Tropes
- Irony: The serial killer performed his specific mode of killing to try and get a specific fast food sandwich back into circulation, but they had no way of knowing this to comply with his desires. Once he's killed, the restaurant he was trying to appeal to celebrates the end of his killings by bringing back that specific sandwich.
- Opening Shout-Out: Later on in the episode, Stan is about to sing the theme song again, but Francine interrupts him telling him to sing the quiet version since she has a headache.
- Special Edition Title: After Stan leaves the house during the intro, it cuts back to Francine, Hayley and Steve, with the latter starting to sing his "go to school song" while leaving to go to school. Hayley then leaves for work. Jeff wakes up afterwards and Roger returns home after crashing Stan's car.
- Take That!: Jeff asks the serial killer, that if he wanted the burger back by using Facebook, the killer says Facebook is for racist grandmas.
