Unmarked spoilers ahead.

  • Naru and Taabe's sibling relationship. They both offer each other useful information, with Taabe guiding Naru on hunting and Naru in turn informing him of the best tactics to hunt. In fact, it's her strategy for hunting the lion that results in Taabe getting granted the title of War Chief.
  • Raphael Adolini is nothing but cordial to Naru, even offering up his pistol in exchange for medical attention. Given the fact it's decorated with his name in gold, it must've been an extremely prized possession to give up.
  • The Predator can be seen in one scene inspecting the dead and skinned buffalos. It takes note of the discarded cigar, but also the flower Naru put on the carcass, perhaps wondering how that came to be. It shows that even a Predator can have a moment of curious humanity, as it lingers on the flower more than the cigar.
  • In a weird way, the Predator itself seems to have nothing but respect for Naru, even after she cuts off its arm. It never uses any of the Combat Pragmatist tactics it utilized against the French, and makes sure the battle is drawn out long enough to get the best hunt.
    • This is made all the more notable by the fact that it didn't even give her brother the same courtesy, despite him putting up the best fight up until that point, as it went into Dirty Coward territory the moment Taabe got a good few nicks into it to get him In the Back instead, despite having all of the traits of being a suitable Worthy Opponent to duke it out with. Which, in hindsight, makes the Predator's Villain Respect of Naru in their final confrontation rather startling, all things considered.
  • The end of the film shows Aruka inciting the Comanche elder to give Naru the same ceremony as he granted to Taabe, showing her full support of her daughter, in contrast to earlier scenes where she admonished her for failing to kill the deer.
