In 2006 he sees himself as "The Angry Nintendo Nerd" in the middle of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" and tells him to change his name to "The Angry Video Game Nerd" upon being presented with a copy of ''VideoGame/MegaManX7'' on Playstation 2. In 2004 he sees himself fresh off his "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" rant, and tells him to keep on with reviewing video games he thinks are of poor quality, leading him to select "The Karate Kid".

He left pauses to let current Nerd respond, only to predict what he just said.
