• Memetic Mutation: AADDDDDDAAAMMMM!, his constant cry for Adam Cole's attention during his #NeckStrong gimmick
• Narm: Good Lord, the man's early ROH promos are just wince inducing. Any attempts of his to sound badass usually backfire. He can walk the walk, but he definitely can't talk the talk.
• Never Live It Down: Getting kidnapped by Dexter Lumis and beaten by him; not to mention the Fanon that Dexter may have sexually assaulted him while a prisoner of him.
• Unexpected Character:
  • For weeks Austin Aries' tag team partner in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic was shrouded in mystery, until it was revealed that it was Strong all along.
  • His appearance in AEW could also be considered this. While it was known that Strong asked for his release from WWE after the Cole-Fish-O'Reilly trio that formed The Undisputed Era reunited in AEW and said request was rejected, Strong just kind of stopped appearing on WWE television altogether without much fanfare, while at the same time Fish left AEW and both O'Reilly and Cole went down in injuries, meaning that even the hype for a full-on UE reunion died down. In fact, by the time Strong did appear in AEW, it wasn't even known that he had been released from WWE in the first place or at which date it happened, with reports indicating that WWE apparently went out of their way to not inform anyone of his release.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic:
  • Roddy is booked as a babyface in ROH, and does a good job of it. The problem? He is a legendarily good shithead heel in PWG, and it can be hard to celebrate his accomplishments without thinking "That's the guy that routinely beats the shit out of Candice LeRae."
  • His feud with Dexter Lumis, as some fans cheered Dexter finally giving Roderick his comeuppence.
