This seems quite like an excuse for some to rant on episodes they don't like.

I thought that "Stuck in the Wringer" was the worst Spongebob episode ever, just as bad, if not worse, than "A Pal for Gary".

No one bothered to add it? And if you're thinking of "Scott Tenorman Must Die", it has to be Canon Discontinuity, because frankly there were enough witnesses during Cartman's "I made you eat your parents!" bit to put him away for a long time.

It's not over. Not yet.

(Wow, 3 years.)

STMD is not my favorite episode, but at the same time, it's not the worst in my opinion.

I personally think we don't need this joke about Transformers fans. But if you want to see it:

  • It's even gotten to the point where there are jokes about how divisive things are in the Transformers Fandom: "How many transformers fans does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Three: one to screw it in and the other two to argue how much better the bulb was in the 1980's."

I don't think the Avatar: The Last Airbender episode "The Cave of Two Lovers" belongs here. Why?

This trope is about denying events that happened. Now the entry that used to be on here was that the powers that be left it up to the viewers' imaginations as to whether Aang and Katara kissed when the lights went out.

Here's the thing. The show itself does not tell us if Aang and Katara kissed. If you think they kissed, OK. If you don't think they kissed, OK. But here's the thing, the show never told us that they kissed or not. So whatever conclusion you've come to, you're not denying something the show told us.

Or am I just thinking too deep?

What happened to a good chunk of this page? Too much bile? Too much of one person's opinions? I hope I didn't do something by mistake again!

Does the Ed, Edd n' Eddy example really count? The troper who posted it basically says "The movie is generally considered very good by the fans, but it had Character Develovment (or Character Derailment as he/she puts it), so is generally ignored". YMMV about how good the character development thing was for the series, but wasn't the point of Fanon Discontinuity that an episode/movie/whatever is widely disregarded by the fandom due to not liking certain events ocurring in them? Since the events of the E En E movie occur at the end of the series, it makes sense that there was character development in it. I understand if the troper meant that it is ignored in fanfiction (since you can create "what if" storylines, do character studies centered around the pre-movie setting, etc.), but it's NOT the same as, for example, the hatred the Disney animated sequels or the Zelda C Di games receive ("it makes no sense in-story/destroys characterization/is terrible, it doesn't count!"). The above mentioned troper even says "fans say it's generally the best work of the entire show"! How is that Fanon Discontinuity? (just seeing if someone agrees with me to cut it from the page)

Got worried about creating a text wall in edit reasons, and am now wondering if I should have just kept it in edit reasons. But here goes.

Ported over an entry from Film about the Disney Animated Cheapquels. When I ported it over I cut out a mention of the poorer animation quality, as that has nothing to do with storyline. Yes, I know it's a reason given why people dislike them, but it's got nothing to do with storyline. On a related note, I would've mentioned the fact the cheapquels are produced decades after their predecessors, but that's got nothing to do with storyline either.

I pasted it over an entry that was bullet pointed under all the things about Duck Tales/Quack Pack, which didn't explain why the Cheapquels are thrown out. Also, the live action 101 Dalmatians films take place in their own continuity and therefore cannot be discontinued, as they're not being cut off from anything. There is also no need to list every individual cheapquel because they all receive hate.

Finally, what happened to the original Disney Animated Canon entry in the first place?

Just saw the Rugrats bit and it made me think of a bizarre dream that I had where Nickelodeon said they had to choose the babies one or the All Grown Up one to be the official canon. They chose All Grown Up, and everyone went so crazily angry, they made the world explode. Weird huh?

Transformers Kiss Players cannot be listed here due to the fact it takes place in its own continuity.

Scratch that. Apparently it takes place in Generation 1 continuity if the notes at the bottom of this article be believed. And if it's true, it ought to be listed in Anime, not here.

Transformers Animated cannot be listed here as it takes place in its own continuity.
