting kids see TV programmes not intended for them]]. All three episodes: "Biggie Bear says hello", "Biggie Bear's surprise", and "Biggie Bear meets a friend" are named after the titular VillainProtagonist.

Every episode follows a simple formula: the titular Biggie Bear turns up, cheerfully addressing his audience on what a beautiful day it is, and making plans for an apparently child-friendly activity. Then another animal shows up... and [[SubvertedKidsShow let's just say that Biggie causes things to go to Hell in a handbasket]].

All three videos can be watched [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQKh1nL2S-I here]].

* BigSHUTUP: BigSHUTUP!: Biggie Bear gives one of these to Mr. Rabbit when he tries to say hello to Biggie Bear and the audience right before Biggie beats him up and kills him.

* DaylightHorror: Biggie Bear commits his heinous acts in a sunny setting.

* VillainProtagonist: Biggie Bear is the focus of the shorts, and he turns out to be a total dick towards everyone and isn't above committing murder and rape.
----

!!These videos show examples of:
* AntiRoleModel: Biggie Bear sees himself as a suitable role model for children. His actions quickly reveal him to be anything but, to make a point about how kids shouldn't be watching people like him.
* AsideGlance: Biggie Bear does this after witnessing Mr. Spotty's depression, and coming up on the spot with a plan to cheer him up.
* AxCrazy: Biggie Bear is completely fine with committing murder, drugging people, and raping anyone he wishes whenever he wishes.
* BearsAreBadNews: Biggie Bear himself. And considering how eager he is to murder, drug and outright rape anyone he comes across, he definitely is bad news.
* BigSHUTUP!: Biggie Bear gives one of these to Mr. Rabbit when he tries to say hello to Biggie Bear and the audience right before Biggie beats him up and kills him.
* BoomHeadshot: When Mr. Rabbit interrupts Biggie Bear's intro, Biggie beats the hell out of him, shoves a gun in his mouth, and pulls the trigger.
* CharacterCatchphrase: Each PSA opens with Biggie declaring, "Hello, kids! What a beautiful day!"
* DepravedKidsShowHost: Biggie's entire schtick is pretending to be a wholesome host of a children's TV show - before committing all sorts of unspeakable crimes on the air.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Mr. Rabbit turning up at Biggie Bear's garden despite the latter telling him not to do so anymore? Grounds for the latter to [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown beat him to a pulp]] before [[BoomHeadshot blowing his brains out]].
* DrugsAreBad: "Biggie Bear's surprise" involves Mr. Spotty getting injected with heroin, with Biggie Bear abandoning him as he descends into a drugged, euphoric haze.
* TheEeyore: Mr. Spotty, a depressed dalmatian that appears in "Biggie Bear's surprise". Unfortunately for him, Biggie's idea of "cheering him up" is to drug him with heroin.
* FatBastard: Biggie Bear is noticeably more portly than the three unlucky animals who come across him, and, to put it lightly, doesn't act friendly towards them.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Biggie Bear can be happily addressing his audience of "kids" one moment, and then horrifically mistreating his companions the very next.
* GoryDiscretionShot:
** "Biggie Bear says hello" cuts to black just before Biggie Bear shoots Mr. Rabbit.
** Averted in "Biggie Bear meets a friend", where Biggie Bear rapes Miss Pussycat ''on camera''. Both are in outfits with BarbieDollAnatomy, but there is ''no'' mistaking what he's doing to her.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Mr. Rabbit was banned from setting foot on Biggie Bear's garden because, according to Biggie Bear himself, he did not want anybody else hogging the limelight. The former's return ends with the latter [[DisproportionateRetribution outright murdering him]].
-->'''Biggie Bear''': This is MY show!
* {{Leitmotif}}: Biggie Bear wandering into frame at the beginning is accompanied by a rather whimsical tune - a stark contrast to [[BearsAreBadNews Biggie's true depravity]].
* ManipulativeBastard: The titular character has no problem with exploiting the feelings of others to achieve his sick desires, such as assuaging Mr. Spotty's concerns to offer him heroin, or seducing Miss Pussycat so she'll lower her guard enough for him to rape her.
* PetTheDog: Even if [[DrugsAreBad the way he tried solving it was wrong,]] Biggie Bear seemed pretty genuine in wanting to try to cheer up Mr. Spotty of his depression.
* PreMortemOneLiner: This is what Biggie Bear has to say to Mr. Rabbit before [[BoomHeadshot shooting him in the head]]:
--> "Do you see what happens when you come to my garden, bunny? HUH?! ''DO YOU'' '''''SEE WHAT HAPPENS?!'''''''
* RapeAsDrama: Biggie Bear forcing himself onto Miss Pussycat is treated as the horrific violation it is.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: Biggie Bear decides to rape Miss Pussycat in "Biggie Bear meets a friend".
* RighteousRabbit: Mr. Rabbit may have trespassed on Biggie Bear's garden, but he's far more genuinely pleasant and only did so to greet Biggie Bear and the audience. Unfortunately, [[BearsAreBadNews Biggie himself doesn't take kindly to him]].
* SarcasticTitle: All three of the episode titles eventually sound sarcastic once things take a turn for the worse, but especially in "Biggie Bear meets a friend" - Miss Pussycat, the so-called "friend" in question, is raped at the end.
* SceneryDissonance: All three of Biggie's crimes take place in broad daylight and within his lush garden.
* SexyCatPerson: Deconstructed; Miss Pussycat is the only female, a humanoid cat, looks appealing enough... and Biggie Bear ultimately decides to rape her.
* SleepyDepressive: The unhappy Mr. Spotty is the least energetic of Biggie's victims, his voice noticeably slow and slumping down to nap before he's offered heroin.
* TheSociopath: Biggie Bear himself ticks the boxes for being a sociopath. He's [[FauxAffablyEvil falsely polite]] [[TheCharmer and charming]], [[ItsAllAboutMe very self-centered since he does not like when other people except for him has the limelight]], [[AxCrazy very violent seeing as he is fine with committing crimes such as murder]], [[LackOfEmpathy has a disturbing lack of concern for the misfortunes of the people he attacks]], and has a high sexual drive seeing as he rapes Miss Pussycat on their first meeting.
* SoundOnlyDeath: The sole concession the series makes is fading to black right before Biggie Bear shoots Mr. Rabbit at the end of "Biggie Bear says hello".
* SubvertedKidsShow: The entire point of all 3 [=PSAs=] is to appear safe for kids... until they're not.
* SuddenlyShouting: Right as he is about to execute Mr. Rabbit, Biggie's voice noticeably increases in volume.
