Episode 1: The Case of Crystal Palace
- When they prepare to approach Crystal, Charles and Edwin plan to disguise themselves. Cut to Crystal on the subway with two people in clown costumes... who just get off at the next stop, with Charles and Edwin actually having convincing disguises as subway riders.
- Esther Finch pushing out Charles when he is possessing her involves her thrashing violently and banging her head against a post.
Episode 2: The Case of the Dandelion Shrine
- After all the buildup, the Dandelion Sprites come out of Niko's mouth and turn out to take the form of a pair of crass, bickering assholes.
Episode 3: The Case of the Devlin House
- Niko sensing sexual tension between Edwin and Monty:Edwin: He's a boy and I'm a boy. If anything, he just enjoys ghosts.
Niko: You know two boys can like-like each other, right? I have a lot of manga about it. It's really sweet, and explicit. - Just as the situation at the house has been resolved, Niko runs up to the house banging a crowbar and pot lid, saying the Internet said it wards off evil.
