For the page image, how about using End Boss from Super Paper Mario instead of Albert? Preferbly when he's saying "It is my duty as End Boss to laugh at your feeble party and proclaim your doom."
I thing is, I can't find a good screenshot of said text. Would anyone care to help?

We should list aversions. Or have a trope for no boss battles at all.
Cake!
Perhaps a list of non-video game examples could be included? It could be informative, and at least one series that i know of (Gantz) specifically invoked the trope by one character pointing out that a new enemy that appeared must be the final boss of that "level" of the game. There would be plenty of examples of non-video game final bosses that take place both in and out of in-universe video games (compare Sword Art Online, for example, with Man of Steel—the former is a literal in-universe video game final boss, while the latter has a figurative final boss in Zod)
